2. I’ve been to a few dispensaries in this area but always come back to West Seattle Marijuana! The prices are great and affordable, and the staff is awesome, they’re very welcoming, and they know their stuff! I’ve been to a few other shops in the area but I ended up sticking to West Seattle Marijuana!

Since the transition from medical to recreational, I’ve found far fewer bud tenders are willing to take the time to explain products or show you a variety of what you’re looking for specifically and the staff here do just that. Even before I said it was my first visit, I was impressed. Heading back there now!

8. There are several pot shops in the area…but I’m definitely loyal to this one. It is well organized, great temperature and competitive prices. The staff is friendly and somewhat polished. They don’t convey that typical stoner burnout vibe I get at other shops. From the road, looks are deceiving…much larger and nice inside!

11. Came to the west Seattle marijuana store today to try out a new strain that we’d never heard of. Ended up spending much more time than planned browsing over their extensive concentrate selection. Our budtender Will Nelson was extremely patient and very knowledgeable for us while we picked and chose our dabbing desires. Look forward to coming back and seeing Will again!

It was such a great experience shopping here for my first time. all of the staff were outgoing, very kind, the obviously wanted to make sure to help me choose exactly the right strains to meet my needs. They are very knowledgeable and have really good insight. My only criticism would be that the tags for the flower case all the way to the right were a little difficult to read at first and would have liked them to have a little more information about the percentages ie. sativa/indica/overall THC.
    I loved my experience here and the staff are definitely people who I’d probably be hanging out with outside of shopping around in the store. The guy at the door was really cute.

13. The location isn’t very convenient for me, but it’s not a long haul either. Inside, it’s a clean space and I liked the layout. The price point on concentrates will definitely have me returning; this is a great shop for the budget-conscious.

16. update. This stands as my favorite dispensary thus far. Yes I noticed prices inclined quite a bit for what I like to purchase, but I also noticed the potency has increased as well. My favorite thing about this place are the employees. They know so much- breaking it down to the literal science. For example, Cody blew my mind today with all his knowledge. This place doesn’t have your stoned “hehe this is fire bro” vibe. They are educated,
    clear minded, and are there to make sure you get what you are looking for. I love this place. Great vibes!

19. I have a written a review before, and I still love this place, and consider it to be one of my top favorites. Last week, I had trouble with a tanker I had purchased and they did everything they legally could to help me, and I appreciated it so much! Then, they showed me these pre filled cartridges that tasted amazing, the strain was PERFECT, and they also recommended a few other strains and flavors, and due to it being 420- I called them and asked if they had the other strains and flavors and they did and would hold it for me, for a few hours. Then, I got there- and the ID guy checked my ID and was sooo professional and said “my name- your cartridges are right through the door and so & so will have them” I was in & out within 5 minutes! Once again, this place continues to offer exceptional service, have great product and prices! Oh and BTW- this particular cartridge was not on sale and it was 38$- at other nearby west seattle shops I frequent- the EXACT same brand and product is 42$…… thanks again! And hope everyone had a fun & safe 420!!!!!

33. I live near by and had been going to the other shops down the street. I always came from the other direction and didn’t know this place was here. I took a different route home and thought I would try it out. It is SO much nicer than the other shops down the street. The place was clean, sharp and the staff was friendly and engaging. It’s absolutely on par with other shops I had been too in Seattle. I’m glad to know I have a top tier shop so close to home. I have no need to go to any other local shop again. 39. This store is great. I frequently travel throughout the greater Seattle area for work and have ventured into this store quite a few times. There’s only 1 other store that competes with these guys in terms of deals, service, and quality.

    They’re incredibly efficient in getting through lines and their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and can provide you the most bang for your buck. They always have great attitudes and every time I’ve been there I’ve had great experiences.

    From their prices to the quality, you don’t get much better service, deals, and strains. I highly recommend you check them out if you’re near the area.

48. They’re in kind of the White Center part of West Seattle. A few miles north of 150th and 1st Avenue. Small store but with quite nice variety and prices are all generally less than Seattle Rec stores.

50. This place is becoming my go-to rec store. The employees are always fantastic and willing to spend time with each customer. The selection is pretty wide with flower a low as $7/g along with a decent top shelf selection. I usually stick with flower but their concentrate and edibles selection seems to be pretty good. Overall, an excellent customer experience. I would highly recommend.

As I’ve been screwed over by a couple other legal shops now I’m always skeptical as to what type of experience i’m going to have. I was pleasantly surprised, they had a friendly highly knowledgeable staff which really means a lot to us that were patients. I will likely be going here most of the time from here on out. The fact that they had lower prices certain oils was a big bonus and why I initially came in for a visit. You won my business guys.

I have been going here for the last 6 months, I purchased 28 grams for $160.00, when i get home i weighed it as i always do, and it weighed 22 grams I immediately call, the worker who answered basically blew me off it was a vendor problem, but i asked what about me, am i suppose to bring a scale with me everytime, and he blew me off. I asked to speak to a manager who he said was not there. asked if he wanted my number he said I guess if he needs to call you. WOW. so I wait an hour and call back, said he was busy, another hour I call back he is still busy but will call when they don’t have so many customers. WOW, what am I. 2 days later still no call. I have been here many times with no problem everyone was helpful, my favorite local store, I was offered no refund or anything, this employee was offered no resolution. I get this for my 80 year old mom who i take care of for medicine, she is on a limited budget, as I am. I will go today to see if anyone will help me resolve this.

77. This place is great. It was one of the first rec shops I visited in Seattle, and continues to be one of my favorites. It’s a cozy little shop that you can pop in and out of fairly easily, with pull up parking. The product display is great, and the store layout itself is very comfortable as one side is for concentrates/edibles, etc, and the other is for flower.
    The staff has always been awesome here.
    I do wish that this shop had a little more diversity on their flower products (both in terms of strains and the farms that are providing it) or perhaps a punch card of some sort, though I would still definitely recommend this place to a friend, and will certainly shop here again. I look forward to seeing this place prosper. 🙂

82. First time visit and I called ahead to make sure they had what I was looking for. Came in the next day and asked for a particular strain, he picked out 2, paid cause it was busy and could not really read it, came home and happen to look it up on leafy. It was not what I asked for. Being a newer smoker and a 1st time visit, I would expect these guys to have it down perfectly what’s what. Of course, they chose not to do anything. I understand you cannot exchange, but could have offered a discount or something to get me what I wanted. Unfortunately I cannot even use what I purchased. WILL NEVER RETURN.

83. I usually go to their other store by my house (Issaquah Cannabis), but I’ve been hearing about this store from the staff so I decided to check it out. It’s smaller and the atmosphere is definitely different than Issaquah (much closer to other shops I’ve seen in Seattle) but that’s probably a good thing. It was nice to see a familiar face (Ken I think?), and they were carrying two of my favorite growers (Panda and Top Shelf). The selection wasn’t quite as big as you get in Issaquah, but I’m sure that will change after they have been open for a while longer. The services was as good as you get in Issaquah and the prices are great, so if I lived in the area this would definitely become my favorite place. I’ll definitely be back!

85. A little small, but a friendly knowledgable staff, and nearly unbeatable prices. Only one other place in town can even compete with these prices, but this place just feels a little more down to earth. I’m literally driving there from bellevue just for their product and service.

86. This was my first visit at this store, and it was an overall good experience. I work in the industry and your employee Will was extremely friendly and helpful. He was also knowledgeable about strains I did not know about. Another thing that was good about Will was his patience, we all took our time looking at the stains and not one time did I feel rushed or like I needed to be in a hurry. 99. I came in and started looking around as usual. This store has a great selection of cannabis products as well as accessories. Probably the best shop I’ve seen in that regard.

    The budtender seemed a tad pretentious, though. Which is unfortunate since they have good products. I was talking to him about a specific strain and I told him I’ve always found it as a “B” strain. He went into a small rant about how it’s all about the farm it comes from, etc. I’m already aware of all this and I’ve had it from many different growers.

    After that he says that he knows what he’s talking about, and how he better since he has a THC tattoo. This sentence alone was so obnoxious that I just bought the gram and left. Guess what – it was mediocre. There’s a reason it mostly gets used as a stabilizing strain during breeding.

    Anyway, the attitude ruined the store for me. I’ll definitely not be coming back.

100. I’ve been to a number of the rec shops around Seattle and this one definitely resinates (sic) with me.
     Straightforward, no glitz. Very nice visual display of flower at the entry or a print menu for those who prefer. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that are ready to help when you’re ready but not before. They have plenty of top shelf, spendy buds, but are always quick to offer value priced products or to suggest new strains or growers. Easy to access, always plenty of parking.

102. I am an avid consumer and sampler of various strained and vendors, I am seasoned in all kinds of service and product. I’ve been to the weirdest, barely-legal shops when medical was legalized to the modern, bright and organized recreational establishments. So I had an open mind when I went to the West Seattle Weed Store.

     I was immediately stoked with the cleanliness and layout. They have a case of all available strains organized as such: left-to-right is hybrid to indica, top-to-bottom indicates price point. Very slick and easy to select. Next to this is a counter displaying prerolls, behind all the stock.

     I was momentarily confused by the edibles, oils, extracts, waxes and more at a separate, equally clean and pretty, counter. You have to pay separately if you want, say, a weed soda add and 8th of flower. Just a minor bother, really!

     The best part were the staff. My first time there, a friendly budtender named Ken greeted me right away and proceeded to make wonderful suggestions based on my requests and feedback. I ended up (happily) spending more than initially planned because I was excited to try the new strains recommended to me.

     I was kind of sad I couldn’t tip Ken for his terrific customer service and care, but unfortunately, that is a legality thing. These folks certainly deserve it. So bring them your business and get super high on their thoughtful and swift help.

     Ps I have been there over and over since, and there are literally 2 more shops on the street! So trust me dY’OE

I was able to leave with a great assortment for great prices and I look forward to returning!
