Shango produces, distributes and sells a full range of premium cannabis products, including flower, concentrates and cannabis-infused confections, baked goods and beverages.
We currently own and operate several state-of-the-art cannabis cultivation facilities in Oregon, as well as two retail medicinal cannabis stores in the greater Portland area. Many Shango products are also available at select retailers throughout Oregon. However, our Shango Private Reserve collection is sold exclusively in Shango stores.
Shango plans to expand our cultivation, processing and wholesale and retail operations rapidly throughout Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, California and any other states where the sale of medicinal and/or recreational cannabis products is permitted by law.

Went in because the normal dispensary i go to was closed. I found it to be actually better than my normal dispensary. The staff are very helpful and warming. I will be visiting again real soon.

Awesome display
I came in yesterday and bought a gram of apple kush. I’m so disappointed in the amount of seeds I pulled out of a gram. I’ve never dealt with this anywhere else. I’m definately not happy with the quality at all and had I noticed the seeds yesterday then I would be able to take it back I’m sure. unfortunately I smoke bowls so idk how many seeds I actually smoked before running across one this morning and 10 more this afternoon. I’m very disappointed.
Unique shop. When I walked in I saw display jars along the left wall with beautiful photo quality colas. However when I said I was interested in flowers I was ushered to a little case with a dozen or so sample jars with lesser quality cuts. Then upon purchase the tender turned around and grabbed yet another little jar with comparable little nuglets in it. I figured there wasn’t much value in discussing my confusion with the tender as more customers were waiting for service, but I assume the cola display is some kind of nug museum.
Quality products, clean and welcoming atmosphere, helpful staff. Only my second experience with Portland dispensaries and Shango was the cheaper/better of the two! Will definitely be back
This location has grown on me. It doesn’t have the cozy converted home vibe, but I really like the displays and the info. People are super friendly and the quality is high!

i checked out Shango for the first time yesterday, November 12, 2014. i found out about it from a willamette week article. the dispensary is clean and professional. the ladies working this afternoon were friendly and knowledgeable on the products they offered. the quality of the cannabis products was top shelf. the pricing was reasonable too. with all the options out there today, going to a dispensary is a bit intimidating for a newbie like myself. but the staff were patient and helpful. one thing to note for people who use the trimet system. there is a bus stop right out front. depending on which direction you are coming from the stop numbers are #1818 and #1819. i would recommend any one with OMMP card to check it out. Shango, thanks to your wonderful staff, you have a new regular customer.
Andrew absolutely kills it. He is so smart and really knows his product, he did a great job dealing with me(I’m not too knowledgeable.) I definitely recommend trying to get a moment to talk to him because it will make you smarter just listening. Whenever I have questions I will go here to ask him.
These guys are the best! The store is always bright and clean, they have a great selection, and the staff is attentive and friendly. And the music is always great! They’re my ONLY stop for weed in the hood!

This place is amazing. The shop is professional and clean. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. The most important part though, the product is first class. Some of the best flowers I’ve in Portland.
This location is convenient for me as it is pretty close to my home. They have a great selection of edibles, and the Munchie Monday is a good way to pick up some of that. The rewards program is good, too, I’ve gotten several pre-rolls for free or 1 penny. Pre-rolls are of good quality with a good grind size. Some pre-rolls from other places are too dense, these are not. Overall, one of my favorite places.
Newbies to vaping, was sent here by a friend in the industry. Had a great time with Blair. She took the time necessary to explain various choices available, how to attach the cartridge via the adapter and even did an initial charge of our new toys. Clean, bright, upbeat location. Highly recommended.

To be fair the flower selection here is superb, however the customer service and policies of this place leave a lot to be desired. This ridiculous garble about requiring you to bring in your child proof container or you’ll be charged for it’s replacement is completely ridiculous. They claim to be hiding behind the new OHA guidelines; as a past dispensary manager I can tell you this is BS and that other methods can be taken to comply with the mandates and not require their current practices. They post specials that have quantity limits and then fail to disclose these limits until arrival to the store. When you speak to management there is a complete lack of concern for your issues and no offers to correct the situation or good will gestures for the inconveniences caused by these issues. This is a nice place and next door to me, but I won’t be going back anytime soon…

Shango is a great recent addition to the PDX scene w/ a minimal yet top shelf selection of flowers, concentrates and edibles.! It’s an immaculately beautiful shop adorned w/ amazing close-up cannabis photography, custom metallurgical signage, and cola’s of the flowers displayed across the wall. Professional touches such as showing the lab plaques with each product and sporting 42″ flat screens to show the current/upcoming menus impressed me. The Orion’s Belt flowers are fantastic…. AAA+++… Ya’ll check them out!!!
I’ve been to a lot of dispensaries since legal recreational sales kicked in last October, and Shango is definitely one of my top favorites.
My first visit was on the day that sales of rec edibles, topicals, and concentrates started, and I had already been to 3 other dispensaries that day. Most of them had at least a few items in each category to offer, but the information I received about what was allowed was hazy and varied from store to store. One budtender, from another dispensary, even told me that topicals were still off-limits. As soon as I got to Shango I was given the straight facts (which I later confirmed online).
The budtenders who helped me, Tiana and Teisha, were able to offer advice on a lot of the products, but were honest with me when they hadn’t tried something I was curious about (this is exactly what I hope to get from any budtender). They gave me a Funk Sac, which I really needed since no other dispensary even offered me one. I don’t have children, but I’d never forgive myself if one of my friends accidentally ate a medible at my house. Also, my partner DOES NOT partake, so it’s an extra level of security there, too.
The interior of the store is clean, organized, and professional. Some dispensaries make you feel like you’re at someone’s yard sale or Tupperware party, but Shango actually feels like a business in every way.
In short, YES I will be back (very soon), and YES, I will bring my friends. Shango’s approach helps legitimize the recreational market and should be supported in every way possible.

I went to Shango because it’s near my house and I’m a fan of Tommy Chong. It was my first time buying pot legally and the clerk at Shango was super cool and friendly, answered my questions and helped me figure out what I wanted. I’ve already gone back once, and am pretty sure this will be my go-to pot shop when I am feeling the jones. Ahem. Excellent cool budtenders, great weed. I came from Hawaii and my cousin took me to this store to pick up my daily supply. This store is awesome it’s clean. The people are friendly and the weed. The weed is premium . Reminds me of da kine we have back home. The price is cheaper then what i pick up. I tried da PINK FROST now that is a smooth high. I went back and got da MANGO KUSH I loved it, I could fell the tingling on the side of my face and i was high. Now that is a good rush.

A little bit of a different setup but I like how they display the different strains. Their flower looked beautiful for the most part. Flower was prepackaged and no complaints except the Sticky B nugs were popcorn sized. Got the chill berry, Orion’s Belt, and sticky b and they all were pretty good. Staff were friendly and service was good. Thank you to the young blonde lady that helped me. Overall is was a pretty good experience. I will be back. 🙂

This used to be the place to go to get quality Marijuana at a decent price. I’ve been coming to this location to buy since it opened about two years ago. Since then the prices have continue to rise, while the quality stayed the same (for flower, I don’t even look at the ridiculous prices of oil). They put up the best prices they offer on a billboard and when u get in all they have is $10/gram minimum. Never have pre rolls, don’t take card anymore. Don’t bother giving your money to this corrupt out of state business. I won’t be coming here anymore despite being texted every 30 days by their automated service.

Every time I visit here I feel like I’m in the candy store scene from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. You know, the one where the candy man sings while gliding around on a rolling shelf ladder and showering colorful treats over all the schoolchildren?
The colorful treats here are great quality, and the ambiance is both stylish and modern…yet what really makes this place hard to beat is the staff. Pretty much they’re like the candy men/women of cannabis; friendly, knowledgeable, and quite passionate about helping their customers find the best strain to fit their needs. Sam assisted me while I explored the variety of strains, telling me about each one in turn, and advising which ones I may like based on my tastes. His suggestions were right on target!

after seeing shango on the news and the clean and inviting appearance representing class and professionalism I expected prices to be somewhat higher than I’m used to paying. I was surprised to find they had just as good if not better quality for an affordable price. a good variety of both concentrates and flower I was very pleased with 8ball kush and Luke Skywalker shatter! molly was so helpful and sweet she helped me find exactly what I needed I’ll definitely be back 🙂
Came in because I just happened to be in the area and had heard about Shango before. But really glad I did. VERY affordable, quality bud. Good atmosphere and really chill staff. Was helped out by Tiana and asked what the budtenders there had been digging got some great recommendations to try out. And for giggles picked out a 1/4 of Blue Magoo from their lower priced shelf and was very pleasantly surprised! Great terps, not dry at all (which I do find semi common in most places that do prepackaged flower though haven’t had that problem here yet!) and defiantly got the true Blue Magoo effects. Would recommend stopping by if you haven’t already

Really cool setup very “upscale” atmosphere………. With that said I do not like that all the pot is weighed out ahead of time. The pretty buds in the glass are sealed and you can’t smell em or anything. VERY IRRATATING I think the 2 times I went in there I dealt with the same guy. Acts like his pot is the best thing since McDonald’s breakfast was served all day. Honestly it’s kind of frustrating that they have a “shatterday” deal but the last 2 Saturdays we went in at around 11am and they were sold out of shatter.. So today is Friday and we called tonight to make sure they had Shatter in stock for tomorrow and the guy says “Yeah but we only have one kind of shatter and not much left so you’ll want to get here really early.”
This is annoying because Shango is new for us and we have enjoyed their blue dream wax. But if they aren’t going to stock up for their special daily deal, what is the point in us driving 20 minutes to come out just to have to settle for something else? Why have an advertised deal if you aren’t even going to stock up for it? We were driving past at least 10 dispensaries to come to Shango because we liked the product. Unfortunately I think we will have to take our business elsewhere tomorrow since they aren’t well stocked and too far for us. On a positive note the staff have been super friendly everytime we’ve gone in and the product has been good. I hope they get this figured out soon or make it a priority?

My first trip to this location and I was automatically blown away by Haley’s customer service, she not only helped me find a new favorite strain, but got me to step out side my box! but it gets even better she hooked me up with a Shango lighter and pipe! I’ll be back for sure!!
Great aesthetics, but found the quality of the medication didn’t match. Dried out flowers that didn’t look or smell like what was in the display jars. Overall just be careful; looks can be deceiving.

Just moved to Portland from Hawaii. I met the owner Mr. Shane of all the shango dispensaries at my job and he is the coolest most down to earth guy ever… mostly I have to deal with assholes but this guy made my night just talking with him, he was glad to hear that Cannabis has changed my life for the better due to being hit by a drunk driver on my motorcycle at age 21. Even his friend he was with were cool. Went in this morning to checkout the shop and it is amazing I will be back when I have more than 15$ and get another danky, but even their lower priced stuff is amazing. Shoutout to Shane and his Buddy we need more successful people like you in our world. Hope to see you guys soon.

I brought my friends from out of state here. It was their first time at a dispensary as well as my first time in this particular shop. This shop at this location is the best shop I’ve been to in pdx so far. The experience here is one of the best I’ve had because they truly went out of their way to help me out. With that said, they also have some of the most frosty buds I’ve seen. I’m definitely enthusiastic about weed and I can tell they were as well. Plus they have a rewards program. Check it out. I dig shango. This was my first time at the location, which literally was set up exactly the same as the other location. The place is clean and full of variety. Being from Beaverton, I was a little hesitant to drive all the way out to the Airport area to see Shango’s first location, so when this location opened we made a point to stop in next time we were in the area. Still a bit of a drive, but pleasantly surprised at the wide selection of products they had. Didn’t really care for the “rap” music playing when we came in, but it didn’t last too long…. When are dispensaries going to wise up and tailor the music to the clients, not the staffs likes… I’m 60 by the way, thats why i don’t care for rap. We didn’t really need anything in particular, but were impressed with the selection none the less. This one is worth stoping in at anytime you are in the area!
If Apple were in the cannabis business, its store would look like Shango’s. The presentation is second-to-none, and the medicine is top-shelf.
I’ve been to the location on 82nd twice, and purchased Banana Kush (concentrate) and Chill Berry (flower). I especially like the high quality glass jars they give you for flower and the silicon cases for concentrates.
I highly recommend Shango, it has definitely sets a high bar for a dispensary experience.

Seriously people! if you want dank ass weed that not only looks, smells and tastes great, but is affordable, then Shango is where it’s at! Hailey Jane hooked me up! I never have to doubt the quality. it’s just there every time I go! I absolutely love Shango and the staff!
The classiest location I’ve been to yet, they display their product in glass jars on the walls as if it were an art gallery, which isn’t far from the truth. I got to find out why there’s four locations for sure. The bud was top quality fresh, and in jars you don’t want to throw away. They threw information and discounts at me like it were confetti! The only thing I would critique is that they seemed understaffed, and not all the clerks were the friendliest. The guy who was initially helping me was wonderful.

This dispensary is awesome! I bought the SKYWALKER wax and also the CHILLBERRY wax,and they were so beautiful and delicious! I also tried a gram of the Banana Kush flower. Shango’s flowers are by far the best I’ve seen! The potency and taste are tremendous! Everything is prepackaged to be free of contaminants and fresh, which set me off for a moment until I opened the sexy little jars! Wow! The skywalker and cinex are astounding! Well worth the investment. It doesn’t even feel like a dispensary but more like an AT&T or apple store. The staff are well dressed, attractive, helpful and friendly. Will definitely return! I went into this place looking to get a gram and see what the quality was like.
Scott, the budtender on duty, has to be the most helpful person I have ever dealt with. I told him what I liked and he enthusiastically produced some of the nicest and most fragrant flower I have seem for some time. I got an assortment of various flower; from top shelf to the bottom. I was not disappointed in the four selections chosen by him.
Just a little thing but the the two top shelf grams came in nice little jars with their logo on it. Nice touch! Their assortment of flours, oils, topicals, etc. are extensive and professionally displayed!
I will definitely recommend this business to any of my friends. I am, as a matter of fact, on my way there now!

Dipped in to escape the rain, came out with a couple of gorgeous grams. I love their set up, the shop is clean and their presentation is wonderful. Along one wall, you can get a great look at not only the flowers themselves, but also a full analysis of each strain, with sample containers on the counter to get a whiff and a closer look. The staff was pleasant and helpful, I’ll definitely stop in again some time.
During our snowstorm my regular dispensary was shut down so we headed to shango the service was exemplary and unlike my other dispensary they were extremely hands on on my selection of canabis which for me is a selling point.. the deals are great too I’m now a returning customer thanks Shango

The quality and variety here are excellent! Whether you’re on a budget or looking for primo product, there’s something for you. Try the Easy bud if you’re looking for value – 5g for $32 (tax incl) is a great deal!
As the legal landscape around legal herb changes constantly, I notice that Shango Harold has carefully stayed ahead of the game on their licensing. Having seen other dispensaries close suddenly and indefinitely for licensing issues, I appreciate that Shango seems to be run by folks with business acumen.
I’ve said so in previous reviews, but it’s worth reiterating: Shango Harold has put a LOT of work into developing their customer loyalty program. They’ve refined it several times and now seem to have struck a good balance between ease-of-use and customer benefit. Incentives that don’t involve a lot of math for customers = yay!
Also, Shango Harold is the ONLY dispensary I’ve found locally with a jar swap program that encourages customers to return containers for discounts.
Environmentally responsible loyalty programs are not at all common, and considering how much glass waste a dispensary can produce, this should be an industrywide best practice. Please let other dispensaries know what Shango Harold is doing right, and encourage them to follow suit and develop social responsibility protocols like these in their operations! 🙂
This is my go-to dispensary. It is close to home, I like the atmosphere, and the flower strains are always on point. Plus you can’t go wrong with their rewards and recycling programs! My ultimate favorite part about Shango is the staff though, they are always very friendly, informative, and helpful. Ian has never steered me wrong in helping me pick a strain when I can’t make up my mind and he’s funny to boot. Hopefully he’ll grow back that gnarly beard.

I absolutely love this dispensary! I’ve been coming here a few months now and every time I come to stock up I always walk out of there blown away by their customer service. Everyone is so helpful and this is the first dispensary I’ve been to where I get really great advice for medical stuff. They have a great rewards program and I especially love the jar recycling. They are a bit of a drive from my house in Milwaukie but well worth the trip.

It was my first time at this dispensery and there were a few outstanding differences between this dispensery and the others I have been to. First of all, Josh was an amazing help! I had so many questions about the different types of edibles available and he was patient, professional and very knowledgeable. The information available in the store was helpful to determine what I should try and I loved the way they display the varieties available. The penny pre-roll deal is pretty sweet too! The only thing I can suggest is making the parking lot more noticeable, it’s difficult to tell that it’s behind the building.
Altogether it was an extremely enjoyable experience and you can bet I’ll be back!

My neighborhood pharmacy. I enjoy the staff and the place is very nice inside and out. The medication is powerful, especially the flower. However I can’t give and won’t give any medical dispensary a 5 star review unless everything is perfect. The problem with Shango is it’s lack of a Sativa dominant strain. That’s a pretty big problem. People believe a pure Sativa and Sativa dominant hybrid is a hard thing to come by these days but this is not true. In order to have a top shelf dispensary, you need to be dynamic. Having a dispensary full of Indica’s and Indica hybrids is not an example of being dynamic. But Shango is still a great place to get pain relief medication or medication that treats seizures, MS, and chronic Arthritis. I would go elsewhere if you’re looking for a more creative, uppity, depression relieving, motivating strain.
I’ve been in here several times now and the staff is always amazing. Sam helped me tonight decide what I wanted to buy, but everytime I am in the service is excellent. This is my favorite location/place to shop because it’s so chill.
