We live in Eugene but shop weekly in Springfield & decided to check out K-9. We were pleasantly surprised. Super nice & informed budtender, Fred helped us out. I was looking for medibles & my husband was looking for flower. Lowest prices on flower that we have found in the area. Nice variety of medibles & more medical products than I’ve seen elsewhere. Fred took time to explain how getting a green card would be a lot cheaper for me. I even purchased some hemp capsules for my pet. We’ll be back.

The springfield GO-TO spot for sure. Staff is all very helpful in person and even spoke to them a few times over the phone to get questions answered about what was available. Very glad to see that theSunday 5$ Specials that went on since i’ve been going in October are still around and they even opened up more 6$ prerolls all week long 🙂 Thanks guys stick around don’t know what we’d do w/o you.
A long while back this place got a low rating. I’m glad it’s coming back up, and now I see why. Not only do you get a first time medical patient discount, they will go out of their way to ask what type of product you use. I recommend this place; stop by and say hi or get a nice chill medical lemonade, patients!

This is my regular store that I frequent the most. They always have what I need (which is usually vape oil / cartridges) and are always getting in new products. The budtenders are great and very helpful! Sylvanna has been great helping me my past few visits giving me a complete knowledge of all of the products and answering all of my questions.

Sylvanna was great. I am new to cannabis for my anxiety and when I came in to get a specific strain she recommended I try the CBD Therapy as it is much higher in CBD. Works great! I had a previous issue with THC effects from a different CBD strain and they swapped me out for a new one, and explained how the THC/CBD levels work. Great place.
Fred worked with me, and he was really helpful in trying to pinpoint what would work best for me. He has a great knowledge of cannabis, and super friendly. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would come back.

Shopping here was a great experience, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rating system includes atmosphere, although there’s not much atmosphere to speak of at K-9 Chronic. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad thing though, it’s just a simple little place. Also, the bud tender gave me his honest opinion about the strain I was looking for, which is much appreciated. I would definitely buy here again.

K9 has excellent customer service and really stands behind their products. I had an issue with something and they went above and beyond to right the wrong. This carries a lot of weight and speaks volumes for a business. I would highly recommend them for all your marijuana needs.

It was my first time in today and the owner was awesome and gave me a lot of information on their dispensary. Markie was my budtender and I will definitely be back soon since she was so helpful and made me feel at home my first time in.
I have visited the shop and was happy with the service and quality of product and today I took advantage of their delivery service, it was prompt, accurate and the person who dropped it off was very nice and let me know that they do free delivery on Thursdays which is pretty awesome. I will be using their services again in the future for sure.

I want to update my 1st review of this dispensary as my opinion has totally changed. Don’t want to be mean so, all I will say is I will never go in here again after trying to give this place try after try, it just didn’t work for me.
I love everything about K9s. the staff and owners are amazing people and always willing to help you find what you desire. i have not been disappointed. cant wait to see and try new product. 2 really big thumbs up!
Eight months ago I needed something for my elderly mother for back pain. K9 Chronic was referred by a nearby dispensary. I was completely uneducated. At that time options for “recreational users” were pretty much limited to flowers. One of the owners took a lot of time to explain what my mom needed and why and how to prepare it. Not only did the Cannatonic help her back pain, it also greatly improved her neuropathy. K9 is my first choice when she needs another batch of medication. They really want to help. Once they didn’t have a high CBD rec so they looked up a dispensary nearby that would have a suitable strain for her. I am so happy that they were my introduction to this immense learning curve.

I really like this dispensary. I’ve gone to all the local stores a few times. When I went to k9 it instantly became my go to. The customers service is on point, the selection is solid, and it’s all good product. If your not really sure what you want I guarantee an employee will point you in the right direction. They have a very understandable menu. Just all around good really. I seriously recommend em to anyone.
I’ve been to many pot shops in eugene/ springfield even venta. This shop out passes all of them. People there are friendly, knowledgeable and the customer service is amazing. I will drive miles to buy from them. Check them out you will not disappointed. This is by far my favorite shop. They even delive.
The budtenders are legit. They are knowledgeable and helpful. Large selection of strains. Kinda feels like black market drug house tho… The hostess up front is horrid. Very rude and seems like she is stoned out of her mind.

Weird apartment location, but close to home. Decent prices. Open early, a plus for those whose days do not start at 10:00. Staff is cordial, not gushy and retail-phony like some places. Good bud. I like the waterproof, childproof bag they give you — bring it back for a discount!

This place has very nice staff, especially Fred. He’s extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and will point you in the correct direction if he’s unsure about your question. I also love how this place opens up at 7am! It’s clean, organized, and they take debit/credit cards.

One of my first dispensary visits inside Oregon. Loved the look when I first walked in the door. The customer service was some of the best I’ve come across. The bud tenders were very informative and the pricing was great even for recreational. This will be my go to dispensary for all my smoking needs due to the variety and overall great time I had in there. I for sure left with a smile.

Best concentrate in EugeneSpringfield and the surrounding area. Almost always the best bud prices, regardless of deals going on elswhere. Flowers look aste good, high quality curing, white ash. Hopefully they’re the first around town to lable terpene contents, it’d be a big help to med patients. I forgot my water bottle there and they held on to it for me. Yay! Save your baggie!! 🙂

I have been to like 20 different dispensaries in all the legal states and this one was the best hands down. I might not even try another one in oregon as long as this one is open. Friendliest people ive encountered yet. The product is like if you built 10 shelves above the top shelf and put it up on the 10th shelf thats how good the bud is. Wanted to update my previous review.
I’ve noticed some good improvements since I last reviewed. Coincidence or they really take their reviews seriously, either way they deserve credit. Pre-rolls, their rolling papers (raw) are great quality, burn evenly, taste great, less harsh.
There was a new person working the front desk when I went in and she was very nice, and was able to hold a conversation, she made me feel welcome and comfortable. Unlike the person who is usually there.
Once I got back to the room, everyone was nice, helpful, respectful, and made me feel welcome.
I do hope these changes stick around! Keep it up!
I found some $3 grams here that we’re good quality for the price! Blueberry was my favorite. Great location and the owners are super cool.

It was a short wait and all the people I dealt with were really nice, but I wasn’t too impressed with the flower. Most of it was trimmed poorly or looked and smelled like mid-low quality bud. One of the strains I purchased had a sticker on the bag that says “DOES NOT MEET NEW TESTING REQUIREMENTS” they didn’t say anything about that before we bought it. Everything decent was in the $12-$15g range for rec.

I come here all the time and always seem to deal with Billy, actually he’s the only one I knew the name of until last night when I met Gary. The two of the are well informed and got me all the medicine I needed.
I went in today with a bit of a budget,and was guided to try the Lemon Sour Diesel BHO .I went in this morning , It’s now 7:56 pm and I’m able to write a review. The product was great. The service is always great. I will always go back to this place .There the best place in town.
Stopped in to get some blueberry and white widow. Price was right quality was horrible extremely dry buds should of known when they pulled out prepackaged grams luckily I was vaporizing it otherwise I would of been really disappointed. Will not be returning even if the price is right.
weird little location I didn’t feel comfortable coming I to an apartment complex to purchase my meds…the two guys working were super nice & helpful…hopefully they will get more of a variety of oils in. will return

Great spot with top quality buds. The staff and owner are very nice and. Check in time is virtually non existent compared to other dispensaries. Some reviews complain about the pre measures sealed bags; I believe it makes total sense and the buds were fresh. I chose the 501st OG (never seen a THC content at 29.7%) and Catatonic and love both. The pricing is reasonable especially for the cbd flowers. Will definitely be going there again.

I hadn’t smoked in 13 years and was very reluctant but the owner/manager was awesome.

Happened to stop by today and pick up a gram and it’s just as well run as it was the day they started. Very classy. First off i extremely liked the fact that there was no top shelf/ low shelf. They didnt separate recreational from medical so i could see everything i was missing out on. It made me feel not so judged and segrigated because i do not have my medical card yet. Your ideals are golden and i thank you
They never have any new strains, and there located is sketchy. Only dispensary I’ve ever located at the downstairs of someone apartment. Way too expensive, Much better meds elsewhere.
This place has the cheapest prices I’ve found anywhere in the Springfield/Eugene area. They give you like a %15 discount every time you come back and re-use your bag, so $5 pre-rolls end up being $4.25! And the staff are all laid back, except for the owner? Or manager.. He’s a little snappy, but still has good intentions and hooks you up in any way possible. Everybody here is helpful, sociable, and as positive as can be. If you come in and act all douchy though, I’m sure they’ll respond with a less excited attitude.. *cough* the receptionist(s) are awesome. I literally don’t purchase anywhere else!

My go-to store. Budtenders are hit or miss as far as personality, but all are helpful and knowledgeable. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes, better than old school waiting on your guy. Prices are lower than most Springfield stores.

The staff is amazing and the location is convenient since I live nearby and I can stop by on my way to WinCo. I’ve been to shops in Eugene but they seem kind of pretentious. This is the only place I shop.
I have been pleased with K9, beards and all. Its probably safe to say that they aren’t backed by huge investors…. With that being said, they turned a ground floor apt into legit mixed use commercial space and provide consistent buds and advice. Some might snob at this place, but for all the ‘small timers’ out there, these dudes made it work.
Speaking of dudes….can we get some ladies working here? and my last suggestion…please consider live weighing instead of prepackage.

My first time coming there was less than pleasant. The receptionist hardly said two words, and the people who helped me were not very friendly. The atmosphere was a little unsettling, I did not feel welcome. However the product is great. I figured I would give it a try since they’re closer to me. I would be willing to try again on a different day, but I would rather stick to my usual location.
Outstanding store! Knowledgeable, friendly budtender; great prices for the quality (and a fantastic attitude that leans more toward the mission than the profit, as I’m confident will become apparent on 1-4-16 when the Taxman cometh); very convenient location that offers a lot of discretion for those who may desire; and the best operating hours–by far–in the Eugene/Springfield area. After a few months of testing the recreational retail waters, my new go-to, likely my permanent go-to.
I’ve got to say that this dispensary has good deals! Location is nice and budtenders are chill. One thing that stands out is the receptionist who isn’t the friendliest most welcoming person (sure you’ve heard that before). At other dispensaries you feel more welcome, can even possibly hold a conversation instead of it being awkward. They should really consider that and it’d make it that much better.. Other than that it’s worth checking it out!

By far the best dispensary. Delivery is badass. Product is high quality also. People that work there know their stuff and are educated on the products, and don’t make you feel dumb for asking “stupid” questions.

Bait and switch, some prices are double the Leafly menu prices before adding taxes. When you bring this to their attention, they do not even correct Leafly menu. There are lots of honest dispensaries to choose from.
I think it’s great place with easy access. The customer service is the best I’ve found so far. Billy is a great person to talk to. He is knowledgeable in the products.

My review was deleted but I think everyone should know that this place charges $10 more per 1/8 of flower than any place I’ve been into and it was most definitely the VERY worst flower I have ever received from a dispensary anywhere. I also didn’t receive a first time patients gift like nearly every other dispensary offers. Do not go here! Apparently they called the police on another customer for leaving a bad review. Normally when someone has a bad experience the shops will apologize and try to make up for their poor service but not these guys. Sheesh!
Today was my first time in a dispensary. Prior to choosing a dispensary, I checked out every one in the Eugene/Springfield area. This one blows every other one away. The location is easy to find, they have the best selection in town (no only rec or only medical strains,) and the staff is extremely friendly. They even haveva discount for returning customers who can keep up with a green plastic bottle.
I would however suggest you check the website and not the app, as there were some price discrepancy but the awesome staff did honor the price that I was lead to believe I was getting.
All in all, my first trip to any dispensary blew me away. My only only complaint is parking. While its easy to find a spot, I’m not sure if I was parking in the apartments spots. But that is my ONLY complaint.

Went in to this location and the dude at the counter didn’t really say anything and even walked away while I was picking out my strand. (I’m a medical patient even.) The grams were pre- packaged and tasted a little stale, nothing weighed out in front of me like normally. This is different from my first experience where the employees were friendly and interactive as well as willing to provide knowledge on the different strands. Hope it was just a one time thing I really liked my first visit.

There cheaper bud is usually stems and untrimmed bud. They definitely need to learn how to properly manicure a nug. Kind of sad. I’ve given them many shots but I won’t waste my money there unless I was forced too. Oh and it’s always ALWAYS .1g short.
Friendly, patient, knowledgeable and didnt break my bank. No waiting at all. Picked up some Trainwreck, and it is as good as it gets. Also grabbed some MaxiHaze(high cbd) and must say it was probably the best looking and tasting cbd strain that I’ve had. Highly recommended.

This was my second time to K9 Chronic, and I love it there. I walked up to the store, had the door opened for me and greeted immediately. I always enjoy briefly small talking with the staff– be it about fun tattoos we have or a random story. I love that it’s all family that works there. Today they had 3 or 4 new strains. I decided to try out their strain “Sour Nightmare” and am pleased with the quality. There prices are the cheapest near here (as far as I have found)..and from what I have experienced around town are pretty average priced.
the bud was ok but the staff seemed to baked to even treat the costumers with respect plus the location is awful!

Pre-sealed bags, not a great location, wait time was 5-7 mins when there were 3 bud tenders available (usually medical doesn’t wait…), at the time I went there were not many concentrates only some Island Lab syringes, flower was tasty though & reasonably priced. Definitely wouldn’t make the trip to Springfield for this shop, but if you live in Springfield it’s a good choice. Recommend the Blue Pineapple for flowers!

I never leave reviews but I felt like I owed it to others to submit one for this place. I have never been treated so poorly (and I am not young) at any store before coming here. I’m not sure how they stay in business by treating their customers so poorly and disrespectfully. I will never go back here nor will I encourage others to.

I am brand new to Oregon and made my way into the store after I found it on Leafly. First thing I noticed was the big sign clearly seen from the road. There is ample parking available behind the building. The lobby was nice and very clean. They even had a coffee and herbal tea station 🙂
The strains were displayed neatly on the counter and the bud tender was ready to take care of me. The owner came in and thanked me for coming in. It was a overall pleasant experience for me and I intend to come back.

Hands down, the best dispensary in Springfield. The employees are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of CBD options (my preference) and are always giving out free samples! Tens all across the board. Support your local businesses and shop at K9. You won’t regret it.

well my me and my brother bought 2 g’s from a specific companies line-up there at k-9. the oil was tasty but the packaging was horrible it was a if they packaged it heated it all up and ran it over, it was in every layer of wax paper. ohh and heres the kicker it was suppose to be shatter so it being refrigerated and not hardening proved it was not shatter.so after spending $96. on 2 g’s of “shatter” and me not knowing untill the next day because of work we had tossed about a half g of oil from the 2 due to annoyance and hastle. im not saying k-9s at fault for the product itself but for me and a few others to have said something about it and to have the product still on the shelves is beyond me.WOW!!! for someone like me who is always trying to chase down mixed-cbd strains this place is a miracle. the prices are great, the buds are all well-grown and cured perfectly. it’s a long bus ride for me but definitely worth it. really nice guys and true old skool stoners….
I would have given this store a quality of 5 stars, but after visiting today, and getting a gram of bud, only to peel back the label and it had a completely different label underneath with a completely different strain name and percentage. Definitely won’t be back, which sucks.

This is a very good location and its easy to find. They are compassionate about medicine and they had some really wicked buds. They have a nice medical counter where I bought a new to me cbd product.It was great to find some new cbd drops to try. They are very nice people at this shop so it was a good shopping experience there for me. I would shop here again.
These guys are great and always have been. I had recently got some bho that was below par and they made it right by giving me good stuff for free. Never had a shop been so nice to me when something like that happens in the last three years of being a medical patient. Go check em out for sure

In our current economy, finding the best deals is always a priority for myself. In K9 Chronic, I have found just that! Cheapest grams in town, which I then take home and squeeze in my rosin press for cannabis oil. Great quality for the price point, and I get some good clean medicine. Love how they offer so many great specials for our veterans, and I enjoy the laid back atmosphere during my visits. Everyone seems really approachable and down to earth, not snarky or arrogant. Kara is usually my bud tender, and she knows her stuff! Always helps me find the right smoke for the occasion. Highly recommend giving this place a visit if you haven’t already, or you’re looking for some of the best pricing around!

I’ve been waiting so long for a shop like K9. I have a qualifying condition for an OMMP card, but for a variety of reasons, I have not applied for one. Cannabis is medicine, and K9 gets it; whether you’re an OMMP patient or a “recreational” user, you’re only purchasing a strain like cannatonic or harlequin to treat an ailment. The $6/g equal pricing policy for CBD strains speaks volumes about this dispensary’s character. It’s about a 20-minute drive for me, but I’ll definitely be returning to K9.
It was OK. The location is weird. It looks like an apartment. Staff was friendly but a little pushy. I described what I was looking for (basically a nice indica) and he was pushing really hard towards a sativa that I had tried and disliked. It was weird. But the stuff I got was good. They have an awesome slider top bag that was really cool. You get a discount if you reuse it so that was rad.
Sylvanna is a doll! She is so knowledgeable and helpful. I had planned on purchasing a certain strain, it was a “top shelf” strain which I was familiar with. Generally, I opt for the higher THC strains. I’ve been coming to K9 almost since they opened. Sylvanna recommended a lower THC strain PGSC that turned out to be fabulous! It is one of their lower cost strains and is one that I am quite happy about. I appreciate that Sylvanna takes the time to ensure accuracy of my order and has even gone back to check the video when I thought I had left my meds there. Thanks for having a good selection of bud as well as nice knowledgeable, friendly staff.

Overall it’s a decent dispensary but you should definitely make sure your “menu” is current. If you are out of something, especially at a tempting price like $4 a gram, you should take it off your menu if no longer available :).
Been here a few times and always love the laughs I leave with. The herb is amazing as well. Hope we can get the honey sticks back in soon. Billy helped me out and was top notch as always plus he’s pretty cute.
