Swell is more out of my way then half a dozen dispensaries but I visited last week to take advantage of their daily special on some exotic strains and to cash in on the free new patient gram. Two things at Swell really stood out to me as compared to other dispensaries. First thing was how knowledgable my bud tender was. It was refreshing to ask about the majority of strains and to get a solid honest answer about each one from someone who had personal experience and actually knew the genetics of each strain. Second thing that really got my attention was how they seem to really genuinely care about their customers and the movement that they are apart of. A gem like this seems to be becoming more and more rare in this market boom and the development of big marijuana. I would strongly recommend swell to anyone looking for a solid dispensary on the west side.

Congratulations on employing people who further continue to promote an evil stigma about Cannabis. Maybe change the business to swell drugs for druggies cause that what your security gaurd thinks of your patients picking up their meds.

zero stars for this place on service and meds . looks ok but smokes like crap . also they will short you on shatter. the shatter is not weighted out in front of you . I have bought half grams and got home and its only .30 on a expensive scale thats dead on . swell is one of my favorite dispensaries, I love the flower just as much as the concentrates but I’m highly disappointed in the new concentrate containers… My wax was stuck to the bottom of it and I hardly got any of it out.
tried 3 locations many different flowers low to high grades all below average at best and the taste is horrid like mold or plant food or something. but the bud tenders, security and front desk all very nice. places are clean and very professional.

Swell is the best dispensary in the Phoenix metro area. The flower from their grow is better quality that anything that I have seen elsewhere in the valley. My only criticism would be that I would like to see more swell farms products on the shelves. Keep up the awesome work swell!!
My mother is a patient but I have volunteered to do the gritty legwork for her in finding her a “home” dispensary. A lot of variables come into the equation but the biggest sway for me is customer satisfaction. I’ve spent a lot of time scouring reviews on Leafly and the most consistently impressive business in her area appeared to be Swell again and again. Their constant specials and impressive menu aside, their customers just seem happy. So I took a chance last Thursday and drove my mom to Swell. The look in her eyes and her happiness and satisfaction that lasted for days was priceless and sold me immediately. The fact that days later (when they were closed Sunday) during out family dinner she was still talking about swell. Not even discouraged by your Sunday closure but excited for your Monday opener and all that it could entail. Swell you are magical and I appreciate all you do for your customers although I am not yet one. If Swell is this good for my mom I imagine others might like it too. Swell has become my number one recommendation in the Metro Phoenix Area.

Each batch of buds is different. Arizona lacks a centralized MMJ distribution system. Thus, when reviewing a strain, the review only fits the dispensary that sold that batch. That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it.
This review is for Swell Farmacy Green Candy-SF. SF- indicates grown by Swell. These buds are small, condensed, small-stemmed, and well matured. The mass appears small for the weight but is actually slightly over the as-sold weight. The color is slightly olive green and brown with good orange trichomes and modest white trichomes. Rolling is easy with good curing for moisture and stickiness. See Leafly for the flavor profiles and medicinal effects. Smoking is pleasant without harshness although the high amount of resins cause some tarring. Not a bad aEURoeproblemaEUR to have. This is a potent batch of a potent strain.
Overall, this batch of buds gets a 4.5 out of 5 on the OZ Satisfaction Scale (OSS) and a hearty recommendation to stock up your stash.

Curaleaf, fellas/ladies what are you doing??? The best part of Swell was the quality of buds, not strain specific but the quality of the buds that were grown, manicured and dispensed. It has been a few months and the quality has slipped. The buds are dense but dried/cured differently, they are becoming standard AZ dust buds in the grinder. O get it, the weather has changed and the air is very dry but this level of quality has never affected buds you are so famous for. I bought top shelf, I bought midshelf and I’ve never had these crispy buds. Please, please, please, please figure it out. I go out of my way to shop with you and I truly enjoy the people who work there and take care of us. DO BETTER!!!!! Thanks-og

I drive 45 min past four other dispensaries because this place is the best for quality, customer service and knowledge. They “get it”. There are only a few poor reviews that don’t even make sense considering my 100% positive experiences at swell. I can only imagine that poor reviews are fake fake from competitors of swell, which makes sense, since the other dispensaries I drive pass by on the way clearly don’t “get it”.

A bit hard to find but you’ll love what you see when you get there. All the meds smell and look fantastic! And by all I mean ALL! When I go to other dispensaries they usually have high grade, mid grade, etc. but here at AAA they have all the best meds. And the service is great, very professional and informative. I am leaving this review in hopes of reaching out to the team at swell and not as a review on the dispensary itself. I have been coming here for a couple months and I am in here multiple times a week. I have to say it has been great overall experience but my last 2 visits have left me with a sour attitude and nothing good to say about the product. I have picked up 5 strains recently… Skywalker OG, Blue Widow, Tangerine, Blue Truth, and Casey Jones. The Blue Widow and Casey Jones are good but the other 3 being on special were comparable to street weed. I litteraly saw one of the giant mason jars 1/4 of dust today… I hope the next time I come in that Swell Farmacy will not be pushing out sub par MMJ to their patients on special, I mean I consider the $60 I spent on the specials today a waste of my money honestly.

Hello. Review of concentrates from a concentrate connoisseur. First I’m thrilled to report that of 6 containers of concentrate that I have gotten there, all 6 were marginally heavy, up to 54mg (.054gr). I wish I could say the same for every dispensary I have purchased concentrate from. Buyers, be aware! The quality of the concentrates are very good, but are from trim runs, so expect accordingly small amounts of other plant fats in your concentrate. Returning this afternoon, to try some of the Super Silver Haze concentrate. The staff was knowledgeable and willing to take time to just aEUR~chat’ about medicine. Overall, this is a SWELL place to come for your concentrate.

Swell is the best for great quality buds that taste like heaven, great atmosphere, and positive and uplifting service from the awesome staff there. I give this 3 thumbs up! Yes, 3! If you find a strain that works for you here, buy at least one ounce of it. You never know when that strain will be available again. It’s nice to see all the new strains, but I know what strain works for me and I hardly see that strain at Swell anymore. All good things come to an end, I suppose.

I went here for the first time and overall the experience was great. The flower is the best I’ve had and the bud tenders were very nice. The only negative was the wait time but hopefully that changes when they move into the bigger building.

Awesome little place in the west. Knowledgeable bud tenders. The waiting room is a little cramped, but they get people in and out fast. Deli style, no space bags. Fire, clean tasting bud.
This dispensary is 10 miles out of my way, and quite frankly not worth it.
There are multiple dispensaries closer to me that have better deals and service.
$17 a gram is $5-$7 more expensive than my surrounding locations.

the bud is beautiful but I feel like they aren’t being honest about the thc ratio because it doesn’t effect me like other dispensaries medicine. and swells will sometimes taste like a chemical is used on several strains of thiers. stopped coming here because of that taste. they didn’t even honor my Ftp deal bout gram of wax went home to find only half a gram free

i dont really like the cramped quarters in the waiting area but i think they are planning upgrades. the free gram of katsu was fire but the quick glance at the rest didn’t peek my interest. i went in for a cartridge of the clear which was also fire. i saw some nice looking brown cake batter type wax and scooped a gram. it is some of the worst tasting concentrate I’ve ever had. I’m gonna try and decarb it and at least make a edible. I’ve been back for more clear but i think thats all ill buy from here

I’ve been here a few times, I like the flower, the deals, and the fact they have a gluten free brownie for my celiac ridden self…but all that is nothing compared to the way they treat people. There are many examples of their kindness I have witnessed, but what has struck me was the concern the entire staff expressed for a patient they found out is in the hospital. I saw a budtender give his number to a stranger just so he can be posted on the well being of a patient…not a friend or personal acquaintance. 5 stars isn’t enough to rate their top notch service.

Probably the worst dispensary I’ve been to hands down everyone is very very rude and the medicine is decent and that’s a far fetched statement .Ceaser G was my bud tender today he was super rude he dropped my flowers and picked them up and put them in my container anyways,he left two nugs on the scale that belonged to my half ounce and I saw him go out side as I left meeting someone for what looked to be him selling a female cannabis outside the dispensary with his gloves on .whats the point of gloves if you’re gonna come out and touch the street and cars and dirty stuff with it and then go back in and handle my medicine and skimp me and be rude I will never come back hopefully this is only the Youngtown location I have never been to any other Curaleaf/swells location

I’ve been to a few spot in the West Valley now (in need of that dY”Y=dY”Y=), and I have to say this is my favorite place so far. Aesthetically nothing special, but who cares cuz HANDS DOWN THE FRESHEST/BEST FLOWER. Bud in AZ is so dry I’m usually afraid to leave it unattended in my vape in fear of spontaneously combustion Michael Bay style, but Swell brought some humidity back in my life. I’ll be a repeat.

Best prices in town on flowers! $30 out the door on an eighth of almost always straight fire on the daily special. I have tried just about everything they have and my favorites are Kong & White Fire OG. The Purps is bueno too. The only ones I haven’t really liked are The Void & White Widow. My all time favorite was OG #18 but they stopped carrying it. Please bring it back!!!

let me just start by saying I used to go to multiple different places to get my meds, the only place I go now is swell. They treat you like a real person unlike most other places. Everyone just wants your money they don’t care if you are happy with what you got. Swell is the complete opposite. They take the time to answer any of your questions and help in any way they can. I have never had a problem when I go into swell, they are the best in the valley hands down. the donations are great, they have deal everyday of the week, the flower I awesome, the concentrates are awesome, the customer service Is the best. what more could I possible as for? I got my MMJ card last month and had been real upset with trying to find a dispensary who had employees who weren’t just trying to make a sale and rush me out the door. I’m no old fart, but I haven’t smoked regularly for about 15 years and wasn’t sure about flowers vs. concentrates and needed a little extra help understanding what goes where and how you do it. The guys over at Swell are outstanding in all they do and took the time to explain what everything was and what it all did. I think it’s really great that you guys care so much about your patients and I just want to thank you again for taking the time to explain things to me even though I was holding up the line. I love Swell Farmacy! It has an awesome crew that is very helpful and laid-back. I love that they do every thing deli style and bag it in front of you. Very cool! They have a great first time deal with a free gram. My favorite type I have had is the Gorilla Glue. It had a great kick to it and definitely is a great heavy hitter for people who like it strong.

Just found my new “home” dispensary. I have shopped around a lot, and the meds this place has are easily at the top. From flower to shatter, simply top notch. Free gram new patient special was awesome, as I was able to try out their “booger” strain. Went back the next day to get more, as the quality of smell taste and effect rate as among my favorite in the valley. All around great shop for those looking for consistent top shelf product.

Finally decent flower, deli style. Well thought out specials that allow you to pick up top shelf halves for $130 while sampling top shelf grams at $10. That’s with taxes. The quality of the bud marked SF is superior. It is somewhat cured compared to other vacuum packed garbage out there. Smaller, more laid back. I felt more at home immediately. They don’t rush you. You can’t beat smelling huge jars of nugs. I did not check weight. Mostly grams and they looked close enough if not over. Found my new place.

Stopped by a few days ago and got a few different strains (all of high quality and am very satisfied with). Selection has room for growth but I understand they are working at that. Atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly staff throughout. BIGGEST PLUS, (save the best for last) prerolls… maybe clippings quality, but if you just want to grab a quick stick to blast right away, 1 for $5., 2 for $9, and whatever the next breakdown was, I forget, but outstanding price and worth the stop!

Love any day I can make it in to swell. The deals are the best in town… I know everyone says that about one dispensary or another however I’ve lived from West glendale all the way across mesa chandler, Aj, San tan valley and queen creek, Prescotts yavapai, green Pharms up north. The deals are amazing. I love the rotation. The past 2 visits ive been in the area for apptointments and stop in after placing an online order. Usually I’m in 40 mins after placing the order. Both times there wasn’t an online order in the system even though I selected your location out west. I’m not upset at all. Everyone is very polite and apologetic. I got a pre roll for the mishap and because the buds were almost entirely shake I was given extra because of this. I don’t mind the shake! It’s gonna get ground up anyways. Thanks guys youre the best. I wish I lived closer and was able to become a part of the team.

Updated review: I had the worst experience here last time I came, none of the budtenders displayed any basic knowledge regarding any of the strains, and came at me in almost a suspicious way when I asked if I could pull up Leafly to look up some strains, and didn’t allow me to (other dispos do, so long as they know). Honestly, whoever is managing this location needs to rid themselves of 95% of their staff.. It all seems like random teenagers from Craigslist or Indeed that just like pot and are not medical patients, and show absolutely no knowledge about things like CBD, different conditions strains may help with, the different varieties of terpenes that each strain has a tendency towards.. extremely unimpressed. Take your business elsewhere.
First time patient and I have to say that the experience was a great one. The staff at Swell made this experience a good one. A free new patient gram, a free gram for the long wait, and a $30 1/8 of a super relaxing flower. Yesterday was the first time in a long time that I actually had a quality nights sleep, which is rare.

I went in as a fist time patient last week and was a little disappointed. The flower tasted like potting soil and i keep finding seeds in it. It was the Orange Wreck strain if that helps any. But other than that, the budtenders were awesome and the selection was great. Loved it, but only had the one problem with the flower.

My first visit at swell farmacy was awesome! My budtender was Adam and he did a great job. He knew exactly what kind of strains would be best for me and they worked perfect. The first strain i tried was passion queen and its definitely my new favorite it had me uplifted, energetic, I felt no depression and i made it through work with no nerve or back pain.next was green candy this strain hit i belive it was a sativa but it made me really tired this was better for coming home and winding down i felt like i had to smoke more of this strain to get the full effect though. Finally i had blue diesel. This was a nice strain also made me tired and very hungry. Depression and pain werent too bad with this one either. My final conclusion i will definitely be returning to swell Farmacy!! =)
It’s a nice little secluded place, security outside to keep you safe if anything goes wrong, the budtender definitely knew what he was talking about since we started talking about the ratios of THC diluted vape cartridges and non diluted ones, my budtender’s name is jared and he definitely hooked it up when he showed me the bruce banner, great looking strain and a great smoke! There was only one drawback to the place and it’s that it’s packed with patients because they’re so good.

I was in there the other day , been going every week since I found them. I could honestly right an emotional review just on how wonderful the staff is. I’ve been to about a dozen or so other shops, however this is the first place I feel compelled to acknowledge for truly just being full of goodness from the entering the door, the score, and so much more!. They’ve got great meds, prices; and the staff is even greater. The other day after helping me out with an item, I jokingly said to Chris something along the lines of ” its your place, you can do whatever you want; he looked at me and said ” No, this place belongs to you, the patients”. The coolest part is I could tell he meant it, he actually lifted my spirits on a day that I certainly needed it. The whole staff is awesome. just had to say thanks again to Chris.

Tried the Thin Mints and the Yoda Og and neither were impressive. Took a whole gram of each just to feel anything and then that wasn’t even very effective. Most meds I smoke only take 2 or 3 tokes to take effect. Arizona Dispensarys gotta step there game up or get out and let the patients have their rights back

This place is WACK. Their prerolls are kief and they advertise them as prerolls. Let me tell you, the first half of the prerolls the weed is in the air not in your mouth because the smoke can’t get past the over tight swaddle of RAW papers. Essentially you are smoking nothing the first half. It’s such a waste. I don’t recommend this dispensary to anyone. It’s awful.
Great place, great quality, great prices! Try the Booger, only they carry it in the valley. Best prices if you shop the sales. I drive 30 minutes to get to Swell, and it’s well worth it!!!

WOW!!! This is the best dispensary in Arizona. Youngtown location staff has always been phenomenal they really make me feel like I am a part of the swell family. I will never go to another dispensary. The quality of meds is unmatchable the flower and variety of their selection is the best around I have tried other dispensaries and have never left as satisfied as I do when I go to swell if you have never been to swell I have to ask you what the hell are you doing. Simply the greatest dispensary in Arizona. Period!

first time at swell. the only issue was how many people were there during closing. shows you that they have quality fire and a discount. I also like that they don’t turn people away close to closing. I had the opportunity to try Kong SF and Durban Poison my first time, both quality strains. I always make sure to send my people this way.
Best medication in this location. Prices are great and the potent buds are always worth it. The drive is worth it if you don’t live close by. Potent indicas!!

2nd visit to Swell. Helpful staff. Meds weighed in front of you….not bait/switch prepacks. Thin Mints was tasty and effective..8.5 IMO. Yoda was a disappointment but I’d go back for Mints. 🙂

I’ve been a patient at this spot since the Swell’s days. I still go back but it’s always busy. I figured the expansion project would be done by now because during prime times, it’s like the DMV up in that mofo. That’s because they have epic meds and pretty sick prices so that’s a good reason why. If you know the lineup, I strongly suggest the pickup process. Even then you’re not gonna smash and dash with the order, but it helps a lot with the checkout times. That’s the reason for the 4 star. Just kinda crowded in there. Otherwise classic 5.0 spot.

Same setup. But the flower here is not the same. Not the kind you wouldn’t smoke, but not the swell flower I remember. I was once a regular here. And havent been back in months I remember the ogs that smelled & hit like ogs, that bubba og, the Prometheus, the kong, gg4, purps, booger, cherry tang, all sf strains they havent had in awhile or they’ve lost the quality they had before when they are on the menu. idk what happened but if the bubbaog can make a comeback with the same quality as before alot of the old loyal customers would return and stay. At least I would.

Meds are great and you can’t beat the prices. Bud tenders were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll be making the 40 minute drive to do my twice-a-month med refill with these guys going forward. Not exactly a luxury experience, but who cares? It’s worth the trip to save $130+ an ounce!

I stopped in to this Swell location to take advantage of the special they were running that day. BOGO on select 1/8’s and the strains they were offering werent leftover stale bud, but some very dank flower. I walk out with with an 1/8 of DC OG which tested at near 26% THC and an 1/8 of Blackberry that just looked amazing. Get there asap so you can take advantage of all the great deals they are going to be running up to 420 🙂

Swell has great prices (much lower than the rest of the valley) and their product is outstanding. Their specials are never sub par. The budtenders know me by name, which is so welcoming. Great dispensary, stop by yesterday to check out the always great specials, and picked up some Jenny Kush. I suffer from insomnia and chronic back pain, really beyond pain actually, but Swell always hooks it up right. And as for Jenny, she did me right, I noticed a significant amount of pain relief, and I slept great last night. Thanks to all the budtenders at Swell, you all always have a positive attitude, with a smile on you faces, and you all are willing to answer any question thrown your way. Lastly I wanted to give a shout out to SF Green Candy, that shit is dope, keep up the good work guys.
I’ve been to swell twice now, and while the actual dispensary is small and a bit crowded, it’s totally worth it. Great budtenders, great prices and most importantly great quality cannabis. They are fast on their way to becoming my go to dispensary on the west side of town.

Swell Farmacy is one of the few places I’ll go to. I’ve been a patient in Oregon, California and Arizona and can tell you this is a quality dispensary. The medication is exactly how they describe it and always weighs out to the correct weight. Sometimes I need a different strain than I grow and Swell delivers. The prices are fair and tax is already included in the price which can’t be said about most AZ dispensaries. The location is smaller but you also don’t pay extra money because they threw a few Ikea items up on the walls. I read the review about the location being in an uncomfortable area and could not disagree more. I’ve spent 12 years in the military and now the personal security industry and can say I feel beyond safe at Swell. Always a positive experience.
First off let me say the people at swell are friendly and their flowers are some of my top favs.It has changed from when they first open the older guys were awsome and knowledgeable about everything I loved that,but they are never their now the younger staff is friendly but not knowledge about their concentrates .I dont really reccomend them unless its last resort.their crumble that was full nug run tasted awful with little effect.their shatter is trim wich has a tollerable taste is not too potent.my advice is hire new bud tenders based on they should have the knowledge a patient requires.also find better quality concentrates donations are reasonable compared to other dispensaries but the quality is considerably lower as well!

I’ve heard good things about Swell for years but don’t live near one so hadn’t had the chance to check it out. Well I finally got the chance today and this place is great!! Swell lives up to its reputation. They have a large selection of flower, which is what I came in for, and affordable prices. The flower all looked amazing. Clearly good quality and it tastes great. Service was good, my bud tender Michael was very kind and knowledgeable about their products. And they have a great new patient deal!!

Love swell but only the youngtown location, been going there for 4 years now definitely my favorite dispensary. Can’t beat their $5 pre-rolls and the specials they do for flower and concentrate are hard to beat. I smoke and consume A LOT of cannabis from chronic back pain and swell is the only dispensary I can go to and afford the amount I need. I tell everyone to check them out, MAKE YOURSELF SWELLTHY AND STOP ON IN.
They are helpful and knowledgeable. The only downside is the space and wait. Other than that would shop here again.

Sooo another swell visit. What i love about swell is they atleast make their top shelf affordable by choosing two strains and making them ten buck s flat per gram. In not wealthy so this is perfect for me i try to spend 20 a day for top shelf that never dissapoints me. Today was green candy and bruce banner. In a indica guy but a patient recommended i try the green candy too so i did 1 gram of each. Swell, how come you never admitted or even tried to save face when I mentioned powdery mildew on your punky lion?
You admit your dispensary doesn’t acknowledge testing in this state, so why is it suddenly you have two concentrates at 14% and 24%?
Did your dispensary specifically have this product sent out to a designated laboratory? Or are you just trusting the caregiver whom your purchased your stock from?
Did you know most GOOD quality, TOP-shelf CBD strains in California, Oregon and Colorado are lucky to have around 13-20% CBD, but suddenly little ole Swell sweeps the charts in Youngtown with 24%? LOL!
You guys have really been bamboozled by whoever you buy your supply from in this state.
