2. I am a huge fan of this dispensary. They have a friendly vibe, gorgeous display cases custom made and great selection of flower and oil cartridges. I really dig this spot. A+

3. Service: Good service, very friendly staff there to take the time to help you find the right strain, edibles, and more to meet your needs.

   Knowledge: Basic knowledge of strains, knowing which strain is more dominant for sativa vs indica. CBD and THC levels were listed or known, but most dispensaries don’t, so no big deal.

   Meds: More than a dozen strains, well known and newer strains alike, good quality. A decent selection of edibles, oils, topicals, and concentrates.

   Atmosphere: This for me, makes the place unique, pool table, lounge area, it’s inviting and makes you want to hang out for a bit.

   I consider myself a critical reviewer, I don’t give out all 5’s just because I picked up some decent meds, a dispensary review involves careful consideration and my reviews reflect that.

4. I absolutely love this place, it is one of my favorites! The service is exemplary, the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is a home like setting; an awesome environment to make new acquaintances.

   They have an awesome selection of medibles. I am never disappointed. I would definitely recommend this to others.

   I need not forget to mention the pool table in there!

6. I have found my FOREVER DISPENSARY!! Everyone here was incredibly helpful and kind. I highly recommend this business for anyone who uses marijuana for medical issues, as they are well versed in the different strains and their individual effects for certain ailments. I have MS (Multiple Sclerosis) which comes with too many side effects and pain to even begin to describe. They were able to break down which strain/form would help each separate ailment. Vanessa & Bryan were SO HELPFUL and more than happy to go through the different strains with us.
   -The CBD strain (Nubia) helps me sleep without the regular pain medication I would have to take — It relaxes the muscles and fights insomnia.
   -The transdermal patch is also fantastic as well. You can cut the patch also so the dose is as low as you need.
   -The Irie CBD Dab Rocks are probably one of the best highs out there- it is something I use to get motivated in the mornings and gives a very different feel than any other CBD strain on the market.
   -We also purchased some of the Truly Pure Pens & Cartridges. They have several different pens to choose from, but these do always last the longest. The ATF cartridge was primo. Took away the pain while offering a good dose of the giggles.

   They are bringing the personalized experience to every customer and are not just a ‘pot shop’ like a lot of the places here.
   IF YOU WANT A DISPENSARY THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS—THIS IS THE PLACE!!!

7. First of all, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They made me feel at home. This resource center has a wide variety of medibles that are terminal strength, triple fortified with butter, bubble hash, and also a tincture. they also have topicals to apply locally. tried some a little bit ago and it really worked. they also had a selection of hash and concentrates as well as an average size but impressive flower selection, about 10 strains i believe. they also have a spacious and inviting lounge with couches, chairs, tables, and last but not lest an awesome pool table for use to all OMMP cardholders. there are no fees or monthly charges to use the center, which i thought was sweet. check this place out! you wont be disappointed.

8. Friendly staff. Prices on-par with most other dispensaries. Very small, so selection of non-flower items isn’t huge, but you’ll find what you need, most likely.

21. Love the approach here….no membership fees or door fees, no intrusive paperwork to fill out, and freebies on your first visit? Great! Picked up some Girl Scout Cookies and it was divine. Had some Bubba Kush that was above average, but the GSC takes the cake….haha. Hope everyone makes this their dispensary of choice in Foster-Powell. I have found a home here.

22. I had a medible here called a mahjoun. It was incredibly potent! It’s a small treat made with honey and nuts that is suitable for celiacs (which I am). It was tasty and the effect was pretty remarkable. After an hour or so, my lips were buzzing and I had a numbness in my entire body, but especially in my face. The pain I experience from TMJ was non-existent!

23. I’ve been checking out lots of shops in the area lately and Alternative Remedies is by far my favorite to visit. I always feel welcomed and the staff is super nice. They carry all my favorite strains and are a reliable source for concentrates.

Wish I could say the meds were as upstanding as the rest of my ratings but I have to be honest and say I wasn’t too satisfied when I got home. word of advise since they have the area too relax take the sec. to sample your meds before leaving. 43. This is an excellent dispensary. When I first got there, the dilapidated building was more than a little off-putting, but that quickly ended. The service is excellent. The prices are way good, with daily deals. Plus, smoking lounge. No buying blind here.

    The Grape Kush I got here may have been the best purple I’ve ever had. So try it.

I have my place I like to go but we wanted to check out other local medical dispensaries in search of stronger medibles…I was absolutely 110% elated to find (a little spendy but worth EVERY dollar) a medible with the potency I would make for myself. They also have topical balms and oils that are far superior to anything I have found thus far and not to forget the cannabis….Ummm…. definitely amazing medical quality pain control!!!! Everyone; staff and patrons alike were friendly, helpful and professional. Tom was especially knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge, which was greatly appreciated. Sweet treats for sure! 45. This is my new favorite place! Super-friendly staff and really nice vibes in the lounge. Fully accessible, clean and safe place with comfortable lighting and seating. I hope more dispensaries adopt this type of lounge service, coming here is so much better than the awkward experiences I’ve had at even the best places around Portland today. Their buds are superb – instead of offering 20 different strains of mediocre flowers, AR has a more concise selection of primo blossom. I can’t wait to go back to Alternative Remedies for my medication.

Their Cinex hybrid flavor is perfect for getting the creative juices flowing, motivating positive thought, and easing pain without lethargy.Ideally suited for a day outdoors or finishing projects. They also have a wide assortment of medibles and more. They’re approachable and friendly, and gave me a very accurate description of what Cinex would do for me. Great people, great place, I’ll be back for sure.

All of their products are hand crafted organically with the utmost care. Staff menbers are knowledgeable and welcoming to first timers as well as returning patients. No door fees and a chill lounge setting with couches and a nice pool table make it a perfect place to medicate with friends. Any OMMP patient or caregiver with valid card and identification would be wise to add Alternative Remedies as another trusted destination of the highest quality.

51. This dispensary doesn’t wow you from the outside and it feels a little cramped inside, but they certainly deliver where it matters. I visited today and picked up a 1/2 ounce of their Purple Urkle, which was priced in the premium tier, for $102.00. This included the 15% discount that they have for that tier on Thursdays, but I was still completely blown away. Their premium tier is actually premium as well as I have not seen Purple Urkle flower this beautiful before. Completely covered in trichomes, gorgeous deep purple color, not too dry and smelled like heaven. I used to pay $115.00 for a 1/4 of premium flower at a dispensary I frequented in Beaverton so finding this dispensary was a great surprise. The budtender that helped me was very kind and respectful as well. Great flower, kind and helpful budtenders and amazing prices. 5-star dispensary all the way.

The meds are top shelf and an abundance of edibles more then I’ve seen at other places. 62. 1st visited to check out their in-house flower & grabbed an ounce of The Nubia. Incredible quality for the cost of a great 2:1 CBD strain. They are a small shop but have a well-curated selection of many fine products. Their $4-tier is certainly the best quality I’ve found (grabbed 2 ounces of my personal favorite, Blue City Diesel & it’s fantastic!). I appreciate their post-tax pricing & point-of-sale packaging very much. Great selection of products all-around & Josh is my preferred budtender @ my favorite local dispensary/grow operation! 74. Love the melts and atmosphere but sometimes I get a couple short and snoody bud tenders that act like they don’t want to be there. If I was working at the only dispensary in Oregon that has fire melts and rosin I’d be super stoked to be there. Other than that, great place!

Big tv, red zone on Sunday, soft couches, dogs welcome, big bathroom, nice people, pool table, decent music, good friends often sharing medicine and his mom cleaned up. A great place to hang out and nobody charging to get in.

    Now knock out one wall and put in a counter with weed. Beutiful meds in all forms. Nice, caring and knowledgeable, people to help you select your meds.

85. I came in for the first time on Halloween. It was so awesome to come in and see a party in full swing. There was a pinata with medication inside. Everyone was very welcoming. 110. So I found out recently that the only place that sells fullmelt hash in the area is Alternative Remedies, so I stopped in for my first time a couple days ago. It’s a smaller dispensary, with a small waiting area before going into the back where the budtender is. The back is really clean with a glass counter showing some of their products and some flower out to look at. The hash display is separate and to the left of the counter. It’s cooled so the hash stays fresh and doesnt grease up. They had a nice selection of IWE as well as some amazing flower. I ended up picking out some dY”Y=dY”Y= Death Star & Candyland X Chem 91 5/6 ai,. The flowers were cultivated by Nelson&Co and extracted by Permaculture Solutions. Both examples are 70I1/4 and melt amazingly into a puddle, leaving little residue in my quartz banger and is easily cleaned with a q-tip after each dab. They both taste amazing and represent their flower counterparts very well IMO. The Candy/Chem is my favorite of the two. It smells and tastes like a sweet pile of dirt soaked in fuel. I will definitely be back to grab some more. So, if you’re looking for fullmelt IWE Hash in Portland, I’d definitely check out Permaculture Solutions and Alternative Remedies.
