1. A wide variety of options, great answers to my questions, always friendly. I would recommend The Clinic to all.

2. They avoid their standard discounts for seniors, vets, etc. by listing items as Specials at full retail. Examples include their Pax pods at $65 which is identical to full list price at other dispensaries which also discount. This is inexcusable. Beware of their pricing, especially is you qualify for discounts.

9. From the first time I came in and ever since, I have fallen in love with The Clinic Mundelein.

   I am greeted when I come every time and given a warm welcome by the budtender when I sit down in front of them. They are very knowledge about their stock and make wonderful suggestions to try out. There daily sales and point system is great and am usually able to cash in and get a free 1/8th every other month.

   Recently, they started seminars from introduction to cannabis to how to make your own edible oil and more.

   As far as I am concerned, The Clinic Mundelein will always be there.

10. I was greeted and given the utmost comforting feeling for this was my first time. Then it only got better from there! EVERYONE was so kind and wanting to assist and chat for a perfect few seconds.

11. This place used to be the best. Now it is just about the money. $40 eighths used to be three or four a day. Now maybe one. They can’t tell me they are not making money hand over fist. Greed has not come into this place. So sad.

This was my first trip to a dispensary and while I understand that many people are understandably frustrated by lines, waiting and medicine selling out (Kool-Aid Kush sold out right as I was called to the counter to choose my medications, making it impossible for me to get, but luckily I did manage to get the other two strains I wanted to try), I can’t fault The Clinic Mundelein for those issues. They’re simply dealing with the newness of the program and getting their sea legs and doing an admirable job of it, in my opinion.

    The dispensary itself is small but nicely put together (it reminds me of a combination of a high-end yoga studio and a Lululemon store; nothing pretentious about it, just classy and slick but still somehow bohemian). The waiting room is well-stocked with drinks and small snacks, the staff is courteous, helpful and friendly and the entire process was straightforward and simple, from the moment I walked in the door.

    I ended up getting Purple Urkle (Goldleaf label) and X-Wing (Rythm label) at the advice of the lovely gal who helped me at the counter, both of which have been great choices (I’m particularly loving X-Wing and will definitely be buying more of it).

    Unfortunately, The Clinic Mundelein is 1.5-2 hours away from me, so once the dispensary that’s set to open 15 minutes from my house gets their approval, I’ll likely be changing my dispensary of choice (since we’re only allowed to choose one). But that’s not a reflection of The Clinic. I would happily stay here if the drive wasn’t so long (when you’re in chronic pain, even a somewhat reasonable commute becomes much more difficult) as I love the staff, the atmosphere and the medicine.

15. answered a cell phone call while being helped by a patient consultant. Rather than being asked to wrap up the call by the PCT, A I was approached by the security and told to hang up. A I have a TBI (tramatic brain injury) and PTSD. I was on the phone with my caregiver so that she could help me pick out medicine and ease my stress while being helped.

    The PCT was not aware of my condition, however, if she asked me to get off my phone or step aside I would have and also would have let her know who I was talking to and why.

    A patient care tech’s job goes above and beyond your average customer care rep. A Dispensary patients have debilitating illness/conditions that require a level of understanding and compassion which this particular consultant didn’t afford me. By unnessarily involving the security guard, I was humiliated and thrown into a tailspin all day (side effect from my brain injury).. No one should be treated this way. The way in which my phone call was handled was excessive. More in line with what you might expect in a courthouse or jail, not a place that is supposed to be helping patients purchase medicine.

19. Had to adjust my review to address 2 important things. The place can get very crowded and it’s not rare for there to be at least 10 people waiting in a small waiting area, so not super comfortable. And it can take a while for the budtenders to make it through the patients. Also, the tip jars are pretty tacky to begin with but the size of them are pretty silly.
    Again, great product and good staff, but the high prices and atmosphere leave a bit to be desired, IMO.

They are not afraid to say aEURoeI don’t knowaEUR and then ask someone who does if you have a question about something. I think I have done business with all the staff.They give suggestions and don’t push any specific product. They make me feel better and never judge. They are all great, and are greatly appreciated.

23. Finally got my card in July. I chose The Clinic because there is nothing by me in McHenry at the moment and I went to the open house they had just before it opened. The waiting room is comfy when not full and waits aren’t long. The staff is great! The product is top notch. Gorrila Glue #4 is amazing! The prices aren’t bad but I’ve seen slightly cheaper at further dispensaries.

31. Growing up just outside of Amsterdam I was unusually nervous my first time visiting The Clinic in Mundelein, as a new patient. My nervousness was quickly put at ease by lots of smiles and equally as many cool people.

    The atmosphere was great, the menu was diverse enough that it should make the pickiest of people happy, oh, and did I mention the people? They made the whole process as easy as possible, obviously love their jobs and take pride in what they do.

    So far the product itself is great. Highly recommend the Gorilla Glue. Highly. Herp a derp. lol.

33. I’m new to the medical cannabis world and like so many others was apprehensive about going in for my first time. WOW! Literally walking in the front door you feel a level of comfort with everyone you encounter from the Security Staff at the front desk to the Bud Tenders and people willing to take whatever time is necessary with you to explain, discuss and explain again if necessary. I’ve only just started and so far I’ve been able to get off of my prescription Ambien that I’ve been on for 10+ years now!! I truly can’t say enough about the people that have helped me at The Clinic Mundelein.

    My most recent Budtender was JR and the knowledge this man has about the different products, devices, settings on vape pens, etc… was truly impressive. He listened and was able to provide me with new solutions to try, which have been very successful, and just another reason that I’ll be back.

    My goal is to get off of all the prescription medications that I have been on for years now and I’m already off to a great start thanks in great part to JR and The Clinic Mundelein.

35. These folks are GREAT. They remember their patients names and are pretty knowledgeable and definitely the right mix of professional and friendly. Their menu has LOTS to choose from. Prices need to start coming down soon, like on strains that are low potentcy for example,(I feel) should be priced differently. Only TOP SHELF strains should be $20/gram….again (IMHO)

39. My only dispensary. I have been going here for a year and a half. My only complaint is they aren’t open on Mondays. Everything else is amazing. Great customer service and a huge variety of products usually. Everyone here is very helpful.

41. I I absolutely LOVE this place! All the folks here are so knowledgeable, friendly, and for me is always a great experience. Very nice, clean beautiful facility. Lounge is cool and even has water and snacks. Bathrooms are very nice and ALWAYS kept clean as well. At times I just hang out, as they really make you feel like family, and we are all part of that entire family/culture that is aEUR~ The Clinic Mundelein’. At least that is how they make me feel. Jami, Cow, Marlene (Boss Mom), JT, Anna, Kevin, and I know I am missing some but they are ALL so helpful! Whether I have questions, need advice, am curious, or whatever I need for all my health issues they are always quick to help. If they are not as knowledgeable on certain items, they will ask a co-worker and before you know it, you have several patient specialists offering to assist you. This place truly rocks! From my very first time walking in the door, they made it very easy and comfortable. It’s truly been a blessing for me, and life changer to be able to use The Clinic. Because of these fins guys, and gals my quality of life has improved tremendously, and I couldn’t have done it without your help. So for that I am grateful. It was everything I ever thought it would be, the prices are reasonable, the budtenders are knowledgeable without pressuring you to buy a certain strain, it smells GREAT in there, I could go on and on about why I will go back. 44. I was really comfortable during my first visit recently. Very nice location and staff with a great selection of products, specials and love the points system. Kevin was very helpful and put me at ease making informed choices to treat MS. The daily updated menu emails showing changing stock and specials are cool too. I will definitely be back to try some new products soon and this is the dispensary to go to.

47. This place is located in a discreet location just northwest of Chicago but far worth the trip. As a patient I feel extremely comfortable asking questions about what would suit me best for my conditions and I can honestly say every time I have gone they have given very knowledgeable information. At first I felt kinda shy but everybody I’ve dealt with since then has changed that. I feel welcome and safe. Thank you for your professionalism and courtesy. 53. My experience at the Mundelein store was extraordinary! Professional, dignified, all employees were so knowledgeable I couldn’t STAND it! That means it was a terrific cool. My bud- tenders was off the hook in completely understanding my needs, has started me out slow, and now after a second visit, I feel much more adventurous on this pain journey. After lots of just CBD oils, my pain is almost gone after 8 years of arthritis and osteoporosis. Don’t EVER hesitate to visit this group of beautiful people who care so much about……….just YOU!

57. Everyone at The Clinic is awesome! I thought I would be uncomfortable, especially my first visit. I was immediately put at ease by the kind, friendly people who work there. They will spend time to make sure you are getting the best pain relief possible for any time of day. I also appreciate that my driver can come inside and wait in an informational, comfortable room while I consult with my budtender instead of waiting in the car.

    I really like the staff, they are friendly, and know what they’re talking about. They made some really good recommendations for flowers that helped me with pain issues, but wasn’t so strong as to cause panic attacks. I would highly recommend The Clinic Mundelein to anyone who needs pain relief!

    Now for some wishes! In California dispensaries they sell what is known as “Compassionate Mix,” which is sort of odds and ends shake that is much cheaper than the flower. I wish The Clinic could do something like this, too! Another wish I have is that it would be nice to have some old-school flower available…like Acapulco Gold, or Columbian Gold. That would be awesome.

69. A bad dispensary, and a simply uncomfortable place to be, especially if you are suffering. Front desk guy is a huge jerk. Online menu inaccurate and lacking detail. Will drive miles out of my way to spend my MMM (medical marijuana money) somewhere more organized and aware of how their dreadful choice of the customers 1st contact can destroy their entire customer experience.

80. Weird location, kind of in a strange back industrial building. Not very welcoming. The waiting room is tiny and usually filled with people. Depending on your budtender your experience is different. Some are not as good as others. Tipping seems forced no matter who you get. I haven’t decided about moving yet, I’d like a more personal experience instead of feeling rushed.

I also had an issue where a disposable product died early on me, and without question the problem was remedied. 82. I cannot say enough good things about everyone there. I love going there for so many reasons and can’t fathom anyone saying anything negative about The Clinic or its staff. While I have on rare occasion have found that an employee wasn’t as knowledgeable about a new product, a co-worker always steps in to help. I wish I could find this type of help and assistance from my co-workers. Everyone there rocks and I feel so strong about them that I’ve recommended others and will continue to do so. 83. I’ve been a patient of this location since the beginning…since day 1, the staff at The Clinic have been ” second to none”. Any time that I have had a question, comment, and or concern within regards to pricing or flower/concentrate selection; have been addressed/answered immediately.

84. I suffer from social anxiety and it doesn’t even bother me when I’m at The Clinic Mundelein. The Customer Service is phenomenal. I recommend this location to people all the time. Hail to Medical Cannabis, the savior of so many illnesses!

85. The Clinic Mundelein staff has been great. I’m a disabled veteran cancer patient. My health’s declined due to the bouts of the illness so that I’m home bound and bedridden the majority of my life these days. While only leaving the bed to see a doctor, go to a hospital and make my trips to the Clinic. Encourage by my wife, we did some research and decided to try the medical cannabis. The VA used to be that if you stubbed your toe they would give you enough narcotics to put a heard of horses asleep for a month. Now with the national news about opiate overdosing and deaths, this has included the VA as well. So now as one of my VA doctors told my wife and I recently that she was taking all of her VA patients off any opiates because she’s not losing her job, her career, her freedom, if one of her patient’s overdoses, period. Her solution to treat chronic pain was to see any other medical doctor but her. This is where The Clinic Mundelein has been awesome to my wife and I, they have been willing to email back and forth with me as well as to call the house and speak with my wife and I about the million questions that we’ve had. We’ve never had the staff there get back in touch with us via an email in more than 48 hours. The VA will respond to your emails, but they say make an appointment and then you can have your questions or concerns answered in 2 to 3 months. You can tell that the staff at The Mundelein Clinic just doesn’t view this as simply their job, they treat my wife and I great! What impressed me the most is that the Patient Care personnel actually listened, didn’t interrupt and talk over the top of us. So many places these days whether in the medical field or in any other business just treat you like cattle wanting to find out what you want or need as fast as possible and get you out the door! Not here, would definitely recommend that when you get your state ID card and are selecting a dispensary that you chose The Clinic Mundelein.
