My first time going to Glisan Buds and I was happy to see a familiar face, ILE – the bud tender from Foster Buds! 🙂 I maintain, that Foster Buds – and now Glisan Buds – have to be the friendliest, most on-point dispensaries in the Portland metro area. I’ve been to 40+ dispensaries, and not only is the service always above and beyond friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, but the quality of the flowers there makes me want to come back for more. ILE always listens and steers me in the direction of what medicine will help me the most at that time, depending on my needs.
I always feel like a V.I.P. when I come in, and this happens visit after visit after visit. The Glisan Buds location has a more sterile feel to it – not quite as “homey” as Foster location, but it was super clean, organized, and it was easy to see all their product lines. ILE was prompt and attentive, and the Star Master Kush was a great recommendation. Will keep going back and back to both locations. 🙂

This is an excellent location with top-shelf medicine at low prices. Ile is an outstanding budtender setting a new standard for quality OMMP service in an area about to be overwhelmed by recreational consumers. This shop is a great addition to the neighborhood, obviously dedicated to providing patients with information and products that specifically address the entire range of applicable medical conditions, and they’ll make you feel very welcome while helping you find relief. Expect a great attitude and incredible indicas.
My absolute FAVORITE dispensary! We drive 45min just to go to Glisan. The staff is phenomenal, they always have a great selection to choose from. just an all around great experience every time we go in.

I’m very happy with purchase of high CBD flower Critical Mass (indica dominant hybrid) at $15 gram + tax) – 15% THC and 16% CBD. This 1:1 CBD / THC ratio was very hard to find. Price was a little high – next time I will shop there on Sunday (CBD products 15% off).
I want to like this place so badly, but they are SO expensive. How is this possible? Budtenders are nice, place is clean, but I can’t get over how their products are all geared towards people who have a ton of money to spend on weed.
Perfect for the NE Location and they are what makes this work, meaning the best people. Never had any problems with these folks and recommend Glisan Buds and always have a daily deal and free joint Friday
Just moved to the Portland area recently and couldnt ask for a better dispensary to have nearby. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and will always find you what you need. You never have to wait (major plus) and an excellent coffee shop is right nearby what more do you need?

My new fave. Really relaxed, friendly vibe (which you’d think would be the default for cannabis dispensaries, but isn’t). They said they’re renovating, but please keep the colorful chalk menus! Love it. Very homey, the budtenders are kind, helpful, and not remotely hipster-ish, and the product is fantastic. Shout out to their high CBD Harle-Tsu, which provides pain relief on par with oxy. I love their house blend pre-rolls, too. Also a shout out to the red headed dude and the lady who reminds me of Kate McKinnon. Their ATM is free, btw. I will be a new regular here!

I came in here for the first time last month and I must say that I felt welcome there immediately. You can get many high end strains for reasonable prices, free atm and drinks and on top of that, they offer 1g joints for only one dollar if you go inside on your birthday. Probably some of the best deals I’ve received from any dispensary as well!

I have been shopping here for a couple months and liked the fee free ATM. They seemed to have lots of sale prices and daily deals and the smoke was OK. Unfortunately I picked up some blue city diesel on $20 Tuesday without really checking it out and that was a huge mistake. Flower was garbage, tasted real musty and began to smell that way too. I took the BCD back to the shop and they had no interest in helping me out. Very disappointing after being a customer for months.
Not a first time visit by far. I’ve been coming here since maybe just after a week after their grand opening. Al the bus is top shelf, no matter what the price is. It’s all fire! They carry a lot of bud from Seven Point and Farmer 12, all fire! The main reason I’m writing this update is cause I got one of their 500mg RSO capsules. Now, I’m no light weight. I have severe chronic pain, and an unknown Auto-Immune Disorder that has left me with the bone and joint degradation of an 84 year old at 35. I used to enjoy cannabis both medically and recreationally, until an accident almost 6 years ago where I herniated 7 discs in my back and did other damage, not treatable by surgery; I became unable to get high. I can still medicate, but getting high was no longer a reality. I dab all day long, and smoke and cape flower all in between, just for maintenance medicating. I have tried relentlessly to get high. On 420 I gave it my biggest push, and despite the grams of shatter, dozen plus blunts/preroll cones, and over 6 grams of cannabis total between a few dozen edibles, and I still got nothing. This one cap of RSO, I wasn’t sure what to expect, other than just pain relief. After about an hour, I still hadn’t felt anything and thought – oh well, at least I’ll get the medical benefits. About 15 minutes later I noticed my back wasn’t hurting. A great development. 15 minutes after that I had no pain in my body. Minutes after that the lower half of my body was vibrating intensely. It felt so amazing. I will definitely be getting these again, and if you have a high tolerance that unaffected by most meds, I highly recommend these capsules, and for the price you can’t go wrong. Thanks Iley, for turning me on to them!

Really nice selection of medibles here! I really enjoyed how the case was so I could really contemplate my options. Also looked like a fun mix of prerolls for people who like them. I will shop here again for sure.

My first visit was 9/28. I have waited to see what kind of results I would get before posting. Kodey was extremely helpful. I really can’t handle smoking weed and edibles have had less than stellar results. I get a lot of blurry vision and urine retention from other ingested forms – on top of the pre-existing baseline. So I went with Earth Pharm for the back and nerve pain from waist to toes. Some of this is chronic neuropathy and now an acute component from big bone spur pushing on righr L5 nerve root. Surgery in 2.5 weeks will hopefully take this pain away and get me back to baseline. The Earth Pharm has helped quite a bit. If I applied as liberally as I needed/wanted to I could go through the tin in a couple of days. So I have been judicious and used an essential oil combination with similar ingredients as are in the EP. on top of it. The biggest surprise was the free fudge. Very potent stuff. Still trying to sort out how much will help and not leave me hungover or feeling unsafe to drive the next day. Alone it doesn’t do the job of pain relief but gives me some good sleep, quickly and for 4-5 hours. But then I wake with increased pain. All a big juggling act. Will be going back today for more EP. Kodey also showed me other options for topical use. Overall I am very happy with this dispensary. Would highly recommend if you live in the hood.
Went in for my first time because it was close to my house and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was wonderfully surprised by how awesome it was. my budtender Ile was extremely helpful and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in the door. this is my new favorite dispensary.
I love this place. I go here on a weekly basis, and I’m happy to tell all my friends that the shop closest to my house (4 blocks!) is a completely great place to buy. Ile helped me buy my first legal weed in Portland back in October and continuously encourages me to try new varieties and often I leave with a greater knowledge of what I’m buy and consuming. Glisan Buds is my new favorite spot in NE Portland. These guys have an awesome selection of products but they’re customer service is what really got me hooked. Fun to talk to and very well educated, I learned a lot in just the 15 minutes I stopped by! Fair prices and top shelf products across the board. I highly recommend paying this place a visit!

I am updating my review…this place used to be awesome and some of the people who have been around awhile are still cool but all the new people working there suck. It’s like they know nothing about what they are selling. It’s a regular thing now to get “I don’t know” when I ask about a product. As a medical patient I will be looking elsewhere for a good shop with knowledgeable staff who care about what they are selling.

Not happy, I tried to call to ask questions about produces since I don’t know much, but they would not answer questions on the phone and told me to come in instead which it is not easy for me to go places. If they don’t have what I’m looking for then it would be a waste of time, but how do I know when they won’t answer questions on the phone.
I work across the street and found this place by convenience. Now this is my go to shop. The prices are great and the team is even better! Shop here about 3 times a well and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
My budtender was very helpful. I like that they broke down each strain in laments terms on a chalkboard This one will help with insomnia, appetite, and depression etc. The smell and look of a nice flower is aesthetically enticing, but I want to know what it’s good for. I wish I had four hands. I’d give this place four thumbs up!

I’ve been going here for awhile. I have many problems and Ile has been so kind to guide me, and teach me what strains of medicine will help with each issue I have. If he ever gives you a suggestion, please take it because he hasn’t let me down. He knows what he’s talking about. The rest of the staff is just as awesome.
Love Glisan Buds. I come in for the sweet deal on extracts and the occasional flower. The people there are uber friendly and knowledgable in their products. I found the people there helpful and informative. I’ve been to a few dispensaries and this one is my favorite by far. The environment is laid back and easy going.

I LOVE this shop! They always have daily deals & they just got a awesome new reward system that you get text messages of flash sales they do! Saturday evening I got a text staying they were having a super bowl sale & they had some Godberry flower on special for $25 a eighth it was so worth it. The system also has you accumulate points to get deals on some of your favorite things. I’m so glad they are in my area & dont know what I’d do without this shop 🙂

We wanted to find edibles at 945pm and stumbled upon Glisan Buds and instantly I fell in love and now it’s become my home dispensary. I love the contests and deals even with the new restrictions. The staff is honest, friendly and fun. I’m always happy after going in.
Okay so I normally come here and I love this location but last night was upsetting for myself. I walk in to the lobby and am waiting to be let back ( I’d check ) as I’m watching one of the staff member collect garbage instead of help the customer. I’ve worked jobs with customer service so it’s upsetting to see that this lady didn’t seem to care about the customer… on top of that I wasn’t the only one waiting. And when I was finely let back, I then had to wait for one of the two bud tenders… not the one collecting garbage or maybe the manager in back? Customers come first. Figure it out.
Conveniently located next to pizza and excellent drinks, nice tenders, nice products. Great neighborhood discount too!

So far so good. VERY patient and professional staff. They never seem to tire of my annoying questions 😉 Seems like a good organization and the location is super convenient for me. Only complaint – I can get most of the same strains cheaper per gram at other nearby locations. I’ll still go there though, unless I’m buying large quantities.
This was my first time visiting this location. I appreciated the Halloween decorations and made the environment feel welcoming with the holiday celebration. Service was good. Good selection on Vape cartridges. Prices are the Norm and comparable to every other place in Portland so works for myself.
Staff was friendly. Quality of buds were poor, leafy. I got an eighth of one type which was on the higher end in the shop, and it wasn’t that great, poorly trimmed. Both looked light and weighed them at home to find they were both slightly under, which is unforgiveable!
The Budtenders are friendly, personable, and helpful! This place is definitely my fave!!!

I’m a loyal repeat customer who has yet to be disappointed. I visit about once a week and every visit has been an absolute pleasure. Weather Kody, Ile, Zach or the very sweet new tender that helped me this evening ( I’m truely sorry her name escapes me). All of the Glisan buds staff are top notch. The bud tender tonight pipped the ace, she asked all the right questions and made spot on recommendation. Way to go, Kudos. And of course I received my usual happy Ras greeting from good ole Ile. No matter what I always receive awesome positive vibes when I come in and feel rejuvenated and in such a better mood on my way home.
Leafly has you rate the location on three criteria: Quality, Service and Atmosphere.
Quality: Their flower is visually outstanding. The buds are well trimmed and the tricomes are easily visible before you shine a light on them. As for effects, I’ve yet to be disappointed.
Service: I wish all the budtenders I meet where as passionate about what they do as the people I’ve met here. When you ask them about a strain you get useful information about the strain, not just “oh, that will really f-you up” or “I dunno”. I had a nice conversation with Kodey tonight and I hope to run into her again (though she may not, as I don’t interact with people that much and tend to talk way too much :))
Atmosphere: This is a harder one to judge as each time I’ve been there, the store is a little different. It’s a fairly new store and they seem to be still in the process. Given that, I’ve liked the place each time 🙂 I can’t say much about the lobby as I don’t think I’ve spent more than 30 seconds in it, total, but the store is clean, laid out nicely (like items are grouped, not spread out all over the store) and it’s not visually distracting. They also have a sense of humor, just read their sidewalk sign 🙂
Something Leafly needs to add is Price. The prices here are in-line with what I’d expect to pay and the only time I’ve been surprised at a price, it was a pleasant surprise.
While I’ve only mentioned flower, they also have oil, topicals, edibles, etc. They also have some glass, grinders, papers and all the other stuff you might need. One of the few places you could go owning nothing, and leave with everything you need for a session.

Shame on me for not doing research beforehand. Went in for a particular concentrate, it was sold out to my surprise. The budtender was very happy to show me some alternatives. There is nothing posted about any concentrates up on the wall, only flower. I’m unable to look up strains inside, as nobody gets cell service so it’s up to the budtender to provide correct information. I was caught off guard and couldn’t decide on a strain. I told her what I was looking for in a strain, to help her give me a suggestion or recommendation. As a medical patient, this is not a strain I would have ever chosen, I made a special trip into Glisan Buds, as I have spent a lot of money at this establishment, I have purchased great flower and sometimes recommendations from other budtenders are way more helpful than others, but it’s far from consistent and not right to medical patients.
There is nothing not to like about this dispensary. The customer service was beyond amazing and they worked with me until I found the right oil for my condition. Courteous, prompt, excellent service!

I moved to the PNW last month and have been trying to find my aEURoehome dispensaryaEUR and in always find myself coming back here. I can take my time, all budtenders are super knowledgeable, and friendly!
I went to the coast with my Sweety this past weekend. Among other smoke supplies, we took one of Glisan Buds’ Love Dawg pre-roll joints with us. OHMIGAWDESS. The wife is insisting that I get another. That joint lasted two days, had beautiful berry notes the entire time, and the effect was definitely as advertised. Yeah, not sleepy, but you may need to lie down for a while.
I’ve only been here a few times with my mom but she loves this place. The few times I’ve gone in had been swell. Plan to come by again when I’m in the area.

Fabulous place! Kodey, Anthony, and Tami were a most friendly trio. All three provided me with the perfect customer service. They had a nice mix of familiar strains and newer hybrids. If I could only use one word to describe Glisen Buds, I would say, “Groovitude!” This is a groovy attitude. Try their Green Crack if you have a budget, or Blue Dragon Haze, if you want to treat yourself.
Best customer service by far! Plenty of options with great bud and pre rolled js which are my favorites! If you’re in a hurry this is a great spot to run in and run out.

The highest prices in the area. Just audibly laughed when I saw their Wedding Cake and Superglue prices. They gouge rec more than just tax prices clearly! Friendly people and quality bud, don’t get me wrong, but the owner/inventory management must not shop around.

Because I was so impressed with Foster Buds I decided to check out their sister store, Glisan Buds. The budtender was polite and I got what I had come for (Mango). They have some fun daily specials that you can check out on their Facebook page – nice!

They did not have medical edibles in stock. They also charged me tax, although I am medical. The manager refunded the tax, it was a timely process. I found the medical Gron chocolate bar at another clinic at similar price.
Seemed knowledgeable, priced well, and is close. So I’ll be back!

So I have mixed feelings about this place. the buds are OK. the nice stuff is priced a little high. but the service at this place is very nice. the shop is tiny but very well kept. very professional. definitely a spot to keep an eye on.

I’ve been once a few weeks ago. These are the same company that owns Foster Buds. so, I wasn’t surprised when I saw that their prices are too high. I wouldn’t mind paying more if the product/flower was somehow different or better than the 3 other places I can walk to in 5 minutes. I mean the “artisinal pre-rolls “??? Seriously? Anyway, the bud I got was dry but good quality. It’s just the prices, lack of selection. The staff were sweet and helpful, and they even keep a board up for what strains they have that help specific things. But the Rec prices are out of range and they don’t list much about the strain you’re buying, like CBD% OR THC% Whats THAT about?
they’re the 2nd closest shop to me…and in a punch they’ll do.
