One of the best places I have been to, out of Oregon and Colorado. Staff knows so much, and it feels like they really care about the people and place.

Absolute best dispensary in Portland, hands down. I drive way out of my way to go here because the bud is fresh and incredible (seriously I didn’t think there was a big difference in quality amongst dispensaries until I went here) and the budtenders are so nice and helpful. They all seem genuinely smart and knowledgeable. Caroline is my favorite budtender in Portland and she’s smart as heck about cannabis. The prices are excellent, and they have a medical price cap which is extremely helpful and compassionate. The owner pours his heart and soul into cannabis and it really shows. The atmosphere is so calming and welcoming. I love this place so gosh dang much.
Clean, stylish and sterile as a pharmacy–hence the name–Farma is a very friendly and pretty place filled with experienced and professional budtenders.
One of my favorite things about it is that they consistently stock ACDC in the preferred 20 to 1 ratio; there’s a lot of ACDC in PDX but a lot of it is a janky ratio that’s useless to me for my anxiety and depression. You’ll see things like 16 to 4 or whatnot, and I’m sorry, but that’s not ACDC, that’s a panic attack waiting to happen.
You get a ton of information about the bud you’re purchasing there right on the side of your little canisters, which I also love. Lot numbers, batch numbers, growers, and most importantly how much THC and CBD you’re getting.
The budtenders are all about making sure that you know what you’re purchasing, how it might best help you and what kinds of issues it addresses. From a medical perspective and for a person using the plant for health reasons, they’re terrific.
They also sell pipes and vapes and some edibles that will help you get nice, but all I really care about is their ACDC, which for me is a lifesaver. Keep it up, Farma! I’m a fan!
As soon as I stepped in the door I could tell this dispensary is something special. The interior is modern and absolutely beautiful and the showcases for the flowers and such is top notch. Not to mention the flower is mostly house grown and all TOP shelf. I forget his name but the Budtender helping me was extremely knowledgeable on the different strains. He knew the history and origins of the strains as well as what would help my specific condition. Could not be more impressed and I’ve found my new favorite dispensary. I’ve been to a few dispensaries and this one beats all my other visits by an order or two of magnitude. The staff was kind, super-knowledgeable and the quality of what is for sale is fantastic. These guys know about their buds! This was a very medical and professional feeling dispensary. The staff were helpful and pointed me in the right direction to great CBD buds from East Fork Cultivators.
Farma is the old school favorite! Great, knowledgeable staff (though that seems to have fallen off a little) great flower from recognizable farms. Love that they keep the menu updated so I know what I’m getting into before I get into the shop (though I wish they would update the farm’s info. Picked up some Nelson and CO and was happy I did.

I’ve been a medical user for five years in WA and OR and i think this is the standard by which all dispensaries should be measured. Sorry that it sounds like a ad tagline, but that is the only thing I could think of after two visits to the store. It’s amazing. I thought I knew medical cannabis but the staff there is even more informed and up to date than I am. Anyone who enjoys quality medical cannabis will be very happy with the product, but if you are an “experienced” cannabis user like I am (also known as a grown-ass stoner), I think you will find it especially delightful. Happy 420 everyone.
Great spot. On my visit I only waited while my info was added so I can’t comment on the lobby other than service was friendly upon entry. Came in with a strain in mind and was able to see and smell it right away. I was also shown comparable stains as well as some of the budtender’s current favorites. I purchased 7 grams of Sunset Sherbert, the strain I went to see about. The quality of all the bud I was shown was excellent but the there was something about the Sherbert. The quality of the bud and the service will bring me back to Farma.
Its a busier shop than most, with a longer wait. Their prices are also a little higher than the same product at other shops.
This place looks expensive…it’s not.

It’s not shocking to visit a welcoming shop with excellent customer service and world class product. But it is surprising. And very enjoyable. Farma is in a league of its own right now. That’s just the truth. It’s the best that Portland has to offer – which is saying a lot.
Farma may just be the model for what other dispensaries should be striving for. Any line out front is well deserved with their intelligent staff, their amazing products and how they go so far out of their way to be super accommodating person after person, all with the same energy as the first. It is wonderful to see things as a business it is than the games that are still around to play. In my mind there is no other place to ever go.

“The Ultimate Hipster Cannabis Experience.” Nice clean facility, upon a few visits I found the flower to be either really good or average. It took a while to get checked in as a returning patient and I found myself awkwardly standing there as the guy at the desk was “too busy.” The pricing was at or above current market value. The two budtenders I encountered tried really hard to “enlighten” me on why they spend extra money on tests and other dispensaries don’t. It almost felt like I wasn’t “cool” enough to be there. I will be back…..for the flower, but I’m obviously not their “target demographic.”
Today was the first day of rec edible sales. I waited 30 minutes because they couldn’t figure out taxes or something, and then when I finally got to see products they told me the CO2 cartridge on their menu wasn’t in stock. Not only did I waste my time, but the budtender was snippy and didn’t even apologise. When I said “never mind” she smirked at me and said “fine.” I won’t be coming back here for a while aEUR” hopefully they can sort out their issues in the meantime.

I was looking for organically grown flower and was not disappointed when I got here. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. There was a nice selection of flower, that was labeled according to effect and type, and they had edibles and other concentrates as well as clones. The menu was very informative and organized. I will definitely be back to grab more flower.

My visit was the best experience I’ve had at a dispensary. If you want to dive down the rabbits hole of marijuana’s limitless potential as a medicine, this is the place to come. Jeremy has this knowledge on the tip of the tongue and presents said knowledge in a way that makes you want to learn more and try everything just to see how each effect is different from the last one you tried. A lot of passion behind the message. The game has changed, these guys know why and are taking it there before everyone else.
In terms of quality, one of the best dispensaries around. Really great flower, always. Extremely knowledgeable bud-tenders as well.
The Apple Store of weed.
This place has it all. They also seem to focus on high CBD medication which it seems not too many places do. It’s clean and has great options. Staff is knowledgeable and they seem fairly priced. My only critique would be for them would be to have another place where you can see the flowers. It can crowd a bit if there’s more than 3 people looking. I will be a return patient.

As an OMMP patient I stayed away from my regular shops after receiving poor service amongst the crowds Oct. 1st. I eventually needed to pick up some more meds though, so I decided to check this place out based on a recommendation. I am so glad I visited Farma, and will absolutely shop here again. The staff were kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make me feel taken care of. Not what I experienced for most shops serving recreational. Lovely atmosphere, high quality product, knowledgable staff, and they take the extra time and effort to focus of patients.

Having visited dispensaries throughout Oregon and much of the West Coast (I’ve been to at least 50), this is the absolute best I’ve experienced. The cannabis here is a measure above what you see in even the nicest locations elsewhere, and service is wayyyy better. Just professional, friendly, and super duper cool. And the prices are exactly what you would expect to pay for cannabis of this quality – in some cases surprisingly less. I’ll be back – for sure.

This dispensary is the cleanest and most efficient dispensary I have been to in this city. since the legalization of recreational marijuana last year, I have frequented many dispensaries and found Farma to be my favorite.

This is the best dispensary I have visited. (And I have been to at least 10). The atmospher was great, the staff extremely knowledgeable, and the best products by far.
Stopped in two weeks ago to check for clones, and was told to wait a week and a half for availability. I called ahead at Farma today to see if they have clones available. The guy I spoke to said “come on in, we have plenty.” When I arrived, the front desk staff turned me away, saying that they weren’t selling clones. Get your story straight, Farma. You’ve made sure I won’t try again for clones or anything else.

they do not keep leafly menu up to date. Drove a long way for a specific strain only to be told they did not have it available, then was told later on the phone that it was being put into pre-rolls. If i had been told that when I was there I might have bought one . instead my time was wasted. Employees couldn’t have cared less.

Huge selection with a handy three-tier red (energetic) or blue (relaxing) effects scale to quickly pick out what you’re looking for.
I wish they had full gram pre-rolls instead of just half-grams.
And as always I wish more stores had cheaper, less potent weed available.
A whole new level of professionalism and cannabis knowledge has been brought to the Portland medical scene in Farma. I’ve been to a fair number of dispensaries in the Portland Area, and the quality of their flower is the best that I’ve seen to date. On top of that Sam, and Jeremy are wonderfully knowledgeable about their products and Cannabis in general, especially Jeremy, the man is a Canna-Guru. What is really impressive is I think these guys have only been open a couple of months, so things are just going to get better and better as they get settled in. I highly recommend any patient pay them a visit, you won’t regret it.

I’ve been coming to Farma for awhile now, and along the way I’ve checked out a lot of other shops in Oregon. I keep coming back to Farma for one reason though: the budtenders. They are the most knowledgeable and the most friendly of any place I’ve visited. They’re the best. It doesn’t hurt that they carry the dankest bud on the planet.

I love this location but I made a huge mistake today. Myself and my mother are medical patients and today I was super busy and could not leave the house to get myself and my mother some medicine so I checked the menu and told her what to purchase but when she came home the phenotype was different than I expected. I have purchased this strain here before but this time it looked different for some reason. I am totally bummed I smoked some and I’m completely not happy. I called to see If I could exchange but was asked if I had opened it and yes I had due to I was recycling a container. So double lesson learned do not send someone to get your medicine and do not open if you are not sure of the purchase. I have exchanged meds before due to the package was sealed but this time I was reusing a container so my bad. I’m not writing this not to complain but to warn others of my careless mistake. Do your own purchasing even if you are a beginner inspect the medicine you have bought before to make sure it is what you want. I will definitely be shopping here due to the fact that I love there meds but every purchase will be myself in person from now on.
I loved it, it’s just too far away from my home to visit often. The bud tender was so helpful and I am so very pleased with my purchase. I do plan on stopping in whenever I’m in Portland for any reason though. It’s well worth the Detour. The only down side was the man at the front window didn’t notice my Son and I waiting there for a couple minutes. It did give my Son time to tell me all about the place before I entered though, that was good.
Hands down the best flower in town. I call this shop high-school because i’m from the east coast, long island ny and its been ten years since i have had the pleasure of having super sour d. Amazing knowledge too, only place i have been too that knows everything about what their doing. Will return as much as i can.
By far the best dispensary in Portland. Their buds are second to none, they just simply do not carry poor quality bud and always a top notch selection. Even their more affordable selections are easily top shelf quality buds you would pay 15 a g for at other stores. Their service is spectacular, always knowledgeable and welcoming, never a bad experience.

For some reason I don’t mind paying such high prices here. I guess it’s because I feel good supporting a shop that transcends the feel of a drug deal. I am not a “patient” (even though I have had my card) and I don’t use for “medical” purposes. I’m just a stoner who loves to get baked. End of story. If every shop followed Farma’s lead, the stigma of weed would fall away and bring us all closer to true freedom. I am not an advocate for weed culture but I am a proponent for choice and the pursuit of happiness. Thank you Farma for being about the science as much as the money.

Top notch strains and knowledgeable staff! Love the atmosphere inside the dispensary. Very Clean. Cannabis is displayed creatively and labeled clearly. Makes for a both a fun and comfortable experience. Prices might be higher here, but the quality never disappoints!

We came here based on recommendations from two friends who live in Portland and we could not be more pleased. The staff is awesome – everyone is so nice! We bought some flower and a vape cartridge and the quality is wayyyy better than what we got in Denver. This will be our regular spot in Portland now.
I visited for the first time yesterday and was disappointed by the front door persons awareness, or lack thereof, of 4/20 promoted deals — or the discrepancy between what I read online and what was happening at the store. I read in two different ads about various deals beginning 4/19, but when asked, the front door woman said there were no deals until 4/20. So I left. Disappointing.
Even though it’s not the closest dispensary to me, I keep coming back. The store is clean, well-laid out, and calming. Every bud tender has been knowledge and courteous. Can’t beat the quality, I’ve sampled various flower, prerolls, and edibles and am always pleased with the results. In the edibles arena for rec buyers, I love the Leif Medicinal bars! The mint seems to fly off the shelf (for good reason).
Like this place a lot. Staff seem really down-to-earth and sincerely interested in helping out and answering questions (even if they’re dumb). If you’re getting into weed, this is a great spot to start, if you’re intimidated or nervous. I’ve been smoking for 20 years, and walking into a place and buying legally is still a bizarre feeling to me… and this place makes it less bizarre. It’s also three blocks from my house, so I think I’m gonna be a regular.

I’ve been to so many dispensaries in my time as an OMMP patient that I couldn’t count them w/ all my fingers & toes. And I’ve only felt compelled to write a review for less than I can count on one hand. And that’s how I feel about Farma, they r head & shoulders above other dispensaries in all of Portland. First off I’ll review what we all come to any dispensary for: the medicine. Their flowers are very well done most all organic I believe ,which to a true connoiseur, means a lot. Especially with all the grow store garbage all the “major” farmers use they will usually claim “all organic” but u can always tell in the taste. Something about true organics that brings out the real terpenes of a flower & Farma has that on a consistent basis as far as I’m concerned. And I’m gonna finish it up by saying that EVERY single bud tender & ALL the staff for that matter is super friendly. And they genuinely want u to leave happy every single time you frequent their establishment, which is what going to get medicine should b all about really, the patient getting all their needs met & feeling comfortable in the process. To sum it all up, GO HERE!! Especially if u never have, because you will b very happy that you did, and you like me will probably make Farma ur “go to” spot for all ur medical marijuana needs.
I was there at the opening day and have come back regularly since. They always are friendly and helpful, and have an excellent selection. I’ve always had a positive experience here and can expect quality products here. It is a little pricier than other places, but it is worth it when you are looking for consistently high quality stuff.
Both staff members were knowledgable, explaining how the products are made, tested, and what the results mean. Carrying a variety of products, they have got everything to satisfy your medicating needs. Take your time, ask questions, and take advantage of the knowledgable staff.

Of all Premium Marijuana stops, this is number one! While most budtenders are guessing at which effect you will receive, Farma’s provides patrons with the objective science to support their products. I love this dispensary. I was not only astounded with times open and proximity but the knowledge i was provided and have been able to gain along with how serious yet personable they are about there business. I absolutely adored the scenary and i feel like i stepped in a new millennium when walking in because they knew there goods and promote awareness for everyone else while maintaining such a futuristic approach to the knowledge yet to come. Plus it looks like something from the jetsons and so cute! New fav! And those prices- not better then the service but those prices r killer for there killer flower. Love u guys!

The sour diesel they have in right now is one of the most unique and great tasting versions of the strain I’ve ever tried.
Farma remains my favorite dispensary by far.
I will start with the caveat that this is only my second time visiting a dispensary. That said, Farma is probably just about everything I could hope for in a dispensary. The place feels like a mix of a day spa and an apple store. The budtenders are super chill and incredibly knowledgeable about their product. The selection is amazing; a wide variety of different strains, including multiple high cbd flowers. The fact that they have the flowers in bulk and let you look at and smell them while deciding really adds to the experience. Combine that with incredibly reasonable prices, especially for the level of service, and you can bet I’ll be back again, and telling my friends about it.
I came in because I’d heard you can describe the effects you’re looking for and the employees will guide you to selections that give the desired results. I was able to get help picking out a high CBD strain for pain relief, as well as picking up a few strains for my novice partner (who worships Carl Sagan) to try and see if it helps his focus. I am impressed for sure.

I came for the first time at 1010 am and was so surprised and excited to see energy in a dispensary. The front desk gentleman had a great retro hairdoo, and was so friendly, courteous and just great. Then the clerk very carefully weighed out my medical weed and I got a really nice discount. By far this is the most supportive place I have seen in a while, and I am now a regular customer. Not only is it conveniently located off major bus routes, Farma is a really cool dispensary not only because its got a sweet & sleek design, but because they have their own unique system of rating flower depending on the level of sativa/indica, and they’ve always had an extensive selection–but even more importantly, they keep their bud in beautiful glass jars. I’ve never, ever been disappointed.
Their staff is really knowledgeable and relaxed, so if you’re a first-timer or have very little knowledge (or none at all) about all strains, they’ll give you a great crash course and help you find the best strain.

i’ve visited quite a few dispensaries since they opened and this was the biggest disappointment. It’s supposed to be the best? They’ve got the highest prices I’ve encountered, the atmosphere is cold & sterile & nobody was friendly. The bud was OK if you don’t mind it being so dry that it crumbles every time you touch it. I won’t be back.

First time in as an OMMP patient and it was HORRIBLE! Extremely unorganized and I was treated like a rec patient. They let an ungodly amount of people in at a time to the point were it’s extremely uncomfortable, and barely any space to move around. By far one of the most unprofessional dispensaries I’ve been to. Definitely will not be returning.
W-o-w. I regularly visit many of the dispensaries here in Portland, and this place climbs right to the top of the must-visit list. It is run by cannabis professionals who truly know the science behind the medicine. The quality of their flowers is amazing; one look with their illuminated magnifying glass and a sniff from any jar will verify that immediately. You will find varieties here that you won’t find elsewhere, and they are all of exceptional quality and covered with trichomes. These guys carefully select for terpenoids as well as optimum THC/CBD profiles. I had a really tough time selecting just 3 types, and when I got home and gave them a test puff I was beyond satisfied. The bar has definitely been raised.
The selection here is amazing! I tried several strains of flower and was pleased with them all. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I also like that the layout is less clinical than many dispensaries, this place reminded me of a jewelry store.

No broscience weed misinformation. They take a unique and refreshing perspective on categorizing and describing the strains. I can’t say whether this is objective and truthfully scientific, but it’s a whole lot better than what most stores offer. I really believe they are aspiring to get to the truth of which strain does what, and why. My new favorite place.

The only word that I can use to describe this dispensary is exceptional. I picked up some Candyland and Honey Bear flower both 5/5 in terms of look, aroma, and flavor. The Green Ribbon sugar wax I got was also fire. The budtenders at Farma were both friendly and knowledgeable. Will be coming back for more of the top shelf flower as soon as possible.

The product was great. Prices are comparable to other stores. However this is the only store that made us sign a waver to come inside and the waver included statements like. Farma does not guarantee the quality of our product. Or something along these lines. Their product was great. Just didn’t like the waiver. Maybe it’s just me.
With so many local dispensaries dressed up to look like some kids bedroom with black lights and Bob Marley posters, finding Farma was a huge relief. These guys were great! Stopped in yesterday to check out the product, everyone was extremely helpful and energetic! My morale shoot straight threw the rough just by walking in and say hello! This lovely dispensary is in a class of its own – the most highly informed staff I’ve found, professional, and passionate about serving the medical community. As a fifty year smoker but new to the dispensary world, I was made to feel completely comfortable and taken care of. Their prices are entirely in line with the strong quality of their flowers and exceptional customer service.
Very welcoming, relaxing atmosphere from the design of the shop to the attitude of the staff. My budtender was very knowledgeable about the flower. I was not shopping for concentrate at the time, but from a glance I saw their diverse selection. One of my main dispensaries from now on for sure.

Great place! We really enjoyed the layout and selection of the store – there was so much to choose from! They have everything for every mood and at every strength. Only downside was that it was a bit pricy, lacking in any cheaper varieties. However for the quality we got I will definitely come back, just not as often as I’d like.
Farma is really unlike any dispensery I’ve ever been to. It has a modern feel to it and extremely relaxing. I felt wanted and not pressured into anything. The staff are knowledgeable. I would absolutely go there again!
I totally love this place, however, last visit was extremely awkward. Everyone working the floor was very standoff-ish for some reason. Granted, their label system was down and I imagine staff was stressed trying to resolve the issue, but the CS that day REALLY turned me off. It was out of character for this shop.
This used to be the best place by far. Their new staff is not very knowledgable. Customer service has slipped. Other places are stepping up. Hope they can regain their edge. Wiley is awesome but customers never get to see him anymore…and that was a big bonus ’cause he really knows the weed. Im shopping elsewhere for a while.

I come in about twice a week to this shop and since the first day everyone has remembered me by name and it’s always nice coming in there. They’ve got the best people working behind the counters out of any shop in Portland. Hands down best shop.
As someone who uses medical marijuana, I was disappointed that they were playing loud techno/rave music. A relaxing atmosphere is my first priority. The medical side of the store is less busy, and it is nice that patients can bypass the long recreational line. The decor is so nice, the flower is so tasty, just wish I could deal with the crowds and the loud music. The budtender was friendly. Go for the Platinum Animal Cookies.
This place is a true dispensary, because they are dispensing with a lot of the myths and misinformation surrounding strains and their effects, and are educating customers on the real science of cannabis. Everyone uses cannabis for a different reason- pain, anxiety, creativity, depression, socializing, sleep, music, art, etc. The simplistic idea that there are only 2 kinds of cannabis in this world, indica and sativa, is outdated and frankly wrong. That’s why Farma doesn’t organize their product by indica/sativa/hybrid. Rather, they have a color scale that indicates the effects that particular strain is known for.
The budtenders here will listen to you, maybe ask a couple questions, then point you in the right direction.
I ended up getting a high CBD strain that was almost a 1:1 ratio. It was honestly one of the nicest smoking experiences I can remember in my life. I had been in a grumpy, frustrated mood all day. Halfway through our joint, I was excitedly telling my wife a story, laughing, euphoric, beautiful, and thought, “why was I in such a bad mood? Life is great, this weed is great, everything’s gonna be okay.”
…it’s overpriced. The most overpriced… I paid $9.60 for a HALF GRAM PRE ROLL. There’s no place that says if it’s a half or whole gram or what.
Top grade cannabis shop, all the way from the manner in which the product is displayed to the people to the product itself. As you walk in the door, you’ll feel like you died and were reborn, all at the same time, in a matter of seconds. The shop is clean and chic and the menu clearly states cannabinoid percentages and other useful information. The strains are organized via a color coding system indicating strain kind and strength, which the staff will happily explain to you if it’s your first time in (and it was mine). Something unique to this shop that I guarantee will keep you coming back is that the strains are not strictly JUST sativa or indica. From the get-go the staff eloquently and professionally explain the science behind the benefits of the hybrid strain, which all of their strains happen to be. They also use only one lab, so you can be sure there won’t be any mix-up/contamination. In a nutshell, these guys know what they’re talking about. Highly recommended! And a free preroll upon review! It doesn’t get any better than that!!!
I have enjoyed my experience almost every time I’ve come into this location. I stop in when I’m close to the area visiting friends. The shop is clean and professional, the product available for view is displayed nicely and showcases their selection. However, their selection is rather limited in comparison to other Portland dispensaries, no big deal if you’re educated and know the basics of what you’re looking for. The girl at the front checking ID’s was friendly and efficient, the budtender was helpful, but also didn’t seem interested in most of my questions (she mostly wanted to stick to the sativa, indica, hybrid classifications & highest THC testers. BORING). I ended up with a solid couple of grams, and a few edibles. If you’re in the area it’s a good spot to go and check out for yourself.
Nice place just overpriced on literally everything
Went here the other day and had a pleasant experience. This place presents cannabis in a different way than what I’ve seen in many shops. To me, it’s a very scientific and geared towards medical use for specific ailments. For example if you ask what’s the best strain for “X” problem, they can tell you and give you reasons to back that claim up. The staff was eager to answer any questions and were quite proud of their product. And they should be, all their flower smells and looks amazing.

The edibles seem a bit condensed in space. It’d also be nice to have text notifications on deals.

Farma is something different. The way they organize their strains, the number of unique cross-strains, the inclusion of terpene concentration on the menu cards, all of things set Farma apart from your typical dispensary.
The atmosphere here is always welcoming. The staff are very knowledgeable, and super friendly. The flower and concentrates available are all of superior quality.
It won’t take you long to see that Farma is a collection of individuals who are genuinely passionate about the plant itself, and all the possibilities it has to offer. Cannabis is medicine, and this is a place that wants to lift it to its full potential.

I’ve been exploring dispensaries and this is a stop you definitely want to make. Extremely knowledgable crew with some top quality meds.
Six months ago, I enrolled in the OMMP program to see if cannabis could help with my intractable neuropathic pain. As a newbie, I did my research and sought out the best dispensary I could find, which was Farma on Hawthorne. The staff were very helpful and provided excellent advice regarding effective strains to treat my condition. After a little trial and error, I zeroed in on strains that help the most and now have a regimen that works and has allowed me to reduce the dosages of two side-effect laden anti-seizure pain meds. I was able to completely eliminate another atypical pain med and an anti-anxiety med as well. I couldn’t have done it without the good folks at Farma and their assortment of high-CBD flower, concentrates and edibles. If you appreciate a scientific approach to cannabis as medicine, Farma is the place to go. They always keep a spot at the head of the line for OMMP patients, so no worries about the “THC crowd” elbowing out the “CBD crowd.”

This is the 4th place I’ve been to in the last two days. I’ve just been trying to get a good feel of how these types of places will operate, in general. This was the only place that collects you WHOLE NAME and SIGNATURE. It was also the only place where I had to wait in any kind of line. My GF and I waited maybe 20-30 minutes AND the only reason we went there was because of a particular strain that Leafly told they had. Guess what — didn’t have it. Gave them my info and waited in line for NOTHING. Worst experience yet.

This is one of the best dispensaries I’ve ever been to. My budtender Noel was friendly and attentive and took the time to show me lots of different strains. I love the layout of the store and was really impressed with their dedication to organic flowers.
Farma has an amazing variety of flowers, edibles, clones, pre-rolls too.. Seriously-the Animal Cookies-around 26-29 percent THC- delicious, slow burning, compact, dense, colorful buds that get me so seriously stoned, one of my repeat buys..along with their GSC at 28 pTHC, and Gorilla Glue #4 at 26.9 are some of my fav’s, and are only a few strains among so many that range from heavy THC/no CBD all the way through many hybrids to the HEAVY-CBD/NO-THC for the body ease no head effect…
I think Farma has what you need, and so much more…

Farma has to be my favorite dispensary in Portland.
The primary thing I have been looking for in a dispensary is where the staff is willing and able to tell me as much as possible about the products and flower, specifically the differences between strains and medical possibilities.
They do this heavily at Farma. The last visit, where I bought three eighths, the bud tender spent a long time explaining Terpenes to me and then going deep on different strains that could match what I wanted.
The flower at Farma tends to be Clean Green Certified or some other type of organic-like certification, and for the few strains that aren’t they still come from a farm that is as close to organic as they can come. They also have a huge selection of flower with a lot more printed information about each bud type, including details about how it will make you feel and its Terpene percentage.
The building itself has been called “Nordic Chic,” which is true, it has a Scandinavian minimalist feel. I personally like this, even though it is a bit upscale feeling.
All of these factors would lead you to expect that their products are priced up, but actually they are right down the middle on price (maybe even a bit on the cheaper side) for flower that is not from a pre-package company. I got a “pre-packaged” quarter from them, but it was just from their bud that they were almost out of so they just put it in some of their bottles and lowered the price. This meant that I ended up with a quarter of organic Oregon Huckleberry for $45. That’s a great deal no matter where you get it from, but it is especially impressive here. You should not expect to get an ounce of their premium bud for basement prices, but instead to have a fair price for really good flower.
All of this said, they do not have a ton of other products. They only have a few edibles, topical, and otherwise, and there are very little concentrates. The products they do have, though, are top notch and they can really stand by. They have different candles, storage containers, and vaporizers, which are all on the higher end, but, again, on point with quality. It is those other products where you will likely see a difference in the price, their paraphernalia is a little bit costly.
Over all, it is hard to go to another shop for flower after you go to Farma. This is especially true if you are sensitive to farming methods or having difficulty finding what is right for you.
I am a believer that Farma knows Marijuana products. I was amazed by the amount of knowledge each bud tender had about their product. One of the most pleasant and inspiring visits I have had in a dispensary. I learn more about marijuana every time I visit the store, not to mention they have the most potent marijuana. I love Farma! The two times I’ve been the budtenders were suuuuper helpful and knowledgeable about the strains they had and their growers. My only negative is they don’t classify by indica or sativa, instead they have colors and then dots to indicate how intense the high is. I guess I don’t really mind that, I just think it’s a little weird. Either way, I’m getting exactly what I want and a great descriptions of what to expect. Plus, they have at least 2 or 3 high CBD strains which is one of the reasons I was so excited for legalization in the first place! Will definitely be a regular buyer from Farma
Phenomenal dispensary! Every flower I’ve ever purchased from them was terrific (in particular, their strain Equanimity is unlike anything I’ve ever tried). I’d rank Farma only second to Calyxes as Portland’s best dispensary. Pricing is relatively decent given the quality. The place has an almost laboratory/sterile feel, which I don’t mind, and the bud tenders are the best informed I’ve come across. They’re all about the terps here – very scientific approach, almost to a fault. I like their non-indica/sativa categorization which focuses on effect over lineage. Great place!

Without hesitation I would say this the best place in portland to buy anything thc or cbd related. Unlike some other places, Farma is clean, organized and professional with an awesome staff. More than a dispensary. A destination. If I could give Farma six stars I would. This is the only place that can interpret the lab results to go beyond indica/sativa and give me useful information about what to expect. This is also the most professional dispensary I’ve ever visited.

Where do I begin.. You walk into this clean, well put together dispensary, that gives off a welcoming tone. They categorize their flower based off effect rather than just indica or sativa. All of their flower is grown by reputable growers, known for their organic techniques. It’s nice to see a dispensary that genuinely cares about their patients, and their products.
top three for quality weed in pdx. pricey, but really really good tasting (and looking). facility is nice, but small. wait times are killer and have walked away more than once due to 20+ minute wait times. blackberry cheesecake was my favorite from them.

Good location. Interior is nice, although all the white, metal and glass almost feels like it should be in the Pearl District rather than Hawthorne. Some items I wanted were on the menu, but actually out of stock. Staff seemed nice enough, but I can’t say it felt super warm and inviting. Knowledgeable staff. Got some nice Astral OG flower at a decent price.
Farma is the Apple Store of cannabis. It is a modern sophisticated atmosphere the employees are so knowledgeable and nice.
The mid priced flower here is amazing, and the top-shelf is the stuff of legend. Awesome space, friendly staff, and some of the best quality in town. A bit more pricey than some spots, but worth it in my opinion.
I’ve been here about 6 times now and will continue to come back. This one of the friendlier dispensaries in town. The staff is knowledgeable and super helpful. Their prices are a little higher than other spots but the quality is definitely on par with the prices and variety. I felt a little overwhelmed at first coming in but the staff were super helpful and patient with me, we even joked around quite a bit! They have a great selection and we’re very informative about different strains.

I work at another dispensary so my standards are extremely high for service, quality, etc. Farma was great! The prices are all around 10-15/gram which seems a bit high but all the flower is organic and top shelf. Totally worth it over shwaggy $6/grams.
They do full terpene profiles for (some of) their flower and don’t classify it as sativa vs. indica and instead by the effect of each strain individually. The budtendress was great. One of the budtenders gave us the full deets on all the vaporizers that they carry. Super knowledgeable and friendly. I will most definitely be returning and recommending my friends on the east side to Farma.

The guy at the counter although knowledgeable lectured me in the dangers of buying genetics instead of processing my details. The bud tender on the other hand was very helpful. Her suggested preroll was just what I needed.

Lives up to the hype! We had a great time at Farma on the first day of edible sales. The environment is welcoming and feels like a well-managed store, not a typical weed shop. Not a black light in sight. We received attentive, professional service – and a cute Farma bag to boot! I think I have a new favorite.

Farma is tha shiznit and they always always have top shelf flower and good deals on cartridges. This is the only other high end shop I go to besides five zero trees because I like the atmosphere and how clean everything is. The store was beautiful, the staff was quite knowledgeable and I liked their unique approach to classifying the flower based more on terpenes than the long time use of the terms sativa, indica and hybrids. However, the prices are extremely high, I would hate for such a cool place to go under because it’s quite easy to find quality product in SE for much much cheaper. As a budtender myself, this place has my it oat respect, but maybe take a closer look at your price points.
Quality meds with an emphasis on organically grown flower. Friendly and knowledgeable staff in a relaxed, but professional environment. This should be the blueprint for pdx area shops.

Farma is hands down one of the best – if not THE best – dispensary in Portland to get high-quality cannabis and great service. Staff is the most knowledgeable in the city, extremely friendly, and most important, the bud is perfection. They carry some of the best growers and strains around. I’ve never been disappointed. And the staff makes the experience all the better.
Really good bud but the process is ridiculous . You have to check in and wait in a waiting room like its a doctors office. It’s a pleasant wait until you realize the girl checking people in forgot to put you down on the list after it took five minutes to check in. She then calls me by the wrong name and tells me I’m okay to go in. If the other local places weren’t closed for inspection, I wouldn’t have came here. The atmosphere feels like a doctors office and what I would imagine the scene to look like if the Apple Store sold weed. Great product but terrible service and atmosphere.
What can I say that all the media and all of The OMMP community hasn’t said already. Perfect, absolutely perfect. Loyal, hard working, driven, knowledgeable, compassionate, and just good humans. I love these people and they have become like family. Healers and Naturalists go see what the cannabis industry is truly about.
I wanted to update my review since this place has become soooo much better as time has gone on. Yes, you will be smoking clean flower if you buy it here. Yes, (to me at least) that’s worth spending a little more money. Yes, the shop looks beautiful. Yes, the people who run it are super cool! This is one of two shops (the other being calyxes, which hasn’t bought in to the leafly mafia) that I go to exclusively now.

if you are looking for quality medicine and a highly educated staff, then look no further than Farma. Jeremy was extremely informative when I inquired about the vigorous testing they do with each strain. Farma spends the time and effort to ensure that each patient receives the medication that best suits them. I could go on and on about how informative the staff was, only to spend the same time talking about how friendly they were as well. I recommend everyone gives Farma a chance. thank you guys.

I wanted to like this place as it carries two growers I really like, Resin Ranchers and Gnome Grown Organics.
It’s clean, neat and the budtenders are friendly and knowledgeable.
The rub is there is no 1/4 discount for buying two 1/8s with already high prices it was a huge sticker shock of nearly $20 more than what I normally pay for the same exact product from the same grower, at other dispensaries.
This is blatantly taking advantage of the location. Which is a shame, they offer great products, they are just price gouging. =/
Wow and wow again. I really like just about everything about this place. The display cases, the chairs, and the decor are on point, fam. Organization is visually satisfying. Nice job. I’m really impressed with how clean and organized the shop is, but I am most impressed with your budtenders. I was helped by a young woman that really knew her stuff! I was blown away by her explanations of terpenes and how THC% isn’t always the best indication as to what’s right for the individual. There was also an older gentleman at the check-in counter that was also very helpful. Great people. Atmosphere overall was great. My friend and I really enjoyed our experience. The only negative thing I can think of is that your prices are a little bit high. I’ve seen higher at other shops, though, so it is what it is. Thanks again! Cheers!

Okay I have not been here, however I had questions, as my wife suffers from Chronic Migraines. I spoke to Jeremy who knows his stuff. I have spoken to many people who are in the industry and get frustrated because not many know what they are talking about. Especially when it comes to Cannabis as Medicine.
Jeremy was knowledgeable, polite, and excited. He recognizes the issues facing Cannabis. My hope is that my wife can come here and they can help her understand what she needs and how she can manage the daily pain that has effected every aspect of her life.
I’ve been meaning to stop by Farma for quite some time now. I finally made it over there today, and I’m so glad I did! Its inviting, really cool cannabis displays, the decor is beautiful, friendly and super helpful/ knowledgable budtenders. Reasonable prices. I felt welcomed and appreciated! Will definitely be back!

Look, here’s the thing:
You run a business that, for no fault of your own, is strictly cash only. Unless you are prohibited by regulation from doing so, there is NO REASON why you should not build tax into your prices.
This is true in every state, but especially true in Oregon, where consumers are not typically subject to tax added at the register.
I would much rather buy a $12 gram than pay $11.80 for a $10 gram. This seems like a really basic failing of customer service.
The staff is super helpful with finding out what kind of medicine works best for which condition and the knowledge they lay down about their medicine is unbelievably helpful in so many way.
Trying out their RSO right now and so far it has been doing wonders for my leg.
