My visit to Discovery Bay was quite enjoyable. I had been by this place when it was serving pizza and ice cream. Ashlyn was a wonderful help and I was very satisfied with her advice as a budtender.
This is my go-to shop (not JUST because it’s the closest to me, but that helps)– Ashlyn and Kim have both taken very good care of me and are so sweet and accommodating, and they always recommend good product 🙂
We had a wonderful experience at Discovery Bay Cannabis! They have a wide variety of products for very reasonable prices. Anne was personable, knowledgeable and helped us get exactly what we needed 🙂 The store itself was clean, looks nice and the train car is so kitschy and awesome!
Once again, came in from out of town and was impressed as always with the selection you all had. And once again was helped by Kym, and as always was super helpful and super nice to talk to, I always have a good time coming in and look forward to seeing Kym and all of you again next time.
Growing up in the 90s my family and I would drive to Forks in the winter. The box cars this dispensary is located in I used to use as a landmark on the drive out and now it’s a must stop. Chatty staff, great product at a great price, repurposed site, all good things.
Ashlyn was amazing. Very helpful and knowledgeable. So glad she came in even though there was about 1.5 ft of snow on the ground!

This is such a great little spot off the 101… this train is fully loaded with some amazing deals and knowledgeable friendly staff. We were just looking for some doobs for a day of hiking on the peninsula.. Ann’s recommendations were great!! Golden Pineapple and Tiramisu by house of Cultivar !! Stop in today and pick some up !!!!
Quality variety and staffing that never disappoint! Happily helped by Anne this visit, who was, as always, affable and efficient in her guidance of our purchase. Tried out Falcanna’s Dutch Haze & Orange Blossom, both top notch flavor and effect, highly endorse this extraordinary grower (who also raise falcons!!). Also tried the WA Growers Silver Surfer and God’s Gift for the first time during the visit before last and was once again thoroughly satisfied by the product, being perfectly cured and delightfully tasting. On the other hand, I unfortunately was not too satisfied with my prior purchase of High Guys Grand Daddy Purp, which was dryer than hay and contained approximately 15 premature to fully developed seeds in the ounce, alongside minimal effect and unpleasant flavor. Even for the low price, not worth it. This was the only negative purchase I have had with the shop out of many other positive ones. Thanks everyone. See ya soon!

So I just left and I was so impressed with the bud tenders honesty, told him I was going camping and there where a few of us and he recommended a few strains that were some of the cheapest there! Prices were right and the service was great too. Very unique little shop

I love this place ! It’s a must to stop here if in port Townsend or traveling through. I have been to quite a few shops &never have I been to one with a restroom ! They have so much variety of product & the customer service has always been great for my visits. & how can you resist the fact that they upcycled the old train cars maybe turn the ones into a lounge or cafe of some sort dab bar would be sick but I know there’s regulations in that aspect but either way it’s great how it is

Ashlyn is among the best budtenders I have ever encountered. She warmly greeted us, displayed impressive knowledge of the products, and patiently explained different options to my partner’s mother, who had never been in a cannabis store. She answered every one of our questions clearly and kindly, and made some very useful suggestions. I was also very impressed by the quality and pricing; I don’t usually like pre-rolls, but Ashlyn pointed to a quality pre-roll for $10 that ended up being excellent (I later learned these run for $18 at a popular Seattle shop).
I wish I lived closer to this adorable little shop- I will be sure to stop by next time I am in the area.

I’ve been coming to this dispensary for several months now and find the cleanliness one of the reasons why I keep coming back. It seems I always come on the days the young lady with blue hair is working and I am glad dY~. She is super knowledgeable and very helpful with my medical needs. I have found that other places just want the sale and don’t seem like they truly know the products they are selling, but I feel that this isn’t the case at Discovery Bay. She wants to make sure I am taken care of and that is a great feeling!

Very unique, small shop. Great deals with delicious edibles, strains and quality. Tried the T/H/C granola bars and marijuana chocolate dipped cookies and man oh man was it one of the best highs for a road trip!! Anne was amazing and very helpful!

Super fun location in an old train car! Happened to stop by on their first day open. Very helpful and friendly! Owner said they were also going to open a cafe there in another train car with outdoor seating and view of the bay! Looking forward to see how they expand!

It’s unique the people inside were really nice. Conversation was great, We went on 420 deals were good and they were patient explaining to me about the different strains and helped me look for the ones I wanted.
first time to Discovery Bay was fantastic , great selection of oil for great price . I get a little nervous when getting pre-rolls for lack of smell and flavor but was not let down. There fantastic clerk Anne help me select some really great pre-rolls the blue berry was by fare my favorite , There leaf was the best I’ve had in Washington, fresh , smells like what your buying , great THC levels fantastic taste, I got some citrus-melon that was to die for so if you get the chance stop by this place it’s well worth it….

We stopped by to get ice cream and discovered a cannabis shop! We decided to go in to see if they had any sodas, but the sodas werent in stock yet, they said it would be a couple days….They gave us a couple bucks off on some tasty edibles for stopping by the first day tho. A pleasant experience overall.

This shop is so unique! The set up is so clean and all products are labeled with contents and prices. All the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Michelle is always funny and greets with a classic “ALL ABOARD”…. Priceless. Love this place!
Fantastic! Coolest store ever! Great view of the canal and w/a walking and biking (paved) path behind the train , it’s an great place to just get out of your head for a lil while! The staff there are amazing and really listen to what your looking for , and then give you options based on that. A lot of places don’t do that! They push whatever they want at you , leaving you dissatisfied . I’d like to give a shout-out to Ashlyn ! She’s super awesome and introduced me to “Velvet swing”. Go in and ask about it!!!
Best place I have been too. visited a allot stores in my past but not till now have I been in a train for pot. staff is very knowledgeable and has credits to show it… can’t beat that. but they somehow did, prices are best I’ve seen yet. I went into visit for the first time this past weekend. The lady help me with all of the questions I asked and was very informative. The prices were great and she offered several suggestions. I hadn’t smoked in years so it was nice to have her help me along the way. I really appreciated her help I will be back again and would suggest the store to anyone else.

Stop because it’s a train, but return often because of Anne and great product. Discovery Bay is warm, welcoming, and focuses on high-quality products at a fair price. What’s not to love about that?

Myself and two of my friends visited the store, all for a first time visit to a dispensary. We were helped by Ashlin who was so knowledgeable and professional and answered all our questions.( 3 – 50 something women ask a lot of questions!) As the owner of a retail store I know a great employee when I see one and you definitely have one in Ashlin. As far as the store itself I have driven by numerous times and never stopped and was quite impressed by the display, cleanliness and general feel of the store.
Let me start by saying that I’ve been to all the best shops all over the west coast and without a doubt this place wins. Discovery Cannabis is the truth, the way, and the answer. It is the alpha and omega of shops. Very friendly and helpful service and by far the best prices for quality that I have ever seen. Also the diversity of product is on point. If you don’t go here, you’re doing it wrong. Plain and simple. I’ve driven over 3,000 miles on my journey to get here and it’s worth every foot.

Really great atmosphere and super nice people, awesome they fixed up the old trains. I live in Gardiner so its really nice to have another shop so close and their flower is really good and well priced. I highly recommend the Downtown products they have in stock, all of them so far have been really fiery. I also tried some flower by blacksmith farms that was pretty good. I think I only paid like 25 for an eighth, so they have lots of good loptions available to choose from eveb if your on a budget. Just a really great place overall.

My mission, of finding a highly prized strain, was accomplished and then some. To call the location Port Townsend throws me a little. Check your GPS for best route. I come from Sequim.
