First there are few 25.00 eights of weed.Grams are around 10.00 and up.I was very disappointed today with my purchase from The Gallery today.I purchased an eighth of Orange Kush and after two bowls nothing at all.I tried my vape pen,my pipe,my water bong,and bamboo pipe.Nothing!I do not mind paying for quality but this sucks!Then I turned over the package and saw this was packaged in August of 2015.Did it stay on the shelf too long?Bummer!

2. From my first time to my latest, this place is” DA BOMB,” !! Love,love,love everything about it !! The only thing that would make it better is, if they were right next door and I could just holler thru the fence or they did delivery’s. Thank You for making me feel safe and respected !

24. Love this store! What can I say but the staff is always cheerful and very knowledgeable. Arial and Lauren are my favorite Budtenders and always point me in the right direction for my needs. Store is always clean and well stocked, parking could use some improvement since I have a larger full-size truck.

30. First let me start by saying I am a teacher and this store is no where near my home because I don’t want to find out how “understanding” parents, teachers, principals would be seeing me leaving a dispensary, no matter HOW legal it is.
    I initially was using the “Spanaway” Gallery, but began using the “Tacoma” Gallery because it was closer to me.
    All experiences up to the final one I just had this past Tuesday have been good, but hey, when you’re spending 100 bucks per visit (not a lot to the boss, but a lot from my meager pockets) people are going to be nice….
    But you find out about customer service when you’re RETURNING an item and NOT when you’re spending the money.
    I purchased a 1 gram oil cartridge from Delta Vape Refill (Pineapple Express) on Monday, the 24th. I chose this one because it’s one of the very few 1 gram cartridges for a reasonable price (40 bucks).
    Well I opened it, tried it, and it sucked right off the bat! It leaked, and also gave me a light, barely existent vape. No worries, I have my receipt, my original packaging and although it is a long drive back, I head back the very next day to “return/exchange for the same or similar product,” as it says on the receipt.
    I walk in, the ID checker says, “oh you have a problem with the cartridge? They’ll take care of you.” Awesome.
    Walk in with my stuff, tell my story and the first thing I hear is, “Don’t take anything out of the bag, and where’s your receipt?” Weird greeting, like I’m a criminal. Never felt like that when I’m buying product…okaaaay. I do as I’m told, we walk outside in front of the building to have her attempt to fix my vape. Again, weird..why are we outside of the business, looking shady, when I’m simply here to return this product with all the proper documentation? She pokes into the vape line, attaches it to her battery then I take a puff. It works fine, except the other issue was the cartridge had also been leaking. I say to her, so if it continues to leak and I have to come back AGAIN, will you then take this back? She goes in and gets the receipt and says yes, but by that time, I’m thinking, why the HELL would I come back to this place, drive all the way BACK out here to feel like I’m trying to pull one over on the gallery, when I simply want a working product that I paid for, or a different cartridge?
    Very long story short? The cartridge still leaks (losing money), still sucks (don’t buy Delta vape products, you’ll be sorry), and I’m left saying heeell no I’m not driving out there again. I’ll just find a different dispensary.
    Up to this point all had been well, and upon attempting to return a product (never have before) all was not well.

31. This place is great! I like how spacious it is, there is tons of stuff on their wall, you just tell them what you’re looking for and they’ll find it! They never make me feel like a bother for looking at stuff I don’t wanna buy yet either. Keep it up Gallery, I’ll be back.

40. this is my second visit here.. HAD to come back and check out the glass!! they had a couple strains I wanted to try, on their online menu(on leafly). they had all but one in stock! the sales woman(didn’t catch her name) was EXCELLENT!! She took her time(and probably nearly all her patience!! lol). with me, as I perused the menu.. she was probably the most knowledgeable/helpful sales people I’ve had at any of the rec shops, to date! she made a couple recommendations on strains, one of which is one of my new favorites!! I’ve got a HUGE tolerance, and its rare I find a strain that puts a perma grin on my face for HOURS!! she recommended Dutch Hawaiian og…. absolutely KILLER hybrid!!!(total ear to ear perma grin bud!!). I will definitely be back! I highly recommend this place to everyone!! absolutely top notch!!

44. If you’re new to the are like I am, try this place out! I have been there 4 times in as many weeks- the staff is friendly and quite knowledgeable, usually with great recommendations. The flowers can be just a bit dry (some harvest dates were 6+ months old), but overall quite a nice variety and mix of strains, quality, and prices. In fact, there’s a price for everyone ($10 grams yay!). Oh and in case you didn’t know, tax is INCLUDED in the prices you see on Leafly- making it a fantastic deal. Support your local shop! ;~P

61. I work for a local 502 producer/processor and I’ve been around the block quite a few times when it comes to recreational cannabis shops. The Gallery is always the place I recommend to my out of state friends when they want to experience “weed shopping” because the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, plus the setup isn’t intimidating to the beginner. The pricing is reasonable, and they always stock quality product.

    Bottom line: you’ll spend a little more for product here than at other places, but the quality makes all the difference.

73. The Gallery, most notably their Parkland location, is a warm, welcoming, and wonderful place for all your 420 needs. Be it bud, joints, edibles, dabs, topicals, glass, and accessories, they have a wide range of goods to choose from. The place is always squeaky clean and lined with beautiful pieces of photography to look at. Lines are never too long and their budtenders are always very knowledgable about their products.

    The only issue I take with the Gallery and its locations, as well as other locations surrounding the area, is their lack of Lavender strain in their stores. It’s my favorite strain and the favorite strain of my friends. It’s very hard to find Lavender and I often have to travel to Thurston County to get my fix. Other than that, they are always wonderful to do business with and that keeps me coming back.

77. This place is like my secondary home and that’s totally fine with me because it always smells wonderful! I like trying out the latest and greatest with weed and I always go here because they frequently carry new strains and products! I would definitely recommend this place to weed snobs. And their entire menu is online I would suggest you read it to understand the entirety of what they offer because it’s truly impressive!

79. I’ve been to a handful of shops in Pierce Co and have had pretty much the same experience in all of them. Someone sits in an entryway alcove checking IDs. I have had my ID checked every single time despite the fact that I’m in my 40s. This doesn’t bother me in the least as I figure rules are rules and they are just following them. I am prepared now whenever I go into a shop and just have my ID handy. The budtenders have been helpful everywhere I’ve gone; answering questions and making suggestions when I ask for them. This is the first place the folks behind the counter actually ‘spoke my language’ and made good suggestions! The first time I was turned onto a strain that turned out to be exactly what I was looking for and did everything the tender told me it would. It’s one of my two favorite strains. My second favorite came from my second visit here. Different tender, but same great listening skills and she turned me on to a second strain to blend with the first. Now despite what’s going on in my life I can quickly become ‘the happiest person on the planet’ and still be energized and not couch-locked. I look forward to more visits and to what other new favorites they introduce me to. The only suggestion I have at all is to have someone knowledgeable available for the head-shop portion. The Tenders are busy doing what they do. It would be great if during my pre-purchase stroll through their goods there was someone available to see if I have any questions and talk about some of what they have.

80. I’ve been a regular for a few months now and I have noticed that the THC that they advertise online and in there books is not the same percentage is what on the package. I called the store and they said it was advertised for the 1 gram only. A 5% difference is a big difference from what your advertising. I call that false advertisement. I’m tired of expecting a higher THC and I’m not getting what I paid for.

82. What can I say about the Gallery Tacoma that hasn’t already been said? The location is large, but very empty, almost cavernously, since they’ve opened a separate section to sell all of their glassware. The budtenders are friendly, but the one I worked with last was generally clueless. The prices are decent for flower and edibles, but pretty steep for cartridges. The biggest issue, though, is that I dropped almost $200 on weed and weed related edibles, and it’s all just crap.

    Their signature Dutchberry, while recently harvested for me, is completely lackluster. The Banana Kush, grown by Antoine Farms, doesn’t deserve the Tommy Chong branding they’ve given it. The Thai Girl Juju Joint that the budtender recommended as “one of the best strains out there” works just fine – it just, doesn’t get you high. So far, the only thing I’ve had from here from my most recent visit (12/9/16) that’s at all decent is the root beer flavored hard candies from Uncle Roaner’s Alchemy, which is actually not what was advertised at all.

    And that glassware that they’ve moved to their new section? Hideously overpriced. Hideously. $30+ for a simple spoon, $150+ for a 2 chamber tree perc bong. Oh, and because it had snowed the day before, or perhaps because the building is old and crappy, there were buckets all over the floor to collect water from the leaking roof, and it was cold and drafty inside.

    All that being said, if you want to buy good glass, from local artists, at reasonable prices, go to a head shop. And, if you want to buy good weed, go somewhere other than the Gallery Tacoma. Because, while the budtenders are friendly, they’ll tell you anything you want to hear.

84. I came here (apprehensively if I’m honest) on my husbands (who does not partake…) suggestion. The advice payed off as soon as I walked in. First of all it’s beautiful, open, with a very relaxed and friendly ambiance. The staff is as a whole, professional, knowledgeable, patient, and everyone I’ve met is sincerely nice. Amazing selection of products to choose from, you have to either stay all day or visit more than once to really get a grasp on all the variety that’s offered. Visit, bring a friend, you’ll want to come back.

    Ps. All the security is not only extremely nice, but personable and helpful and considerate. I only add this because some places have those positions staffed with people who aren’t so conscientious or objective.

85. Everything is great but…..the checking of ID of someone 50 (as one reviewer commented) is not a good thing. Instead it is ridiculous and inconvenient to older adults. Seriously, you check everyone equally and that’s a good thing?

    C’mon, that’s just showing you don’t trust your people. It doesn’t take a wizard to see someone is over 21 when they are in their 50’s or 60’s. Basically you check ID even if someone is 85? Get real please.

89. Outstanding! The best shop I’ve visited in WA. Feels like you’re walking into an art gallery, hence the name. All their glass is beautifully displayed, you can browse without any sales pressure. Their budtenders are knowledgeable and friendly. Their prices are very competitive with other local shops. And if you’re a military veteran, 10% off! Make sure to check in on the tablet on your way out. 10 visits earns you a 20% discount on anything in the store!

I’ve used the Gallery since it opened, and recently they have again become my go-to place as they are not as busy as many shops, have competitive pricing more often, and the same excellent selection they always had. But they now don’t seem to run out so often as in the past, and have a more stable daily selection to go along with their excellent knowledge of their product.
    5 stars overall as the 4 is because I really don’t care at all about decorations, art, etc. in a pot shop.

94. Overall it’s a great store. My only bad experience was getting an Indica banana flavored Delta 9 Cartridge that leaked all over the place. I was able to exchange it but they didn’t have any of the indica left and they gave me a pineapple flavored stativa to take its place. I understand that there are legal complexities and through poor timing, they were out of stock, but I’m really disappointed. I’ve been a regular for about a year and a half and this was my only bad experience. It shouldn’t mean much but it ruined my night. I’ll be back next week though as usual. Hopefully I don’t experience this again.

97. The employees are professional, *well-trained* and knowledgeable about their selections, and don’t appear to be completely baked… which is weird for a pot shop but I’m sure great for business. I like the space available and their floor plan for displaying merchandise. It creates a flow unlike any other store I’ve been to. Great pipes and bongs selections as well as accessories for carrying such stuff… Like smell-proof containers and bags and such. Check it out if you have nothing to do. No one will look at you funny when you come out 🙂

99. Having grown up during a time when weed wasn’t socially acceptable, I am usually timid when it comes to buying weed in public. The gallery’s staff have been so helpful to me that I go in all the time now and ask all the questions I need to. They are always happy to answer all of my questions and usually recommend me to strains that I find most beneficial to my tastes.

     1. You are the closest to where I live.

     2. Everyone that works there is great and does an excellent job.
