1. This has become my go to store, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to, always so helpful in making great selections! The door checker is usually a friendly puppy who I just want to hug everytime im in!

   If you are in the Seattle, University District, this is where you want to go period. Parking is ample, easy, location is fabulous and the selection and prices are perfect! Impressive variety of flowers, edibles, and accessories.

   Even as seasoned dispensary regular, and a long time consumer, I have never seen so many different marijuana products in one store. Upon entering, staff will always check your ID. While browsing their wide selection, you enter a queue, and wait for the next available bud tender. They do seem to get busy, but the wait is usually only a couple minutes. Our bud tender was very friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to make suggestions. Prices are always very affordable, this really is as good as it gets!

5. Extremely convenient location if you’re in the U-District, near University of Washington. My wife suggested I go down here for onceaEUR”I frequent another location usuallyaEUR”but I’m happy I went. Staff was very knowledgeable, and made me at ease in choosing the edibles I purchased. There are certain stores in the area that often do not have staff that fully know their stuff. THIS PLACE is not one of those places. Fantastic location, and will be back for more. 6. The Joint is a pretty swell place. The folks here are friendly and informative, and there’s some quality stuff for all price ranges. Plus they’re by a Subway which is a plus as well if you’re into that kind of thing.

Super friendly service, relaxed atmosphere (no pressure or judgement, like I’ve experienced at other dispensaries), AMAZING deals on flower & pre-rolls, a student discount & check-in discount, and sometimes they even have DOGS! I rave about this place all the time. Go here.

13. I’m pretty new to the world of legalization so take this for what it’s worth but this place is awesome. My first few visits to other dispensaries were less than inviting and actually stressed me out a bit. The Joint was inviting and friendly with super knowledgeable staff. Thanks!

26. I liked this location. Parking, convenient to University of Washington, solid menu selection. I really liked that it was open until 11:45pm! Picked up a Hybrid G-Stick that hit hard.

32. This place is AMAZING!!! So happy they finally started selling weed. It’s an easy in and out location with parking and lots to choose from as far as brands. Their prices are good, especially if you pay attention to their daily deals. Sunday Funday is my favorite 🙂

36. they don’t honor their cartridge exchange policy. I had finally had a cartridge go out on me after a week and their was still a quarter full. when I tried to exchange it, I was told that I had consumed too much of it and they would not be able to exchange or give me any credit towards a new one. I paid for a full cartridge and did not receive it. why do you have a 2 week exchange policy if you don’t honor it? I won’t be coming back again

42. The fact that this store has 4.8/5 stars when compared to other businesses in Seattle says something about the people who are reviewing this place.

    Don’t get me wrong, but I don’t think it makes sense for every store to be 5 stars because they sold you weed and it’s right down the street. It seems the reviewing consumers of this establishment are probably denizens of U District with limited traveling capability / insight on this sort of business as a whole.

    This is not my preferred store, despite being the closest one to me.
    My main issue here is the prices. They’re jacked up a considerable amount. For an eighth you’d pay $45 for here, you can get the same one for $36 a few minutes down the road. Same strain, same grower/company, etc. This alone is why I don’t shop here and choose to go to other stores.

    If The Joint matched competitor’s prices, the convenience of this location by UW makes it ideal to do business with for me, yet I’m continually unimpressed by the selections.

    Let’s move on to the quality and product selection. As expected, weed store has weed store products.

    You’ll find the typical array of flower, concentrates, edibles, drinks, cartridges, possibly some topicals/tinctures/etc. that has become standard across dispensaries, whatever.
    I don’t like how many labels I read of prerolls or flower that included pesticides from most of the companies that sell product here.

    The service is excellent, the employees and what I presume to be owner are friendly and helpful. But that’s industry standard to have good service in businesses featuring cashiers. However, I feel confident enough the crew here would go above and beyond to answer your questions or cater your reasonable requests. I do not like having to turn my driver’s license in while in the store, but it is their insurance policy against people grabbing weed and running out of the store with it.
    The atmosphere is average. Not alot of character in this store, not alot is wanted or needed really. The large “The Joint” sign is the biggest aesthetic the store has, and that’s all good.

    Overall, not the best store because the prices. You are paying for Seattle minimum wage and the convenience of location and state tax on the product sales, so at least by shopping here you’re contributing to society.

    It’s not a bad store, but probably doesn’t really need to improve anything they’re doing because business seems like it won’t be stopping any time soon, given there’s a self replenishing market of university students nearby whose pockets are rife with their parents’ foreign money to bank on.

    The world keeps turning anyway

    I’d shop here again, but only if I don’t feel like risking losing my parking spot in front of my apartment to go to a more preferable establishment.

46. I go here to get my oil cartridges. They always have a great selection for any budget.
    If you’re lucky you’ll meet “Lentil”, their little doggy mascot, or get in on one of their daily deals.
    The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable.
    I would suggest this place to anyone looking for quality and great customer service.
