I went here once and the weed i got seemed like a great deal at the time, but it was 7 months old after i checked the test date. It smelled like it had light molding, that aquatic/fish-bowl hint of smell/flavor. i was kinda sad.

the people here were really cool and knowledgeable about the products. I had a problem with my golden leaf cartridge and they exchanged for me no ? s asked, plus it has awesome prices.
I’ve been here twice. First time there was a scuffle in the parking lot, second time someone had their car backed into and the person took off. So not the best neighborhood, but still not enough to keep me away. BUT each time I have bought an eight, and each time it magically weights exacly 3.5 grams while it’s there BUT never weighs that much when I get it home. I tried my scale, the neighbors, and even went as OCD as I could by asking my dude to weigh it on his scale, NOPE both time it was under weight by .12 the first time and by .09 the second. Not much, but enough to say NO to this shop. Rec or OMMP, you should never short change your customers, especially when you’re making money fist over fist….WILL NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN!

Small lil spot. Feels like a liquor store. I was in an out with some super lemon haze. It was $13 for a gram. Price seemed a little high. Lol

I had been shopping here for three years and agree with the other postings that say this place has gone downhill. The staff used to be really cool and knowledgeable, but the staff there today seemed neither. I understand they do not move medical customers to the front of the line like many dispensaries do, and I don’t mind that much unless the staff is slow and when I get to the front they don’t have what was listed on their Leafly menu. What has driven me to leave a poor review is the guy with the ponytail overcharged me again. Today I was charged $20 more than what their menu on Leafly says it should have been. This is not the first time this guy has done this, and one of the women working last month did the same. The bait and switch tactic of not having what is listed but offering a higher shelf item in place of it is bad enough, but the regular overcharging is unacceptable to me. I will not be returning.

I absolutely love local herb collective. they’re the only dispensary I’ve been to that doesn’t just push out 15% thc bud for their deals. the deals are actually GOOD bud that feels great and tastes great. it’s honestly the only dispensary I like going to anymore, and the only one I shop regularly.
I like their cheap concentrates… the herb is a little spendy but it’s always high quality.

It’s a bit of a walk for me, but very worth it even with the cold. When I got there there was a line out the door, but it moved very quickly. There was a lot of space in the waiting area, and when I got into the actual store part it was very spacious. Even in the midst of a huge rush, the guy who helped me(he had blonde hair) was very nice and kept his cool. I have anxiety so that was a pretty big deal to me. All in all it was a speedy, relaxing and positive experience, and the flower is amazing. Thanks!

As a first time OOMP patient I was fairly nervous about picking a good, trustworthy and friendly dispensary.
Internet research led me to this place.
I love it! The atmosphere is really comfortable, always have a good conversation anytime I come in. The guys that I’ve met are very knowledgeable and polite – not to mention the medication is premium!!
Flowers, edibles, concentrates – all top notch. At this point I don’t even care to go to any other dispensary. These guys are legit all around. (Also, sometimes there’s a really sweet cuddly dog you can pet. Bonus!!)
They have a great selection of flowers and really top notch concentrates. The saff is friendly and very knowledgeable about what medicine they have. Also I noticed there prices are lower than the other stores in the area. I will definitely be going back again for my medz.
been coming to this location for about 3 years now. I’ve always recommended them is my top spot in Oregon, but ever since it went Rec they seem to have lost their touch. the quality of the Cannabis is still good but they seem to charge whatever they want for it. it’ll save price online and then they’ll still tack on $30 to that for a half. the only explanation of give you is that Leafly must be wrong but yet when you believe they don’t correct the price on Leafly. so does that mean they just get to decide what they charge you when you get up to the register? not very professional. they need to get their s*** together if they expect customers to come back. and on the final note hire some staff that actually knows what they’re talking about and is a little bit of polite customer service too much to ask?
Beware! False advertisement. Price in store higher than prices on leafly page. Says $100 for 14g Obama. Tender says $130. 1:40p 6/25/16.

Today 1/7/17, Portland Oregon conditions aren’t the greatest to be driving out. Winter storm hit us and the roads are icy, snowing and temps are 20 degrees. But that did not stop people from hitting up Local Herb to pick up their medical and recreational marijuana. Local herb employees are amazing, they have carisma and know how to treat you right. Their herbal collection and prices are amazing. Highly recommend. I’ve been going there for like almost 3yrs and counting.

good service and a good selection
This was my second visit here, I wanted a quarter of G13 which they were out of. The guy suggested Jaeger so I got a quarter of that instead, which is very good. They only looked at my ID, there was no writing or photocopying going on. One place I went recently photocopied my ID which is out of line. I never smoke weed to get high, I only smoke to help me sleep, so it ticks me off when places discriminate against non-cardholders and call us “recreational users”, which this place does not do. All of their customers are equal.

I’ve been going here for almost a month straight now. it’s the best place for the highest quality medicine for the fairest price around. the shatter and wax they have available is amazing. priced correctly and fair. the flower is prime last time got an Oz of Og kush and another Oz of GDP and an Oz of lemon sativa contrenrate and like always I loved it. Spend time and money here and u won’t regret it.

I’ve been shopping here for the past few months after going to some of the bigger locations. They’ve won me over with there friendly service, efficient service & laid back atmosphere . I suppose there will always be haters out there so if you are bugged by not jumping to the head of the line because you’ve got an OMMP card, I suggest you go elsewhere! They don’t have the biggest selection but what they do have is well organized, clean & I’ve always found what I needed! The staff has always been very attentive, answered my question & overall are “real” people, not sales driven, know it all & impatient if you don’t know quite what you need. I don’t understand some of the other reviews I read here but in my opinion, if it was that miserable for you, leave! You won’t be missed! People like that probably complain about everything & everyone doing them wrong all the time anyway so maybe sit down, smoke a bowl & consider your own part in your various experiences thruout your day! Maybe you need to do some adjusting as a person!

Local Herb Collective is where it’s all at. I’ve shopped here many times, and I’ve always been blown away by the quality. This place is a sprawling, delicious assemblage of what I would say is the ‘Finest Weed in Portland.’ They always have strains and prices that you’ll never see anywhere else. #1 favorite dispensary, for sure!!!

This is Sandy, my review is on OG Kush and blue city diesel, The OG Kush was smooth nice taste nice smell and hard and crunchy just how I like it. Blue city diesel on the other hand was soft nice blonde hairs, taste great, but a little bit too soft. Thank you.

I go here roughly once a week and have never had a bad experience! The bud tenders are super friendly and knowledgeable, the strains are great and you can’t beat the prices, especially when they have their $6 grams! I never shop anywhere else!
normally I loce LHC, but my girlfriend recently went in for a flower sale, and not only is the “God Bud” wet, incorrectly cured, and poorly flushed, it also had seeds… I have never had an experience with a dispensary like this. In my 2 decades Ive found probably a few dozen seeds in the BLACK MARKET. This is sad.

My first visit in the Collective was great and went smoothly. However, it went down hill from there. Medication can look great and have quality, but it’s sketchy to me that they have things mis labeled. They are comfortable selling ineffective oils to patients and they didn’t have any lab results on hand. I am all for the legalization of weed, but a dispensary should be well rounded for recreational and medicinal use. They admitted to me their clientele was pretty much recreational and so that’s what they were focused on. That’s not okay. When I proceeded to share some light on their oils and how they could improve them our service immediately went down hill and all of a sudden our questions were immediately met with idk man or whatever man. If you’re looking for fun and it’s close then yeah, go here, it’s great for that, but looking for a staff educated on using marijuana for medicine. Sorry if this offended, but it is important to be on point when you have people with serious illness trying to regain health quickly and efficiently. Please just take this as a room for improvement type review not an attack at all.

After having gone to a few other spots, I found this treasure chest of goodies. Customer service was great, quality great and prices are great. Only thing they could do better is be 24 hours.

THE BEST WEED YOU CAN GET FOR THE PRICE!! Honestly the bud here is always trimmed so well, it always looks pristine and high thc percentages for really low prices, I’m always walking away satisfied or overly impressed. I love this dispensary.

This place is set up for quick service with 4 counters to serve customers. The quality of the buds are always top notch and with varieties like Plat Girl Scout cookies and Durban Poison for $8 a gram, this is the place I go for high quality strains at a reasonable price.

Very average so far, no first time deals or very knowledgeable staff. The ID checking process is very quick, and the dispensery, while small, is nice. I got some great priced premium extract, and earned some rewards points (don’t know what they are for).

High THC options which I need for pain control, and the one with high CBD works great on my daughter who has seizures and is allergic to main ingredients in all seizure medications; only the weed with cbds works wonders. I love this place, great service and good prices. The only downside is the location. There are some really haggard clucks lurking on the block every time I stop in…but you’ll never find better budtenders.
By far the worst place to go and get anything from! the staff is very lazy always on there phones one girl always has an attitude and they are unknowledgeable about alot of there product. Would not recommend to any and medical patients don’t get served right away, will never come back.
Great priced medicine, very potent, and the staff is very helpful. My only complaint is that they don’t carry enough tinctures and high CBD edibles, but they usually carry the 58% CBD RSO by the gram.

These people are looking to help you find what is right for you, and are not trying to push an old product that aint selling like other places I’ve been to. Tired of “Top Shelf” reimbursements. Come get some of the most potent, robust, and beautiful flower in the NW without going over $10 a Gram. I don’t just recommend it, I think it would be foolish of you to not go there at least once. I know from experience that once you go for the first time you will return. I personally drive passed three dispensaries to get to this one…I love my Local Herb Collective…Dont forget to try the concentrates…That shit is fire!!!!

This has been my new place to go for a month or two now. Great quality of buds and friendly staff. Everythings reasonably priced as well which is great. Last time I was in there I had some of there chocolate covered brownies and they were superb. Usually medibles don’t do much for me but these put me in my place and did an excellent job + tasted amazing. By far my fav dispensary in the area and look forward to seeing them grow. Recommended to all+++++

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they have good quality bud for a very decent price. All their flowers are $10/gram or less. They don’t take cards but there is an ATM on site. The loud-ish music they play may not be for everyone, but it’s usually very fast in and out and they weigh and package it right there at the counters.

Good quality meds and friendly staff. But to echo another comment, this place is filthy, buds laying around in plastic bags, disgusting carpet, busted up display cases. It’s a shame since the staff is great and prices are too, but come on guys, no need to remodel everything just clean up some clutter.

Local Herb Collective is not a fancy shop. If you want some sort of grand retail experience, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. If you want to buy medicine from people who care more about the meds than the presentation, you’re at the right place.
Best store in the city
Pop in here a couple times a week. I’m mostly a concentrate user, and I’m always impressed with the selection, quality, and prices here. Recently been sticking to flower and have been really, really happy with everything I’ve tried here. Good trim, good cure, friendly and knowledgable budtenders in a low key spot! Skip a drive out to the inner SE hipster shops, there’s great bud out in the east numbers!

the people on here hating most likely are the ones who always ask is this indoor or outdoor unless you have extreme experience don’t complain when you pick out something stupid I love all of them and their extracts are the best!!!
The flower is really good quality, but that’s about where the positivity ends.
The budtender was telling me that things were Indica that were actually Sativa, and really didn’t have a grasp on what their flowers were.
On top of this, their safe was in the main bud room, and it was wide open. And all over the place were huge bags of bud laying around. As well, there were a couple of shoddy display cases with products just piled in there sloppily without proper tags.
This place is does not offer a professional experience in the slightest, so be prepared to be disappointed.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of this dispensary & the customer service was excellent. Another HUGE PLUS for me was they sale my new favorite edible truffles unfortunately they was currently sold out. They was also close to $7 cheaper then other places for the truffles. My only CON that I can think of was, I was new and had no idea what the set up was or what was what & I wasn’t offered help… But all in all I’m pretty satisfied and willing to recommend this place. I went here because Leafly said they accepted credit cards, which they don’t! so I left. I couldn’t help but notice a bunch of trashy looking people hanging out in the parking lot, like it was a regular thing…. The overall feel of this place was just ghetto… I would not recommend wasting your time at this place.

This was my first time in and I must say…Best quality for the price hands down. Came in on 5/9/15 just to get an 1/8th and a couple grams of oil. ended up also picking up a dank oz of OG tested at 25% for 150. Dank gsc shatter was 88% for only 25. Place was clean not fancy. Will be back!

This cool little shop off of SE Division Street has become the ONLY place that I go to for my flower and concentrate needs. I recommend them to all of my friends and visit every 1-2 days. The staff can put a smile on anyone’s face, no matter what kind of day they are having. They are adept at their trade and bring such positive vibes! I mean every single staff member – you are all amazing!
As far as products go, they always have a great selection of flower at a number of price points. I greatly appreciate the attention to freshness and the variety, and they carry some of my favorite strains like Gorilla Glue #4 and Dawg Walker on a regular basis. Concentrates are well priced and the price points make sense. If you pay a premium price for an oil here, it’s worth it. Also, their base oils at the lowest price point are nothing to scoff at – the standard for quality here is high.
Finally, there is good parking options around the dispensary, and the staff clear lines quickly so you can be on your way to enjoying your purchase.
Even if I were to move across town, I would make some excuse to come over here, just to visit this dispensary, they are that good!

Great location if you want to go next door for some Topless Review! The Store seemed a bit shabby as compared to other Pot Stores. The mid shelve gram I purchased was an 6 out of 10 buzz compared to other competitors at the same value. The attendant was very helpful till he got slammed with more customers. Well, I called ahead to verify if they had any deals and was told they did. I live about 5 min away from the location and it took me maybe 8 or 9 min with traffic. Somehow they sold out of their deal within 9 min of me speaking with them, however when I asked the gentlemen tending to me if they’ve been busy he said not so much in the afternoon but in the morning they were. So I honestly feel like I was lied to in order to coerce me into stopping into the location. This put a bad taste in my mouth and I don’t think I’ll be stopping by to this location again.

This is THE dispensary, my absolute number one. The concentrates are outstanding on an average scale. By average I mean their cheapest products ($25 donation a gram) are outstanding shatter always with great flavor (and big selections). They have the cheapest quality bud, by quality I mean decently trimmed, good selection and efficient potency! They also have a great selection for regular priced flower and some crazy stuff that’s just a little more per oz (not per gram)! Not to mention the people who work here are very nice, knowledgeable and informative.

I have always really loved this dispensary but I am super bummed that they are no longer stocking hush/mojave/exhale cartridges anymore. That is really all I have been looking for lately and this used to be my first stop for them.
I haven’t had a good experience yet but I will keep trying them.
Other than it’s located in sketchy Gresham, in a beat down building, the price $ is worth the drive. The bud tender whom helped me answered my silly newbie questions in a kind way. As for the other thin bud tender. I got more “cocky” vibe. Could see shooing away clients via other reviews. But I will be back! And recommend to others.

I absolutely love LHC. I come here a few times a week for my meds and everything is always on point. I’ve heard a few people in lobby say prices are high on some flower. We’ll if you look and ask about it they will tell you why. Some of their flower they get is the best in the state and has won multiple awards thus you want the best you pay for the best if that’s not in your range they have multiple of other cheaper costing strains that you would like. I always buy top shelf and I think the prices are cheaper then most other dispensarys I’ve gone to 40+.

By far one of the best locations in the Portland metro area!
I was a large skeptic, and initially thought that all of the $40 oz strains would be trash, and the $100 oz strain would be average at best.
Wow was I wrong. The quality is well above average for each price tier, and they always have a minimum of at least one strain at every price tier that is amazing. Even at $40oz some of the strains have been incredible. Not all bud is the same, thus, some strains stand out a lot less than other.
All in all, I have never been disappointed with the selection and walk out a happy customer!
I visited this dispensary on 3/6/2015. By far the most haphazard, armature, shoddy dispensary I’ve seen. From the barely functional display cases, the scale and counter covered in flower crumbs, to several large zip lock bags full of flower strewn on tables set up along the walls. I was honestly shocked an establishment would be allowed to function as dispensary with conditions like this.
HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone. really good buds at a reasonable price, all their flower is available for purchase as recreational

LHC attracted me because I was looking for two particular strains and their Leafly menu showed they carried both (and at good prices). One strain was out when I got there, which happens.
The shop is easy to spot and on a major street, and ID checking is quick. The sales room is narrow and too dark. It was hard to see the samples clearly.
Unfortunately, the budtender I shopped with didn’t know very much about the strains. In fact, he misinformed me — he said one strain I bough would send me into couch lock, when it’s actually know for being relaxing to the body but energetic mentally and socially. Like the woman on the front door, he was nice and everything, but he didn’t know his products.
The quality of the flower was good, the prices (for my strains, anyway) were decent, the location is easy to find, and I likely will be back — but I won’t rely on much besides the knowledge I bring with me.
The best by far . best prices and flower . I would recommend to everyone. .

I attempted to write a review about this place about a week ago regarding the service and the fact that the females here unless you’re a male, you don’t get good service from. But they didn’t post it. So I’m attempting to write another review since they seem to only post the positive reviews. But every time I come in with my boyfriend they treat him nice and sweet but then have an attitude with me. I don’t feel that’s right and I wish dispensaries wouldn’t hire people who seem so full of themselves just because they work at a dispensary, hire people passionate about helping people with illnesses and certain disabilities. I did comment that they have decent herb and oil, and the pricing isn’t terrible, but that wasn’t enough I guess to make the reviews page on leafly. Due to such poor service in and out of the shop I will def not return nor will I refer people here like we once did. Big thumbs a down you guys … Seeing I work for a hotel and people ask me this question now when they come to town on good places to go, this place will no longer make the list 🙁

The staff was friendly and laid back. The donation rate is pretty much normal compared to other dispensaries. Although for the amount I am able to donate I was pretty limited, when it came to “lower quality” meds I had very few choices. This was a month ago but I am hoping to see more when I come in again! 🙂

This was my first visit to a shop after getting my medical card. Been there a few times since, and have a great experience every time. I have only met one tender (not sure if there is more), but it was exceptional service. I now live in Gresham and this is one of the closest shops, would recommend to anyone!

This has been one of my favorites until recently. While most of the staff is great there are a few who are just not. Just because I’m buying weed doesn’t mean I don’t expect good customer service. It’s mainly the female staff, one in particular who is just very rude. I’m going to give them another try today, even though I said I wouldn’t go in there again, because they have decent prices and good product.
