22. This Dispensary is amazing. I feel like I’m walking into my local coffee shop. Everyone greets me with a warm smile, they know who I am and they know my favorites but have fun suggesting new strains that fit my style. The environment is laid back in the best way possible. Everything and everyone is professional without being stuffy. I love the bud and the quality of each tier is different but all are exceptional. They have so many choices for each price range, and there are enough bud tenders with amazing knowledge ready to help to avoid waits. They also have the best deals. The other night was bogo night. “Buy one eighth, get one free.” They had quite a few strains available through the deal and both eighths I purchased were excellent quality.

27. Love this spot. I moved to PDX this past summer. I tried a quite a few spots around the city, and I have to say they are one of the most consistent dispensaries around. Flowers are always the finest and of great quality. Staff is exceptional, and always super friendly. I dig that they don’t push you toward the top shelf. If it’s good bud it’s good bud, and they will let you know. My man Tone usually takes care of me when I come in, he always knows just what to hook me up with. Go Sharks!

87. As a newcomer to Oregon, I haven’t learned my way around yet. And since I love to hike, I am doubly lost. On one such excursion into the Cascadian wilderness, I became lost – bewildered as to where I was because I couldn’t even navigate by the stars because of a popular feature of Oregon – clouds.

    I was down to my last blunt. The cartridges were gone. All the Blue Dream flower was LOOOONG ago enjoyed. Just a blunt. And in my current situation, it might as well have been the LAST BLUNT IN THE UNIVERSE. I was left with no other alternative, I prayed.

    There has never been a more sincere, profound and desperate prayer heard in the backwater of Oregon than mine.

    Hours later, I was bluntless, cold and wondering if I would ever see the shining temple known as Nectar and Leroy, the High Priest. Then, out of the darkened shadows of night upon me shown the light of the a fairy, A WEED FAIRY, a manifestation of the green world named Chloe. She held out her hand and beckoned me to close my eyes and allow her to deliver me from the wilderness and unto the warm, loving care of Nectar (the one on 53rd). Chloe The Weed Fairy bid all of us mortals farewell – many tears fell due to her departure. Her absence was only healed by the plenty of the fieldsaEUR| now available to all who have been blessed by the green light of The Weed Fairy (and those that visit Nectar).

    So lads and lasses alike, raise up thy bowls and receive the blessing of the green world. And to the the blown winds, resting stones and waters that gush forth from the land known as Oregon, let thy spirit be raised aloft to great the universe and the wisdom beyond.

    And if you are out and about and you see a star with a slight green tint, know that the Weed Fairy wishes you well.

But they have listened to the customers concerns and have vastly improved the system, even on the busiest days it won’t take longer than 10 minutes to get what you need. 125. I’m an OMMP card holder and been a regular patron to this Nectar for a long time, the bud tenders are great and knowledgeable and usually the products are awesome. But I had a not so wonderful experience recently, I purchased some oil that ended tasting like burnt hair. I dab with an extra thick quartz banger at low temp and used clean tools…so sadly, it had to be the quality of the oil. I don’t usually ask for a receipt because they are pretty good at making recommendations, but I wish I had this time. I called and explained the situation to management hoping maybe they would make an exception one time. The manager said they would look into finding the transaction in their system and get back to me, she took my information down but I never was called back. She did tell
     Me however it was very unlikely they would take it back. It was a little disappointing that there wasn’t much flexibility on their part to provide me with a good quality product that I was satisfied with. I would have understood but it was even more disappointing to not be called back to confirm they couldn’t. I will probably be taking my regular business elsewhere

I have been coming here for a while and have always been happy, the other day on 9/24/16 I had and issue, but with little question and some research, they made it right and then some because of the inconvenience, the new lead Josh was excellent, with awsome customer service like that I will always keep coming back!

133. I love this location. It happens to be the closest dispensary to my house and I could not be happier. Their Purple Kush from TJ farms is incredible and the Tangie on the lower shelf is a sleeper hit as well. The staff at this Nectar location are great and always have good recommendations. The weed is choice if you go top shelf and everything feels like you are getting what you pay for if you go lower, but, I have never gotten any bunk weed even from the lower shelf.

     The last two times they haven’t had advertised products in stock.
     Today I stopped by for the blue city diesel special and they didn’t have any. I could understand if they ran out, but I was there close to when they opened and they didn’t have it in stock. Why advertise daily specials if you don’t have the product?
     It seems this store is the red headed step child of the chain.
     While convenient, not having what you advertise makes the decision to drive further easier.

     The guy with glasses who was working last night, October 28th, suggested a sub par preroll. He chalked it up as great, but IT WAS THE WORST. Why even sell a horribly rolled out joint with a loose sagging crutch, containing THE WORST SHAKE. It was so bad it tasted like tabacco. All the other flower was too dry, the fancy glass containers for their 1/8s and 1/4s are not airtight. I would not recommend this place just for that. It’s open late, but just go further into town for bud that’s worth it.
     Atmosphere is a 3, good people terrible product.

Concentrates here are top notch, my only complaint is the low quality flowers. Many of the strains have extra leaf and stem, and don’t quite have the bag appeal I’m looking for. Besides that, Nectar is a fantastic place to shop and is recommended.

180. This is the second time I am reviewing this Nectar location. When I first started going here it was pretty decent then it started to get worst as far as customer service. The last time I went was the absolute worst. The budtender never offered me a menu, he was so busy interacting with his friend at the register that he almost forgot to give me my change, and on top of that the 1/8 I bought was a little light. Plus I never got the free taffy promotion he did not even mention it! Honestly the product is good but their customer service this day was not.

They have really good deals sometimes but on deal days, the lines are so long and out of control that you often just end up standing in a mob of customers instead of any sort of line. Their biggest deal is get two pre-rolls on a purchase of $20 or more, but the pre-rolls don’t hit and it’s just a gram of shake of you decide to take them apart instead.

They are so busy catering to the Rec users now that the medical side is getting the shaft. Every week I come in they have less and less flower for medical users. They have a bunch of people helping the Rec users but only one or two on the medical side. Looks like they took all the flower from the patients and gave it to the Rec users. I get that I can go over to the Rec side and get medical prices but why should I have to battle the crowd on that side when I am also buying concentrates from the medical side. I was told that the patients would always be number one but clearly that’s not the case anymore.
     Guess I will start looking for a new place.

This time he got no thank of service-which is fine. They have this system that they rave about and it has all these problems and is slow and it won’t let them cash a patient out if another patients order has already been started so even tho I know what I want and they have it all ready I have to sit there and be late to work while the patient before me shops and looks at this bud and this bud and this bud, which is cool I know you want to look at all the different kinds to make sure you are getting what you want, I just feel like if that’s the case then they shouldn’t let more than one person back at a time.. I mean the first time I went in there I waited 10 minutes to get into the back just to wait another 10 minutes.. I would of just left if I knew I was going to be waiting again once I got to the back. But that aside the owner is really nice I met him my first time in there and he gave me a free gram for my first visit, other then him I’m not too impressed with the staff, they are okay, nice I guess but i don’t know… The waiting area is nice which I guess is a good thing since you are going to probably be waiting a little bit. Oh well I will be going back again for the convenience, I’m sure. I do know it is a fairly new business so maybe after some time they will have some improvements I’m not totally giving up on this place.

     I’ve only had one issue since becoming a regular since last spring. It was busy and I ended up receiving the wrong order. I gave the location an email, and to my surprise they responded promptly the next morning. For my trouble they gave me the correct order and threw in a top shelf pre-roll. Maybe the coolest part of the interaction was when a budtender gave me a personal phone call to apologize and see when I wanted to pick up my order.

     Overall Nectar is my favorite dispensary chain. I like how they are all over the Portland area, but still takes the time to make it’s customers feel appreciated.

     What I did not know at the time was the huge problems producers were having with the new OLCC requirements. Needless to say, things have gotten much better.

     They have amazing selections of flower and dabs for great prices. Staff is awesome. Budtenders are knowledgeable. Even the cheaper selections are above average.

     My only issue I have is with the site itself. I know this is a recreational facility, but the parking lot and stairs into the building is rough on those of us with disabilities.

740. I used to really like Nectar. However, the last few months have seen a big dip in quality. Their bottom shelf prerolls used to be very good, but now only 3-8% strains. Tonight was the last straw. I purchased 2 grams of aEURoegrapeaEUR flower. I received one that was 25% one was 20% for whatever reason when I was expecting both to be 25%. Since they changed to solid black bottles you can no longer check what you are getting. One was the most stemmed buds I’ve ever seen. The other was basically just shake and I am certain is not an actual gram. Very disappointing.
