8. If you haven’t been to the Green Lady in east Olympia, you’re seriously missing out. I don’t go anywhere else unless this place is closed; they’re seriously that good. All of the budtenders are not only knowledgeable, genuinely helpful in your cannabis selections, and they also are friendly and have stellar personalities. My favorite is Erik; his knowledge astounds me when it comes to what weed I should pick, he’s upbeat, funny, and has incredible energy! I also love working with Donnie; what an awesome guy, always hooking us up and you can tell he loves what he does and it shows in how well this store is ran. All of the budtenders are great and they’re always having fun in here, listening to REALLY good music and making people smile/laugh/feel all fuzzy inside. Decorating this rad dad of a store is some truly amazing local artwork, stoner books, and and gnarly posters. All of this creates a really positive atmosphere, especially if you factor in their connected shop which sells some really amazing local glass and accessories (among other things)and a chill, artsy lounge and cannabis coffee shop (which has good Italian sodas too!). Oh and they hosted the BEST Halloween party evaaaaaa. Go to her… the Green Lady awaits!!!

23. I go for the coffee shop first and foremost but I love the bud tenders on the marijuana side are awesome! Nikki was great helping my friend pick out edibles yesterday. I seriously can’t say enough about the coffee shop though. The coffee is incredible, possibly the best drinks I’ve ever had with the added benefit of CBD. 5, 10, or 15mg options for each drink. It is worth a trip up to Olympia from Vancouver just to get a coffee.

25. Drove from an hour away to go here since they were the only place in the area that carried super low THC and high CBD strains. I docked a star from the Service because, since I was driving an hour away, I wanted to call and make SURE they still had the one strain I was going there for. I called 5 times and no one picked up, so I had to drive down there and just hope they had it.

    They DID have it however, and from what I saw they keep their menu on their website up to date, so that’s good to know! Went in and was asked for my ID, given a nice printed menu in a protective sleeve (like the ones used at restaurants) which looked very professional.

    You do have to wait in the waiting area before going into the back. I suppose since it’s a small space in the actual store part they only allow a small number to be back there at once. Someone comes out, the next person can go in. Right after I came in, a bunch of people came in at once, so the employee handed out numbered cards so people would know who got there first and could be served in order. The waiting area was nice with comfy armchairs, and they had music playing as well- and I could take another look over the menu while I waited.

    My wait wasn’t long at all though- less than 5 minutes. Another awesome thing- they take debit cards! No hassle of having to withdraw from an ATM! The lady who took and filled my order was very lovely and took a minute to chat with me about where else I can find similar strains and whatnot. The other place I went to they would take no time at all to talk to me, which was kind of frustrating. So I guess their system of only having so many people back at a time works well- gives the customers more one on one time with the employees without anyone feeling rushed. 🙂 Was in and out within 10 minutes!

    It may be an hour away, but if they keep the specialty high CBD low THC strains I will be back!

28. Dunno what the big rush was but I felt like I didn’t really get a chance to check out all the products and it seemed like I was a bit of an inconvenience. Drove over 50 miles all excited to see what they had to offer, for whatever reason, their website wouldn’t share their menu with me. After making my initial selection, 1 gram of nugs, I was already getting rung up and actually had to ask if I could continue to shop. After my second selection the same thing happened, I then lost my place at the counter that had all the goodies I wanted to see to the next customer that was in line behind me- I got the feeling that my time was up. Maybe it was the time of day but I doubt I’ll be back. I will say the BHO was top notch albeit a bit pricey at $30/.5g when it can be purchased for $22 a gram and it has the same THC content.

30. My friend bought flower Obama Cush on the recommendation of the sales person. So I trusted his word, bought 1/2 oz. For $40.
    I got home ready to relax and smoke, it tasted of dirt, no marijuana flavor, it was really awful AND it did nothing to .. Nothing at all. Not to mention…again, how awful it tasted.
    The next day I went back to the dispensary and spoke to the Manager.. I wasn’t rude, but did say the Obama Cush tasted terrible & did nothing whatsoever. I asked him to compensate me with a simple shelf preroll..he flat out refused, extremely rude, no customer service skills at all! It was insulting, and bad for business to treat customers like that. I wask thst this man be RETRAINED in customer service skills or demoted to stock boy. Or.. Green Lady can do the right thing and respect a regular paying customer by reimbursement.

Helpful, friendly, knowledgable staff that aren’t pushing old stock or the most expensive product they can. And the selection! If they don’t have it, they will shortly. Other stores should seriously up their game if they want to compete for my dollars, as this is the gold standard for me.

74. This is my second review of Green Lady East in Lacey , WA. Tara is as usual a fantastic bud tender and has an avid and enthusiastic approach to cannabis(just like myself!). If you want to talk terpenes, phenotypes, trichomes, growing conditions, strain specific edibles and what’s her personal fave on the market, then Tara is your gal ;). I am a former medical patient and grower and have extensive experience and knowledge about cannabis not only as a plant to grow and enjoy recreationally, but also as a naturalist who appreciates and has extensive experience with medicinal fungi and medicinal herbs, to appreciate and love it as medicine and a true panacea. If you want that same vibe you used to get from a medical shop, with tenders who know and love the plant on the same level, then green lady East and West are your facilities! I choose East as it is closer to my home and Tara and Erik are both my favorite employees to run into and chat with. I highly recommend this shop not only for my experienced cannabis friends/users but also for novices and those a bit squeamish about trying cannabis for the first time. They never disappoint. Current menu flower that I recommend at this location—- Cheesequake by TGA, Grape Ape(Artizen), white fire alien kush(raven grass) and cannalope kush.

I have been shopping at Green Lady Westside for over a year now, but I just started making the slightly longer drive from my apartment over to the Eastside store when I need to stock up on oil for the month, because of their larger selection. Last night I went in to take advantage of their 25% off Christmas sale, and Tara was awesome, super friendly even though we were there 30mins before closing and asking a ton of questions; she pulled a bunch of options off the shelves to help me pick out my 7 grams, and then even took $5 out of the tip jar for me when I was short (you all will be getting a big tip from me next month, promise!). What a lovely experience, always the best errand of the month, and last night was particularly great thanks to Tara. If you’re shopping for anything cannabis-related in Olympia, you’d be silly not to stop here. I also purchased my latest oil rig from their glass shop, and it is by far the most beautiful, structurally sound, and reasonably priced piece of local glass I’ve purchased in Olympia since moving here three years ago (and I’m clumsy and have pets, so I’ve broken an unfortunate amount of glass during that time). I can’t wait to give their espresso/CBD bar a try sometime!

98. Though unassuming from the street, this intimate Olympia, WA dispensary’s potent (or gentle) offerings pack a memorable punch. The Green Lady was the first cannabis stop on my road trip last weekend from Portland to Olympia and Lake Cushman, but proved to be a highlight destination in itself. I even brought my dad!

    Weekends and evenings (I was there on a summery Friday afternoon after the local college’s graduation ceremony) seem to draw small crowds, so expect a relatively short wait in the plush, doctor’s office-esque lounge. Be warned: This dispensary is cash only, but luckily, the Green Lady provides an ATM with a relatively inexpensive fee (something around $1.50, I think).

    After chilling for a bit with the friendly front-of-house staff, my father and I were ushered into the small, crowded retail area, impressively packed from floor-to-ceiling with a wide array of top-notch cannabis offerings. There seemed to be more tourists than locals. We were met at the counter by a knowledgeable and extremely personable attendant, who happily answered all of our questions with encyclopedic accuracy. My dad even got down-and-dirty with several salespeople about popular Thai marijuana strains of the ’60s and ’70s (adorable!).

    The Green Lady’s standout products (for me) include their selection of tinctures and pre-rolled joints in an astonishing variety of indicas, sativas, and exotic hybrids. (Their loose, packaged flower buds were great, too, if you’re into that.) The accessories selection was small but impressive, boasting a teeny-tiny, travel-sized aluminum grinder. However, because cannabis tourism is a thing of spontaneity, expect higher prices on accessories (like grinders, pipes, etc.) since so many folks (like me) forget the essentials. D’oh! One other thing: The edibles selection seemed limited, especially candies. I did get my hands on some very low-THC (5 mg) lozenges made locally in lemongrass and cinnamon, which were delightful.

    I will definitely be returning to this friendly, neighborhood dispensary the next time I find myself in Olympia, WA!

113. just visited my fav store and frankly fav place to go in Olympia, WA, Green Lady East on Pacific Ave SE. They are the friendliest, most sincere, and best informed Budtender’s in the PNW! I’ve smoked weed since 1970 and I have learned more from them in the last few months than I have ever learned. In the beginning my knowledge consisted of knowing the basic differences between Sativa and Indica, and with their expertise and real interest in what I am looking for my knowledge now consists of the best strains for expanding my creativity as well as my medical understanding. So instead of just saying I want a Sativa, they ask me much further what I am hoping to accomplish. Enhance my music, writing, mood, etc. And what I really like is they know me so well that when I come in they never hesitate to suggest new strains “I should try.” It’s a real utopia of fun and knowledge. The selection of all things smokable is top notch, at a reasonable price. What sets them apart, however, is the lounge area with a phenomenal CBD espresso bar. What an ingenious concept. This is the perfect place to start your day with a drink that is sure to get you going and help you feel lively and energetic, or to cap your day off with a cup of warmth and relaxation while taking in the entertainment or playing a game of Clue. (Yes, they have board games! I know, right?) Donnie has been the friendly face that keeps me coming back, even though I have to hear about his Denver Broncos each time! 142. Green Lady Marijuana is the best shop in East Olympia, and possibly the best in the area. They offer a lot more than just marijuana in it’s varied forms, they recently opened up the back of the building with a cafe and a small stage, and the service from the tenders is The best in town.
     Ashley, in particular, excels at helping people find what they truly need, even if it isn’t what they think they want. I have been smoking and analyzing the best strains available for many years and have a very clear idea of what I like and which growers/producers best provide that with their product. When I told Ashley that one of my favorite flowers ever is Golden Pineapple from Phat Panda and that I really don’t expect to match that when I buy anything else, she told me that the Marley Naturals Golden Pineapple is better. I was immediately skeptical, but decided to trust her and try it. I now have a new favorite producer of my favorite strain. Ashley’s natural gift for helping people is not limited to finding the best product for you in her shop, though. In brief conversation during my last two visits she also helped me find a great deal on prescription lenses and showed me a new stretch that keeps my injured lower back from binding up.
     I highly recommend visiting Green Lady Marijuana on the East side next time you need something good, and if you are fortunate enough to be taken care of by Ashley you’ll see no reason to go anywhere else.

He informed my husbands and I it was a friends company and if that is how you train your employees to sell products that is a terrible way to do business. 180. Was not friendly, was not helpful. Any questions you have they roll your eyes and then give some convoluted answer which just is NOT TRUE. These people insist THC is good for the nausea and pain of Cancer and it’s treatments when Cannabis #101 teaches you that it is in fact the CBD Count! Their business cards, leaflets, advertisements and signage all say “Holistic Health” and yet when you ask, The purple haired girl at the counter will insist with an attitude, “We have no health basis nor illness management basis here, gah”. The girl behind the counter did not listen to me when I said I do not use glass tanks, that I use disposable ones. She still sold me a Refill cartridge and assured me it was “all good” as she kept repeating over and over. I drove 10 miles for this by the way.. Got home and found out of course no, it was not “all good”.. I had to drive 10 miles a second time.. She then took out a glass tank which i said once more, I do not use and that I wanted to give the oil cartridge back. “No refunds” she said. Dropped the glass tank on the floor after trying to unscrew the BOTTOM which was supposed to be LEFT ALONE as that is what seals the tank off and connects to the battery to produce heat. She then dropped it on the floor, as well as the mouthpiece.. Insisted “No I didn’t drop it”.. lying to my face, and again insisted “It’s all good.” It was still, not at all good.. Once again I find out it STILL won’t work! I told her I didn’t want it in the first place she insisted it was fine and it would work, it did not.. I poured a $45 dollar refill of oil into this busted tank.. so now keep in mind I have no usable oil. So for a THIRD TIME I had to drive 10 miles, now I am out of gas and I have to go to Cancer treatments some how.. The third time, I was assured by the manager on the facebook website that I would get a REFUND!.. So I go in for my refund and what do I hear? “No refunds!” she hastily handed me ANOTHER GLASS TANK!!.. and makes sure myself and my mother with stage 4 cancer are RUSHED out the door really faster than either of us can move in our health. Not to mention as soon as we got out of the car, the rather uncomfortable gentlemen you have “mad dogging” your door exclaimed, “Come on, hurry up ladies!!” As if he expected 2 people with varying stages of Cancer on Chemo therapy were going to be sprint runners. I recommend NOBODY goes to this place as it is much more of a back alley drug dealer than an actual place of reputable business. Stick with 420 Carpenter where everyone is friendly, happy to help, actually KNOWS what they’re doing, and will even get to know you as a person and make you feel welcome and much like family. So to be clear, 3 trips each totaling in 10 miles for 2 people with varying stages of cancer, poor customer relations, shady dealings, and the prices really aren’t that competitive at all anyway. Trust me, 420 Carpenter is WAY BETTER. The Green Lady just hires stoner children with bad dye jobs to muck up the place. Not to mention you can smell that the marijuana is actually being smoked on the premises somewhere.. You can smell smoke, not just weed. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Small array of edibles. — Pricing seemed very fair and similar to competition with $15 being the average priced gram of flower. — A bit small, unique presentation, great product. I will return and recommend!

193. This is a great recreational shop! It’s clean, has a good selection and prices are now close to what the medical dispensaries are! The Green Lady was one of the first recreational stores to open in Olympia and they’ve been open and stocked every day since. Every bud-tender I’ve encountered there has always been friendly and helpful.

A bit frustrating to come into the dispensary, ask for a product that they say they still have in stock, be told they don’t have it by one bud tender, then be told they do have it by another bud tender. This has happened twice. I look like a jerk if I question their report of product availability, and I leave unsatisfied if I don’t. I also don’t much like the layout of the new facility. Not being able to see some of the product/pricing that is located behind the counter is a bummer. This leaves you totally reliant on an inaccurate menu from online or a budtender who may or may not know what they have in their inventory. Not a terrible experience by any means, but also not a very satisfying weed shopping experience.

The store has gone through many positive changes since my first visit, when they recently stopped carrying my favorite cartridge Peyton’s knowledge about all the possible options was overwhelming, but she asked questions to help ME understand what it is what I was looking for. So thankful for a space that offers helpful information with out the snobby culture.
