5. I use to come here a lot but recent few stops in, the bud has been super grassy and hay flavor. Have tried multiple strains from them too and they are just way to pricey for some oregano.

11. Love this place. The people are very friendly and beyond knowledgeable. They are all about the medicine not just another drug dealer type shop. The prices are great. Tried pretty much whole menu of dry herb and all were acceptable. There stand out strains for me (sativa lover) are: killingsfield, Kali mist, and shipwreck (for daytime fictional high). The only thing they are lacking is high cbd strains. I like what they stand for and I love their herb so I will continue to be a customer.

    Now, I know that there are some reviews complaining about their security carrying a weapon. My response is, have you watched any sort of news program over the last year? The weapon is present for their and patients protection, get over it.

23. Having read other reviews, the negatives ones for this dispensary are really laughable. When you walk into this dispensary you feel like you’re in an upscale doctor’s office. The only thing your doctor wouldn’t have are video games. The medicine is only top shelf and there is no other dispensary in this area with more knowledgeable staff. From everything I can see, Alpha only sells the best.
    Kimbo Kush. You get what you pay for and this is the best and most potent medicine I’ve ever used.

36. I just had my first visit this week and I know 2 things. First, I’m definitely coming back! I liked the selection, I felt welcome, I think the quality is very high and the prices are reasonable. And that leads me to point number two. There are a lot of fake reviews on leafly! There’s no way someone can walk into Alpha and say the place looks bad or that their product is expensive. The dispensary looks upscale and most of the bud is under $10. Those reviewers have either never been in or they’re writing fake reviews. The people who run it are knowledgable and friendly.

39. UPDATE: I tried to give Alpha another chance, and ended up disappointed yet again. I will not be back. Everyone says how nice these people are, they don’t seem any more welcoming than any other dispensary in Salem. In fact, I feel like I really have to engage them to get them to tell me about the products, my questions are usually met with blank annoyed stares, and get comments that are less than helpful like “everything we have is good…”. The budtenders often being very stoned doesn’t help their customer service. My biggest complaint here is the quality of the product. I’m not sure if the buds are being picked too early, or not being cured correctly, but I get a very minimal buzz out of most of the products here, especially for being 20%+ on THC. What would last me over a week from other dispensaries lasts me about 3 days when I purchase from Alpha. The buds are almost always VERY moist, to the point I have to sit them out and let them dry to smoke them (I’ve tried at least 6 different strains here, all but one were like this). This place might be ok for novice cannabis users with no tolerance, but there are MUCH better dispensaries for seasoned smokers.

65. Very happy to finally see a quality medically minded dispensary in Keizer. The owners and staff truly care about helping people with their medical issues and always get to know the patient before recommending any treatments. They are very knowledgeable about the chemical makeup of their products and have detailed lab testing done . The best part of this patient minded mentality is the very reasonable prices. I hope they continue to grow and provide some healthy competition to the Salem area.
    P.S. Please sign the petition they have to be able to sell consumables in Keizer as this is an unfair and uneducated policy that fails to account for patients with sensitive lungs or patients that prefer the extra body relief edibles provide.

66. Alpha has been my one stop shop for all things medical for over a year now. The employees there are fantastic, Wally, Mr House, Corey every employee is ready to help you out and answer any questions you may have. They have Happy Hour Specials, a few different kinds of pre-rolls ready to go(priced fairly) and so many concentrates to choose from. Alpha has remolded their waiting area too, tons of room now with glass cases full of pipes, rigs you name it. I know my business is appreciated when I shop at Alpha, its a nice change.

    Excellent service (deserves more than 5 stars) and the knowledgeable staff helped me understand more about the medicine in general. Really pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Very professional. Pretty good variety of products with the lowest prices I’ve seen in this area. I tried the Jagermeister. It was a little dry but perfectly cured. Definitely top shelf. It had a very interesting scent aEUR” kind of like a mild sweet citrus with another scent I couldn’t place. The effects were just amazing. Killed my pain and anxiety.

    I’ll definitely be back and I’m bringing my friends.

83. it’s like walking into your high school dealers house, outdoor I mean it’s low budget at best their $12 a gram bud is their only bud worth it’s weight, they have good oil and they know alot of information if you ask but it would probably have to be the worst shop I have stopped in. I know they will be offended and probably delete my review but that would just validate my point. they have a lot of fixing to do to this shop. I hope they do so.

94. WHY DO YOU NEED A GUN. I have been in here a few times and their selection rarely changes. Usually low to mid grade green house flower. Prices are ok for what you will get, between 6 and 9 or 10 dollars a gram. I also felt very uncomfortable when I noticed an employee brandishing a fire arm on their hip, this is a dispensary not a prison. Will it be ok if I come in the shop with my fire arm on my hip? Probably not. I wouldnt do that any way this is an environment that is supposed to be worry free like a Dr. office.

    To get my business back I would like some of these issues to be resolved and I would give them another shot.
