The staff working (Devin and Nelson) were super friendly, very knowledgeable and made me feel totally comfortable throughout my experience. Devin even took the time to call a manager with a random question I had & I really appreciate that level of customer service. I don’t really go to dispensaries, but I made the right choice with this location and its awesome staff! Thank you!

I told her I was interested in pre-rolls and she showed me their menu and explained different effects from the strains I was interested in. The store had a relaxed feel. Like I didn’t have to rush and could make a great choice. I will surely shop here again.

Knowledge & patient staff, especially to older patients with less vaping experience. Thanks for helping to end the stigma. Had to give 4 stars for atmosphere – lack of outdoor lighting making the entrance difficult to see & walking to/from vehicle at night.

19. There are at least 10 other dispensaries that I can go to with lower prices within a 10 block radius from this location. Nectar Montavilla however is always worth the extra trek to make my bi-weekly purchase. Pro tip: use the atm on site if needed.The fees at the atm are within reason.
    Look for the name tags next to each product. Those are strains that employees have tried and have been handpicked for quality and value.
    Spend the extra money for the better quality strains as I have found that Nectar in particular has excellent taste when it comes to the more speedy strains. You get what you pay for here.
    Their value priced strains are great as well, I just have always enjoyed spending a little more here than anywhere else because I have always been blown away by the taste, aroma, and the buzz of the higher quality.
    Employees can be a little bit aloof but I don’t really let other people vibe me out very often so it’s never bothers me.

36. The location on SE 89th is in a quiet residential location, unlike some smaller dispensaries located in sketchy strip malls on 82nd. Friendly and seemingly knowledgeable staff. 44. Nectar has grown rapidly in Oregon; I believe it now has eight locations. One might expect such growth would turn the dispensaries into convenience stores with little emphasis on personal service. Pleasantly that hasn’t changed been my experience. Today I visited the Nectar Montavilla location for the first time which, while a bit tricky to spot on a busy stretch of Stark (better signage might help) the dispensary did not disappoint. A little smaller than the Sandy location, but that didn’t appear to affect the size and diversity of its inventory. Finally, the help and advice we received from budtender Justin was exactly what we needed and look for in a decent marijuana business. Will go back.

48. Great staff and selection. This was my first time here, drawn in by particular strains on the menu. Only negative issue, which the budtender did her best to address, was that the prepackaged jars of flower contained some relatively large stems, but this was not a huge issue. Also, they have some great deals.

    – Super Cheap Joints

    Cons:
    – Everything is old. The freshest product was 6 months old.
    – Overpriced.

    I bought oil a few times, okay prices. The last time I spent $30 + on flower, and thanks to their menu, I wasnt aware I spent $30 on flower with 11% thc that was a year old. They have a return policy but id rather just get fresh product that is good and not have to deal with walmart style returns.

63. This is my go-to location. I am not a heavy consumer, but I always come in with specific wants. The staff consistently is friendly, and incredibly helpful finding the right selection, and sharing their insights. They always take the time looking up reviews, and helping me understand the lineage and history of the strains.

    I cannot say enough good things about the location. I would be content having this be the only dispensary I patronize.

    The doobies I purchased where head-kicks (sativa) that made my day. I wish all dispensaries operated in this manner.

79. I am so disappointed in the quality of the high and the flavor of the herb I purchased in addition to the poor quality physically. The flavor profile is supposed to have an intensely flavorful terpene profile remeniscent of banana and tangerine. Instead I can barely even taste the classic weed flavor while smoking. I am highly unsatisfied.

87. Found 2 large stems with no flower attached in my 1/8! Do not buy prepackaged bud. I would just go to another dispensary where they still measure out nugs in front of you. Nectar is the McDonald’s of bud. I was really wanting to like Nectar, but I was disappointed.

112. I’m very happy that Nectar opened this location, this is where my former go to place was before it closed. The $4 grams are a little dry, but they’re inexpensive and will get you there. The folks are friendly and the weed is good…great place.

113. Everytime I come in is pretty much the same, which is great, there are no surprises. I came in today to get the AVO oz deal, and the (I think she was new) budtender did not ring up the right discount and charged me about $10 too much! it was kind of frustrating because when I tried to tell her she was not using the right discount she just ignored it and charged me the wrong discount.

     I have the receipt with the date and discounts applied, which shows I got one of the quarters of AVO for $16.34 instead of the $9.67 like usual.

117. The Montavilla (SE Stark and 91st Ave) location is a GEM! All Nectar dispensaries are excellent, but being a newer location (maybe) makes Montavilla lesser known, and therefore less busy, with a fuller selection of stock on hand; which is excellent news for customers. A special shout out to MichaelaEUR| he’s a friendly, knowledgeable bud tender. 🙂
