This location is bright & spacious with south-facing, frosted windows, and brightly hued walls. Don’t let the far south, strip mall location, and its shitty parking lot situation dissuade you from visiting. These guys know their stuff, are friendly and patient, and welcome me back like family (the good kind). They have a healthy selection of flower, from premium bud to economy shelf, as well as prerolls ($5 including tax), concentrates (including the best prices I’ve found for Select Strains products), edibles, tinctures and more. Their prices are reasonable, probably in part to them having their own farms (no middle on their products) and frugal shoppers know that strip malls have relatively cheap rent so their overhead is lower. They have locations in Portland, Eugene area, and at the coast. I’ve been a regular here for about six months and consider this my “home” dispensary.

I used to love this store. It was one of the two shops that I’d go to, but never again. Dude locked the door just before ten. Then I tried to call and was rudely spoken to on the phone. I’m a medical patient, and I will never let my shadow find their door. I am also letting all my friends that I got to start shopping here know, to not give their money to these jackals. That was one hundred percent a jackhole move, and refuse to even be reasonable. I know that losing my busnisess and my friends busniess won’t be much, but the harsh way that he even answered the phone was even enough to make someone that doesn’t believe in posting up reviews unless it’s to praise. Saddens me to lose this place, but I won’t accept the blatant disrespect. With that, good bye High Cascade.

I went there yesterday for the first time in a while, after looking on this app for some good bud. I got a quarter of an ounce of King Kush for 44 bucks, unbeatable prices. The budtenders are amazing, the gent that helped me, walked me through the different kinds they had and what he suggested. (We are both Sativa lovers) he suggested King Kush at a whopping 28%. They have their own farm and that is why their prices can’t be beat. The Kush was unbelievable, I became one with my couch and I never loved it more. I’m telling you I’m never ever going anywhere else but here. 🙂

I moved to South Salem in June of 2017. A short time later I found Hi Cascade. From day 1 I knew this was my new spot. They have a wide range of strains and price tiers to fit your budget and have you walking out of the door feeling like you spent your money wisely. It’s always nice to feel like the person tending to you wants to see you happy and make you feel like you made the right choice. I’ve been in there numerous times where a customer comes in saying i only have enough for one gram and they end up leaving with more than that and very happy! The inside is very very clean and the employees are incredibly nice and very willing to help you and answer any questions. Only problem I have ever had is I once bought a joint that the flower had been to finely ground up and was falling out of the Crutch. I brought it back and they replaced it with no questions asked and apologized for the inconvenience.
Also don’t forget to tip, they like to smoke too!

I remember about 4 to 3 months ago they had strawberry cough but ever since then things went down. Their minis are definitely good but are harsh a lot of the time. The only way you are getting great herb here is paying too much. It wouldn’t matter though if you’re super wealthy overall give this place a three

I used to go here a couple times a week at least, but my last 3 visits have caused me to look elsewhere. Their prices aren’t as competitive as they used to be now that other dispensaries lowered their prices as well. The 5 gram specials were awesome, now there is rarely anything quality to choose from at that level. Also a couple of the budtenders here can get real moody if you’re a bit indecisive about what strain you want. Its not a bad place overall but I’m not gonna go out of my way to go here anymore.

Hi Cascade is the only place in town I go to buy bud. Not only do their prices beat everyone in town, their quality is some of the highest I’ve found at a dispensary. Used to go to this place a lot but the prices aren’t anything special anymore. Better flower can be had for cheaper elsewhere. That being said, they are a much better decision than kayashack down the street. And herbal grasslands the other way on commercial is a joke. I guess if I was in the neighborhood and couldn’t make it to another dispensary in time I would stop in.

The Salem scene is getting pretty oversaturated particularly in South Salem and it seems like everyone has great product and good service. I cannot say that High Casacade is a cut above everyone else in the area but it is a very good place. Nice girls up front, knowledgable budtenders in back and good quality flower as well as a solid selection. Only one concern- there is no reason to scan people’s i.d., just check it. H.C. is the only place I know of that keeps your info. I don’t like that.

Hi cascade has become my go to dispensary by far. It has the best people, prices and of course cannabis. I always get great knowledgeable recommendations here from all the budtenders, especially their MK ultra they just got in, awesome stuff! Even the minis here are good especially because I don’t know of another place where you can get popcorn buds of pretty good stuff for 18 an eighth. That’s clutch when you cant always get top shelf but don’t want low grade stuff. Trust me I’ve seen other places version of even 25-30 dollar eighths…. its not pretty. I actually like the same strains its good for medical patients that need that same potency and strain week after week and if you find one you like you know its there at least. Anyways, great place that I think other dispensaries should take note of.

I’ve been to several dispensaries here in town as well as the surrounding counties. I’ve run the gamut of them all, from high priced boutique clubs, to poor, one room starter clubs. The atmosphere and attitude of the former is too pretentious for me, and the latter makes me just feel uncomfortable.Hi cascae resides on the comfortable side without being too uppity while providing quality product at reasonable prices

I went in there my second time today because the first was just too good. I’m a budget smoker and can’t purchase the top shelf, but they always have a good deal going on. The Budtender Trevor, is top notch on customer service as are the staff, the quality for the prices are really unbeatable.
I’m not sure if other dispensaries add in the tax with the listed amount, but it’s helpful when you have $20 and need to know a specific total.

You are insane if you shop anywhere else in Salem. The people who reviewed 1 and 2 stars don’t know what they are talking about. The ONLY reason the employees would be rude or impatient with you, is if you were being a c**t, so figure it out. Otherwise, they have the best flower prices and selection for those prices. I mean, sure, you could get an 1/8th for 2 bucks less at other places, but it’s going to show. It’ll be dry, stick-like pieces of pine cone s**t. $18 and $24 1/8ths and they’ve NEVER been poor quality. Dense, fresh, sparkly buds. And it’s ALWAYS weighed out per order. None of that prepackaged bulls**t you get from said cheaper places. And have you noticed how other dispensaries bribe you with free product if you leave a review? Kinda makes you wanna give a good one, right? F**k that. This place is legitimately amazing. Real people that won’t put on a show of fake customer service like you get from other places. People that wouldn’t go out of their way to sell you s**t you don’t need because they were told to push it. People that’ll show you the door if you walk in like an entitled ass.

I like their staff and most of their products but the one thing that really pisses me off is HOW TIGHT THEY ROLL THE PREROLLS. Why are they so tight? You can’t even puff on them they just end up burning and you have to suck so hard you’re basically getting high from the amount of oxygen you’re sucking in
