25. This is by far my favorite dispensary in Portland! I love the Mississippi district and the shop fits perfectly with the vibe of the whole street. From things like showing up after they tweet about something for them to say “oh at every location but this one” despite it not saying so anywhere else. Quality is mediocre for the price given that so much of the bud is from 2015. I have such a better experience literally everywhere else.

50. They accommodate on all levels. From table weed to have out for when there’s a large crowd, to the finer connoisseur level where one hit does it. Also a wide range of concentrates, some great and some that are lower level but still are decent at a great good price. Awesome staff.

54. I had a bad experience at this Nectar. First of all I am a regular customer, I come every Friday. This week when I went I asked for my oil, and live resin. Evidently the live resin that I selected was in the vault. The team lead was at lunch and I was told that he is the only one allowed in the vault but was at lunch (5:00 PM). I had to wait an hour. I came back, I asked if I had to stand in line again and I was rudely told I had to wait in line again because it’s not their fault they were out of product. However, the product was not out only LOCKED in the vault. No apology even though I was visibly frustrated. I’ve never ever had a bad experience at a Nectar before! Especially this location. Sadly, I’m not an important customer as they have plenty… I guess I’ll ave to find a new favorite dispensary. Cause I sure won’t be treated like that to what but the product that works for me. No back up for the vault? Hmmm

74. Being new to the neighborhood, this was the first place we went to and have not went anywhere else. Annie and Nie Nie were the first employees we had help us. They were so great , happy, friendly, knowledgeable and have kept us coming back. Every employee there has always given us great customer service and even when they are busy it doesn’t seem to take too long.
    They always have great deals and 3$ joints that are surprisingly really good!
    Basically they got it figured out 🙂

Remedies balms (hot and cool). checked out some flower while I was there and the White Super Skunk and XJ-13 were to appealing to pass up. both delivered on the promise of their smell/looks with fantastic smoke and high. I received 2 free AVO joints with my purchase. I never really smoke prerolls unless they specify that they’re bud only, so I took these and rolled the herb out into my trim jar… it looked to be about 75% trim, maybe more, with several large stems. just wanted to let people know who might be thinking about paying for them. 150. It’s a small space in a beautiful well kept-up Portland bungalow. A little disappointing that to get to the good selection of flower, you have to go to the recreational side. Makes for an awkward sales experience. On the other hand, the sales staff are wonderful people and it’s great to have them in the neighborhood! Also, visited here on Black Friday with a recreational user and they had amazing specials (although the specials sold-out quickly).

162. What I love and appreciate the most about this shop are all the great women employed at this location and those that I have encountered. These women are rock stars! I am always impressed and thankful for their patience and knowledge they have shown me, especially being the dispensary novice I am. I’m one of those super annoying customers that came into the store clueless, with a lot of questions, and only there because my regular aEUR~guy’ (who knows what I like), is to far away after I moved across town.

     Women can sometimes be nasty to each other and see each other as threats that need to be taken down a notch. Not these gals, they support/ build each other up, and In a workplace that I am going to naively assume is male dominated, that is so important to witness particularly in today’s world. They are really friendly, respectful, time efficient, and very helpful without being condescending towards me, my lack of knowledge about products and issues.

     No matter the gender of their employees, one of many things is always consistent when I visit, I am always sure to walk into the place greeted by smiling faces!
     Their caring expertise and non-judgmental values are recognized. I leave the shop feeling reassured about giving them my repeat business.

Some of the tenders are great but it really depends on who you get. Have had positive experiences with Bruce and Christian(?). Some of the female employees seemed disinterested or bored while helping me so maybe work on that customer service! If you buy their top shelf bud it’s pretty good but their low end stuff is harsh and old. Get it together and get a ramp.

519. Absolutely the worst experience I have had at a dispensary. To begin with, I have a lot of leniency for getting high on the job, but this location is ridiculous. I was there on 12/18/16 to get some cheap joints that I thought would be worth it. I was wrong. The young lady who was working one of the registers took literally, and not because I was high as well, but because I timed it, 18 minutes to cash out one customer. In addition to this, the line was exceedingly long and when the lady behind us started to get upset about the long wait and pushed in front of us, the other employee ringing register said to me “wait, were you first?” and despite telling him yes, he proceeded to ring up the other customer anyway. The first employee I mentioned, who was so high she could barely function, spent her entire 18 minute transaction loudly telling her customer how Oregon smokers get “shafted” and how much better it is in California and for California smokers and then tried to laugh it off by saying “SOWWY!”. The guy who rang us up did his best to apologize, but after ignoring us in favor of the angry lady, and listening to how we don’t have it so great as Oregonians, I was just sick of it. The joints I got were definitely inexpensive. They canoe like crazy, but I suppose that’s what you expect when you buy joints on sale for $2.50. I’d gladly spend four times as much on a single joint and get fantastic service from nice people. Never going back to this Nectar, or any other one.

But today I was talked out of the highly-reviewed strain that I had just tried and liked (Gorilla Glue #4) into some unknown called Pieface.. a lower tier on a deal day, which tested good in THC on 10/22/15, or almost a year ago! If that reflects harvest time, the GG I was seeking was dated 5/10/2016. The Pieface is dry, relatively odorless and a definite mediocre. My questions to Nectar… uninformed tender?, trying to clear the old stock? , why not give people the fresh quality cannabis that they want? I’ll shop again, to get an answer.

The fellow at the counter was very helpful in recommending a few specific strains based on what I was after, and pointing out that one of them was on special as a pre-rolled. As a first time customer the store was kind of confusingly laid out, but after someone pointed out a few key features, I’ll have no problem navigating the displays on my own next time. It’s a smaller store so I imagine it starts to feel crowded around 5-7 people, but I was there on a Sunday evening and enjoyed the overall ambiance with only a few other shoppers around me. I look forward to visiting again in the near future and spending more time with their well organized, easy to read menu!

That sucks,A take the sign down/change it,A I feel duped.A The tender then gave me their printed menu. I picked 3 strains of shatter and they had NONE OF THEM in stock. I finally got the clue to STOP reading off their menu!A He then left a pile of shatters on the counter for me to choose from.A It’s hard to choose with no organization, clearly printed labels and nothing comparable was offered to what I originally selected. This experience was something that was suppose to be so easy and effortless but quickly became stressful and not even worth the free first time preroll!

The strain I bought was LSD and it was exactly what I remembered it to be. Really sweet and sour funk smell and the smoke isn’t harsh, but gives you a really good strong high for about an hour, and then stays around for maybe 2 more hours. This place is for sure the best around in my opinion!
