3. I love this place. There all bud 1 gram joints for $5 with tax on Friday’s and $7 regularly are the best deal in town. There pricing is lower than anyone else’s and you can see they care about the customer not just making a profit. It’s also really cool they grow everything themselves. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

28. I love this place! Stephanie, Amber and Scott are AWESOME! The whole crew are always super helpful, very knowledgeable, and always friendly. Shango has a great selection and if they’re out of stock on a certain strain, they’ll call you to let you know that they have it back in stock! Love the fact that Shango takes debit cards too, no worrying about stopping by the bank before hand.

49. On my first visit to Plantae I was excited to experience what they had to offer because of hearing good things about their other locations. The Bend location is private, and the site itself is huge. The waiting/ check in area was inviting and the back room was huge (it used to be a yoga studio and Plantae continues to offer yoga.) I was assisted by a very helpful tender and purchased some NW Kind bho. The price was fantastic. I will definitely be back.

I had two issues though: 1) I don not like pre-weighed grams, you owe the customer the courtesy and honesty to weigh at the sale 2) While its nice to offer me running my debit card on a data capture machine, hust get an ATM?! its wonky.

79. I have went to both Portland locations, and neither experience has been good. I went into the second location in a pinch as it was the closest dispensary to me and honestly wish I had just drive the extra distance to go somewhere else.
    I was helped by two different nasty employees, the redhead talked my ear off while I tried to leave. She was full of “Well, actually..” ‘s and everything was an argument. I actually felt like I was talking to my bratty little sister, but more obnoxious and knew less about cannabis.
    The other female that helped me was actually the store manager, and boy I can see why the employee’s are so rude, after seeing her! She strutted around and played with her cell-phone the entire time, more concerned with her appearance than her customer’s wellbeing!

89. I really like that whoever sets the prices at Plantae doesn’t try to scalp their customers like all the other dispensaries in Bend seem to have no problem doing right now. Nice to have morally upright business owners. This is now the only place I go to pick up in Bend. The daily specials are great too. $5 FULL GRAM PREROLLS ON FRIDAY (yes, a full gram without the paper and crutch. I checked, because I got pretty fkn sick of some other dispensaries in the area handing me a “half-gram joint” with 0.2 grams of weed in it). Fat Tuesday you get 20% extra on the first eighth you buy (4.2 grams instead of 3.5). Dope spot. Staff is always friendly and mad helpful. Place is clean as a whistle and there are drinks in the lobby. Can’t beat it!

90. Yesterday evening I visited Plantae based on excellent reviews. The atmosphere was clean and modern, however, I was a little disappointed that they have a waiting room. The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful as I signed up for a loyalty card.

    Unfortunately, the budtender who assisted me was not the least bit friendly. She never made eye contact with me and had a very disinterested and annoyed demeanor the entire time. It was also the first time I felt hurried by a budtender and I’ve been to quite a few dispensaries. I asked her the difference between two strains and she just shrugged her shoulders and said “they’re both indicas”. Not very helpful indeed. At the end, she handed me the Oregon pregnancy/kids warning card, but said to throw it in the waste basket on the way out. It seemed odd to say that considering it may violate the whole purpose of issuing it in the first place.

    Anyways, the other budtender helping another customer seemed much more friendly and helpful, so I believe my experience may not be typical considering the high reviews. Their products were high quality and I enjoyed the bud and edibles. I will try coming back another time and hope for a better experience.

    Hands down the very best dispensary in Central Oregon! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about cannabis strains and products. I always feel more than welcomed, they always make me feel like family. The space is warm, welcoming and clean. Great product lineup, without too many junky things littering the space. Just the best to choose from, and the best help to find what I need, each and every time I shop. Sometimes I’ll pop-in just to see what great new flower stains they’ve brought in from their local farm, and end up shopping for a bit just to enjoy the atmosphere. You’ll have to check it out, since it’s a pretty well kept secret! But not for long. 😉

Also, last time I was here an older white lady was allowed to cut in front of me. The strain selection is usually good, although last time I stopped they were out of pretty much everything. 108. Front desk girl was super friendly and my budtender was also nice! As far as quality goes… the flower was all super dry and the “party buds” is seriously just really trimmy loose little buds. Good place if you are just trying to get super cheap bud. The environment is very nice but they definitely need to work on their quality of growing.

191. In concept, it is cool that they keep buds in glass cylinders on display. Except you cannot smell them. They teased me by leaving primo buds inside the cylinders with attached SOLD OUT signs. The person beside me gravitated to the same bud I liked, only to have the budtender tell her it was sold out. Is this a social experiment to see if stoners can read signs? And what happens to the SOLD OUT buds that still reside in these small chambers? Also, the pricing seemed a bit steep. The budtenders were nice, and appeared knowledgable. They shared information about their personal lives to me, and their customer service seemed fine.

192. Out of all the places I’ve gone to so far in the area, Shango has impressed me the most. I have a really high tolerance and so far Shango’s stuff is what does the trick. They are making it difficult for me to branch out and see other shops because I just want to go back for more. The employees are always very personable and friendly and they make you feel welcomed and free to browse the atmosphere. Definitely will not disappoint!

Not to mention, very few strains smelled the way they should have– all of it smelled like feces from spidermites, predator mites, and ladybugs (i used to own reptiles and i remember the smell of cricket feces– which is what im comparing it too…bug feces mixed with something herbal…thats how id describe it). Moreover, the herb is stored in plastic jugs (why?) and appears roughly handled during trim– i looked through the mag glass and tried to find resin heads that hadn’t been ruptured it was almost impossible. Im not sure if its the roughly handled trimwork or the plastic jugs they store their herb in, but something is seriously messing up the terpene profiles from strains i am very familiar with…i cant think of a reason to come back…this is sad because they have great genetics and nice employees….price is way too high for greenhouse compared to indoor because most indoor does not have such issues and you get way more growing greenhouse vs indoor and plantae is farm to table– so is it ignorance and arrogance or just plain greed that you ask so much for your fecal matter laced weed?

Also unique to this dispensary is the fact that they allow you to smell each strain. Having traveled all around the country I have been to many recreational shops and this is definitely one of the best. Although by law they are unable to sell concentrates to someone without a medical card, the marijuana was good enough so that it would not matter. The two girls working at the time were very helpful. Being around 2 hotels makes this location ideal for anyone lading in the area.

     This is why you need to go to Shango stores. I have been to many stores in Washington and in Oregon . This is when I found “the One”, the one store stands above like no other, not only for the high quality of their product but their efforts to always maintain it, along with the best prices, and even and customer loyalty program. Everyone is very helpful knowledgeable and willing to work with anyone that needs it, they are friendly and there is always a family atmosphere. in my personal experience from visiting the store over 45 times and today being the latest.

     I have also red the few negative comments. And every one is entitled to their own opinion. but there are those people that usually complain about anything, people that are angry at the world regardless. so I say to them. come back to Shango and give the team a chance to show you exactly what I’m talking about. you will not regret it. We were from NY and NJ and the gentleman behind the counter was from the same area. Great initial feeling and the cannabis is primo. Try Sticky B itll put you on your ass

719. Very bright, open, modern space with an excellent selection of farm-to-table cannabis. This is important not just because they have control over the product from start to finish, but also because it allows them to offer the highest quality product at prices that seem to be more competitive than their competitors.

     The last Budtender to help me was Tom, and he was very knowledgeable. I had mentioned to him some flower on their menu that sounded interesting, but after asking me a few questions he suggested an alternative which turned out to be fantastic, as was the other flower he recommended.

     I have been to a number of different dispensaries in Bend, and what I dislike most is the lack of knowledge about the products they offer and which ones to recommend based on a person’s wants or needs. This is certainly not the case at Plantae. I suspect its because they farm the cannabis so they must know a lot about what they’re growing, and thus know which products to recommend to their patients/customers.

     Based on their flower, knowledge, layout, location and pricing, this is easily one of my favorites, if not very favorite dispensary in Bend!

721. First time going to any Portland shop since I live in Washington. I was really comfortable walking into the store. I have heard good and bad things about shops in Portland so I was a bit hesitant but I was pleasantly surprised by Shango. They carry about 10-15 different strains and have their own greenhouse which I thought was really cool. I was helped by Megan and Amber, they were really nice girls, fun to talk to. I bought the Cinex, sticky b, and pdx. The cinex was some of the best I’ve had and I also enjoyed the other 2 strains I tried. Definitely competitive prices and really close to 205, I will be going back for sure!
