Best part about this place is the high quality product and for the most part friendly staff. I had a situation a few weeks back where one of the budtenders seemed annoyed at my request and just wanted me out the door. Thankfully, I dont think she is there anymore. Other than that, no complaints.

Enjoyed my first visit to Rocky Road a few days ago. My girlfriend and I wanted to try out a few dispensaries in our area to see which was best. Rocky Road has a good selection of flower at discount prices. Felt a bit rushed during our visit, even though we were the only ones inside at the time. Our budtender could have been new, since he didn’t appear too confident with some of his answers.

So I was spoiled my first time in a dispensary I’ve only been able to purchase recreational buds for the past few days this was the first place I stopped super friendly knowledgeable helpful patient employees. It is the only place I will go to even though it is an hour and 15 minute drive from me. The second place I stopped near Glenwood Springs was double the price very unfriendly employees looked annoyed with me for having questions. Rockyroad’s first impression stuck with me enough to turn me into a loyal repeat customer. There is also a locals discount which is extremely hard to find throughout the mountains.

The wizards and warlocks frequent this delightful alchemist for the finest mountain concoctions this side of West Vail. I highly recommend taking the split in the old town road toward the green mile and settling in to spend a few thousand schillings.

Stopped by during my short visit in Vail. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted. I told them it was my first time in there and they walked me through what they were about. Also signed up for their loyalty program. Then talked with the bud tender about a few of their strains. He was really knowledgeable and let me smell a few of the flowers. Ultimately ended up with quite a bit due to great happy hour prices. Quality is high and I would definitely recommend this place. It does close quite early though, but they open at 8am!

I had the pleasure of shopping here two weeks ago. I purchased extract cartridges and prerolls. Having worked in the industry for a while I have or thought I had a pretty high standard, but product quality blew me away. That said the reason I will be coming back is the staff that I dealt with. The lady at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful, and my budtender Colette was friendly and knowledgeable, correctly explaining co2 extraction, fractional distillation, and terpene reintegration. I will be moving to vail this coming week, and plan to shop exclusively at this dispensary.

It was great! Was visiting from Michigan and this was my first time in any legal dispensary. The gentleman that helped me recommended a disposable pen and some edibles to get me through my weekend of skiing, and it ended up being the perfect amount for me. Being a newbie to Colorado, I didn’t really know what the dispensary had in store. Well, by the time I asked all my questions about many different items, my head was spinning!wasn’t certain what to pull the trigger on but finally made a decision. Got a cartridge for a pen -RMR – and it was a lot less money than a competitor across the street.
Why I’m not giving 5 stars all around is I felt the budtender was impatient with me and was getting annoyed. She was just doing a job and not really being helpful.
I was really pleased with my visit to Rocky Road. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The quality and variety of product was excellent. I can’t wait to go back. They also have a lot paraphernalia in other part the store and cool t-shirts, hats, and all kinds of fun gifts.

Have family up here in gypsum and stopped at rocky road in the evening. Had a great interaction with our budtender, very knowledgeable and eager to help us find exactly what we needed. I was very impressed with what they did to the building. It didn’t feel cold like most. I tell everyone to come here for a good rec experience.

Great service. I went in another, here unnamed, dispensary down the road, and when I asked the guy about a strain, he had no answer other than, “It’ got me so blown.” Congrats, dipshit. Doesn’t help me. My budtender was knowledgeable, and serviceable enough to get on the computer when he wanted to double-check the genetics on something. That’s awesome. Buds were slightly weaker than I expected, but good, and I don’t feel they were misrepresented at all. Great price. This was my first time in, and I know it’ll be where I go from here on out.
