45. I wanted this to be an easy, enjoyable experience, but it was a nightmare. There was trouble getting the referral code to show up for the discount, there was trouble with my account not showing up in the system, there was confusing about unannounced promotions entering and exiting my cart without explanation, there were huge delays in customer service responses. Throughout all of this we contacted customer service and multiple different people tried to help us, one couldn’t locate my account after I made one and told me to create a new and that didn’t work either. Many times it would take hours before we’d get a response on our problem so by the time I checked out it was past the cut off time. That means I had to wait 2 days for so called “overnight delivery”. If it wasn’t for all the ridiculous issues and if employees didn’t wait an hour to respond in customer service chat I could have checked out much, much earlier. We complained to Sean with customer service and he pretended to be apologetic at first, but then changed his mind and I guess didn’t feel like being responsible for being the reason my purchase was delayed so late and just blamed me instead. Would never recommend to a friend. Never buy from them, they don’t deserve your money.

224. In case you want a review from a genuine HUMAN BEING, who’s been loyal to Stoney for roughly 5 months:

     Originally I gave this place 5 stars for the convenience and value, but they’ve since gone downhill, albeit gradually. Here are some of the reasons I am updating my review:

     1. They buy the vast majority of their reviews, which I find appalling in a moral sense, but I won’t judge them for business techniques. I also had issues with their referral program but

     2.The quality for most of their products is below average (the one time I tried their flower, it was the worst I’ve ever had, but decent concentrates and edibles). That said, they do have plenty of great options and have been adding more lately, but their prices are no longer competitive with dispensaries, making Stoney seem comparatively lower quality. This leads me to the main issue of late.

     3. They have been decreasing their discounts and have started charging tax to medical patients recently and without any customer notification. To put things in perspective, if I were to repeat an order from just last week, it would cost me roughly 25% more (This is even funnier when you consider that I am using a 20% off code today vs only 15% for my previous order).

     The only reason I ordered from Stoney in the past was because they had good prices and fast, friendly customer service. I always felt that they didn’t really deserve the business due to their shady nature (feels very corporate), but the deals at the time more than made up for it. Now that they have indirectly bumped their prices by 30-40% (No tax discount for Med and the Leafly discount went from 25% to 15%) I do not plan on placing anymore orders with Stoney.

     Sorry, old friend.

421. Personally not the biggest fan of the overnight delivery method because I like getting my meds right away after ordering/paying…but this is the only one I’d ever use. Though it’s marketed as overnight, it technically can come the next day between 8-5 which is just super arbitrary when a patient is just looking to get their meds. Usually comes in the morning, sometimes comes later. It would be nice to know if my meds are coming, say between 8-10am or 12-2pm at least vs anytime between 8-5pm… Additionally, they have such good customer service to assure they are satisfied that it kinda sucks they use a separate company that conducts the delivery because they don’t have any way shape or form of fixing a problem themselves if something arises which has happened on all my orders except one. They, however, always make up for it though offering a discount on my next order…in that their customer service is impeccable and why I always keep coming back & recommending to all my friends. But this place reminds me why I don’t use over nights, and when I do, it will only be this place because they have my trust. If they did 1 hour deliveries in the Bay Area like they do in LA/Orange County I would literally buy from them every other day their product is so good!

I ordered on Monday evening, and was told that it would arrive on Tuesday by 3:30pm. 3:30pm comes and passes, and the delivery estimate is pushed out to 11pm. It is now past 11pm on Tuesday. I have called the delivery service, and my order apparently will not be here until tomorrow (again, the estimate is by 3:30pm.) I would not have complained if my order had arrived by 11pm today, because I consider it to be within the promised timeframe (Aka any time on Tuesday). But adding another day onto the delivery timeframe without advanced notice or notification is unacceptable. I expect to be refunded for shipping cost, because they are not following through on their promise. Skip the hassle and go buy directly from a dispensary. Don’t waste your time with this service.

705. Stoney has a great selection and offers generally quality products but every time I order it’s a toss up as to whether or not something goes wrong. They have failed to communicate when something wasn’t in stock even post-ordering several times. With this switch over to bitcoin, they failed to notify me that my credit card on delivery payment wasn’t possible until I called them after working from home all day to wait for the delivery. The change also makes something that was convenient less so. They didn’t honor a discount code once because it somehow got lost in their system that I used it (ended up giving me a few Stoney Bucks). It also seems they don’t meet their selling goals because any sale product (mainly vapes that have started to crystallize) is several months old which I know is a given for some but it certainly isnt worth the prices they sell it for. They’ve accidentally delivered my packages to my more conservative neighbor two doors down (luckily I recognized their door in the delivery feature so I could run over and grab it before any serious questions). I have brought up these concerns with representatives and am usually met with a simple “oh so and so who was on shift wasn’t doing their job.” They never know when things are coming back into stock and the app navigation is awful (needs much better sorting capabilities.)
