MedWell Health & Wellness – Brookline

This compassionate certification center offers medical marijuana evaluations and certifications for eligible patients seeking to legally use the medicine as alternative mode of therapy. Patients will be seen by Dr. Doran, a state approved certifying physician registered with the MA Medical Use of Marijuana Program. The on-site medical doctor is qualified to provide a comprehensive assessment to determine if medical cannabis treatment may effectively treat/and or alleviate a patient’s current medical condition(s). Dr. Doran will educate patients on the use of cannabis and discuss its associated benefits and risks.

Any approved patients will be issued a certification and be able to start and complete the registration process using the Medical Use of Marijuana Online System (MMJ Online System) as required by the MA DPH Medical Marijuana Division. Once a patient’s registration is approved by the state program, he or she will receive a Medical Use of Marijuana Program ID Card, required to purchase the medicine at a Registered Marijuana Dispensary (RMD). The closest dispensing locations to this office are in Downtown Crossing Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, and Newton.

MedWell Health & Wellness also has a location in Brockton, Plymouth Co. about 45 minutes south of Boston, where there is also a state approved RMD. This compassionate organization can also assist any approved patients with completing the required forms to obtain a Program ID Card. In-home visits are also available upon request.
