MedWell Health & Wellness – Pittsfield

MedWell Health and Wellness offers both in-office and home visits for medical marijuana evaluations and certifications to patients residing throughout the state of Massachusetts. House calls accommodates patients who are home-bound, require ambulatory care, agoraphobic, or simply prefer seeing a doctor from the comfort and privacy of their own home. This compassionate organization aims to expand medical marijuana access in areas lacking certifying physicians for the Massachusetts Medical Use of Marijuana Program.

Patients will be seen by a state approved certifying physician qualified to certify patients suffering from chronic and debilitating medical conditions. The doctor will review the patient’s medical history and then determine whether or not medical marijuana treatment may be an effective alternative to traditional modes of therapy. During the evaluation, the doctor will also discuss the benefits of using medical cannabis, and any risks associated with its use.

Any approved patients will receive their PIN number, enabling them to register and obtain their Registry Identification Card. This card allows the legal purchase and consumption of medical marijuana from a Registered Marijuana Dispensary (RMD).
