Then smugly come out and say get out this place is awful the bud tenders are rude and uneducated, and I’ve called to verify a strain was in stock just to be lied to once I get there oh we’ve been out of that for days but we have this stain that’s similar so they lie to boot. Would NOT recommend to anyone they are not for there customers but for profit!

86. When I was in almost all of the products on display were discontinued and unavailable. When I did make a purchase, a co2 concentrate cartridge it was defective. They only stand behind their products for seventy-two hours which I believe to be extremely limited, unfair, and arbitrary.

     Friendly and helpful employees right from the door, all the way to check out.

     The inside of this facility is modeled after a museum or something, because that was the feeling I had when I entered their building. I was thoroughly impressed.

113. This dispensary was really very nice! They had great graphics on the windows, easy parking and a super welcoming staff. The shop is well lit, laid out beautifully, and uses the space to showcase current and “coming soon” products.
     The woman that helped us was really very patient, showed us a million different glass pieces, and the talked buds with myself and my partner.
     This shop is about 20 miles away, and I would definitely make the trip, especially for specific strains/products.

147. I have been to this location a few times and they have some decent flower, but their prices on almost everything else are outrageous. Also with the new recreational edible limits, I feel that they are being a bit unrealistic. I purchased an edible for almost with the promise that 44 mg with be more than enough for someone with a high tolerance. I stressed the fact that I have a high tolerance, was basically smirked at, and was told FOUR pieces should get me where I want to be (had the GG #4 Peak Chocolate bar). Long story short, I ate the whole thing, and had a minimal experience at best. I understand everyone is different when it comes to edibles, but I feel this dispensary and others need to be more realistic about the dosage when advising customers. Not everyone is a novice!

155. This location has a great atmosphere with many employees on site. For a lot of first timers, the number of employees with the will to help, allows you to take your time, understand, and explore your options. Budtenders provided great help and served some good weed.

156. As you walk in to the lobby of this dispensary you’ll find cheap glass that’s incredibly overpriced. Once you’re signed into the system, which took the “bud tender” entirely too long to do, you walk into a cute little spot. The display for BHO was pathetic, the pieces out in the display were tiny and not a fair representation of the product. The flower selection looked nice, but the cure on everything was off & left me disappointed. Their pricing scheme is confusing and they need a board to display them. I have high standards and this place definitely fell short. Also, where is your RSO? And why did you have such a small selection of edibles? This dispensary needs help from someone with experience in sales and the industry. All in all, I would say this dispensary could be the best in Salem with a little help and staff with actual knowledge of cannabis.

Andrew, my bud -tender snapped his fingers, gave a slight wink, and rushed off out of sight, soon to return with the very last pre-roll of Ghost Train Haze!

My only real complaint is the fact that the eighth I purchased was prepackaged. I didn’t think to ask when that had been done, and I ended up getting product that was a little dry. I still think it’s good, but a little harsh for my taste. I would go back again, but I would ask more questions so I get the best product for my money.

     Was told it was the best place around with better prices. I beg to differ. Prices are all over the board. I can get good quality flower for way less at a couple of other places across town. Not to mention the inconvenience of having to use an ATM to withdraw cash (which is conveniently located in the lobby). When my wife told the budtender that she could get better weed for $20 an 8th elsewhere they laughed at her and told her there’s no way that’s not possible. That’s no way to treat a lady.
     Was also almost pressured into writing a review. And as a reward for doing so they would offer a $0.02 free joint the next time we visited. Talk about an insult… they can keep their $0.02 joint and I hope somebody reads this review and does something about the lack of quality and knowledge of what is available elsewhere.

421. Have been here twice. I never buy cartridges, because the first one I ever bought failed about halfway through. On my first visit here, the bud tender suggested a cartridge and assured us that if it failed, we could bring it back and they would replace it, so no risk. Fast forward to yesterday, when the contact in the cartridge came out lodged into the battery, with about a quarter of the concentrate still inside. Thank goodness we were told we could bring it back, since I am a disabled medical patient on a very tight budget, and can’t afford to just go get another. Oh, wait. Not once we got back to the dispensary. I was unable to walk to go in today, so my caregiver went inside to deal with it. They couldn’t find the purchase tied to my account, and claimed that they don’t carry cartridges from that company, only shatter. Not only would they not make good on the defective cartridge (I only expected them to honor the value of 1/4 of the original purchase, but that would have been enough to get me through until I get paid again). Instead, my caregiver ended up having to spend the last of my grocery money for the month on replacing it with the same strain, same company, shatter rather than oil. No discount. No consideration at all. Before you comment that groceries are more important than medicine, let me point out that in addition to crippling pain, nausea is a major issue for me, so without cannabis I just throw up what I eat anyway. So yeah, thanks for leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth, which will be about all going in until June. I will not only NOT be back, but I will be sharing my story as much as I can. If I can’t trust your word, I won’t trust anything else you try to sell me.

422. I’ve been going to TLC Cannabis Emporium since they opened for medical sales. Since legalization the store has grown significantly. There is now a large selection of quality flower, concentrates, edibles, glassware, etc…

     I enjoy visiting the store a few times a week, there’s always something new on the menu. The staff is helpful and there’s enough bud tenders to keep the lines down. Medical patients receive priority in line which is a nice benefit at a Med/Rec location.

     This is one of the most professional dispensaries I’ve been to in the past 5 years.

First time visit and the first thing I noticed was the allowance of minors displayed largely on the outside of the door; having two children that I have to take with me on errands this is a nice thing and the waiting area resembles a pharmacy as well as their take home bags which is also appealing to me.

     The service was wonderful! I’m new to medibles so I am still experimenting with products and doses, so, to be given recommendations from personal experience is always nice. Also, I like that I didn’t feel awkward or silly because I didn’t know what exactly I needed just what I wanted it to DO.

     I ended up leaving with an orange “Cheeba Chews” the sativa & I’m pleased with the product. 1 70mg chew that I cut into 4 doses (as recommended) and then I placed the other doses into the travel container I was given as a courtesy (also pleasing).

497. I have been to this dispensary more than a few times. I enjoy the quality of their top-shelf flowers, but the price here seems inflated. $15 per gram, and the 25% recreational tax hasn’t even been instated yet. I know of at least two dispensaries outside Salem that have much cheaper prices for the same quality. I understand the need to compete in a larger city, but come on. Some of the previous reviews mention how pre-sealed bags were a plus. I disagree. If I can’t see what you’re putting in my bag, I can’t protest of it doesn’t appear to be the same quality as what I picked out.
     Another complaint I have is about the wait time. Longest wait time of any dispensary I’ve been to. The receptionist (young male, scruffy facial hair, shaggy/messy hair) was unprofessional and did not pay attention. His system for managing the queue is flawed. I have been cut in line more than once because of his negligence while managing the waiting room. Overall, this dispensary has good flowers, but the wait time is long and the prices inflated.

514. I can’t say I’m impressed with the service at my favorite medical dispensary anymore since the start of rec sales.

     Special order clones: Asked what the general time frame is on these.. days, weeks, months? The tone of the answer was more “How the hell should *I* know” than “It’s impossible to say for sure.” Made me feel stupid for asking despite the fact that it’s a perfectly reasonable question. You’ll excuse me if I’m not okay with having zero idea what to expect.

     Packaging: My clones were put into a box, and the bottom of that box was secured using two tiny product labels instead of tape. Predictably, the box completely failed before I even took them out of the car. Saved the clones, but no thanks to the careless packaging job.

     Sativa/Indica: Nobody expects a budtender to memorize the details of every strain. It’s okay to look things up or say “I’m not sure.” It’s not okay to tell me a clone is an Indica when it’s actually a Sativa. If you work in a dispensary and give me an answer with confidence, I should be able to trust that answer.

     I find these things frustrating not only as a patient and a customer, but as someone with high standards who’d figuratively kill for one of these positions any day of the week.

It is clean and I love the fresh cedar smell of the building, as well as the great location next to Trader Joe’s. It is a great place to try new strains. As for criticisms, as many others have said the place just feels like a cold moneymaking operation. The Walmart of weed. The bud tenders are not necessarily unfriendly (although some are) but they are not knowledgeable and they just seemed demoralized and on autopilot. I have also received poor quality product here. Everything they sell is in prepackaged plastic envelopes and some of it is clearly out of date. For example, I picked up a gram of Black Domina, which was very expensive, and it was just a dry powder. I emailed the store but never got a response. I also received some purple train wreck that was not in the best condition. To be fair to the place, I purchased the best Harlequin that I have ever had here, but I always approach Green Cross with caution.

743. this is hands down my new favorite place they have a great selection of meds, top shelf chernobyl that smells of sweet citrus. And blue magoo just as comparable on the lower shelf. they don’t overwhelm you with 30,40+ strains they keep it tight with what they know is quality and the ladies working are actually nice to chat with during your visit. they have extracts made by the best! and they are usually matching the strains they carry which I truly enjoy. definitely will return(often!!)

746. I always have a good experience at tlc emporium in south Salem . They have the widest selection at any dispensary I’ve ever seen and it’s very upscale and clean. My budtender Chris was a big help and fun to talk with as he quickly made my transaction.

752. Price increase here is ridiculous. Long wait times at certain times of the day and a small waiting room with limited seating. The transition to recreational has made this place undesirable. They offer Veteran discounts but you have to be under the OMMP program to take advantage of it. I have been going here for some time now and will not be returning after seeing a price increase for certain strains. I can not recommend this place for RECREATIONAL and suggest spending the time and money somewhere else. As for MEDICAL it is a nice small place with a lot to offer… My advice to the shop if you are going to raise prices then have them listed online to avoid confusion. You have Facebook and Leafly has a update section so it should be posted.
