You can tell by how much they care by not only having daily deals but also there prices are way better and on any level and there medication quality doesnt suffer … I will put nectars medicine against anyone… where else can u spend forty dollars and get bho and an 8th of flower both are quality … they have helped me as a patient so many xs … nectar made it possible for me to use rso during cancer when I had nothing…they were there through my spine surgery too…BEST DISPENSARY IN PORTLAND!!!

8. Its not often that I walk into a dispensary and the budtenders are very friendly and they know a lot about their products. On top of that, all of their products are top knotch! This dispensary doesnt mess around, they got the best. You need to check this place out!

The bud tender who helped me had long, curly ass red hair and she was super friendly, knowledgable and and helpful. Usually when I go into dispensaries I can feel awkward because I don’t know much about cannabis, but my experience here and with this bud tender in particular will definitely have me coming back.

However, Keith made me feel welcome and relaxed as he explained how the different types of vapor pens and accessories worked together. They still are a good club, but i probably wont be going back. their lvl of professionalism has gone down, ive heard false information told to some customers that ive had to correct. a few of there budtenders are trash, a few are awesome, and the rest are nothing special. Plus ive been under weighed twice while visiting. i just remember them being awesome and now i never get that same lvl of service

110. The staff at nectar on Sandy is super! They have come to know me and what I like/need for my pain. Cupcake is always recommending some of the best strains for pain, and insomnia and strains that will keep me relaxed but retain enough focus so that I can remain productive during my daily activities. If you are as specific as I am, Cupcake will hook you up with what you need. He’s awesome.

135. The place is in an easy to access location and first impressions are great. In the main room they a have great, inviting atmosphere of dark wood and a stylish arrangement of products. Colleen was my bud tender and she was great. Thanks Colleen! I usually know about what I want and she showed me everything I wanted to see. One tiny complaint is that the bud is prepackaged instead of weighed out in front of you, but you get to see and smell it before you commit so it’s not a big deal. The OG Kush flower I got was very solid for the price and they had an impressive array of concentrates spanning many different budgets which was nice to see.

     Overall really good! Keep it going guys!

154. This is one of my wife’s go to places. If we encounter again the “budtender” (I use that term loosely for this young lady) that waited on us yesterday, it will not be for long. The staff here is usually friendly and helpful. Not yesterday. She was very unfriendly and acted as if it was a bother to help us. I don’t know if Nectar moved the staff we usually see here to their new location, I just know that they were nowhere to be found yesterday. If this had been our first visit here it would have been our last.

158. This dispensary is open late and on holidays. Great quality medication from what I tried so far. The black titanium is definite bang for your buck at $7 a gram and boasting over 20% THC. It is a pleasant Indica, that doesn’t make you sleepy. They also have cherry pie OG with over 33% THC content at $12 a gram. Great deals too. I would def recommend to a friend.

164. I came here because I saw a good deal on concentrates but unfortunately ended up with a sub par product. I am completely convinced the cinex wax I got contained butane. It sparked and crackled and was harsh to the throat. I contacted them and they were very nice by offering to swap it out. They also told me it had been tested and came back clean for butane, stating that the only way there could be contaminants is if their lab lied to them (3BA is the lab according to the bottle). Well they lied to them because I can personally guarantee it was an impure product. Otherwise seemed like a fine dispensary.

My dispensary of choice for many reasons; the store is always clean, is really well laid out, I love the fact that we are not isolated into a one client at a time scene but rather we can meet and greet and help one another with new information. 176. I picked up some topicals last time I was here. I tried one of the dermal pain patches, and it was definitely effective. I felt like the patch negated any pain to the applied area for a few hours. Unfortunately, it didn’t last for 24 hours; more like 4-6 at most. Good product, but a little over-priced. I also left with IFO Healing Salve, which has been great for temporary relief. Best when used with deep massage techniques.

207. Many bud shops have a curious layout, and this Nectar location is no exception. There’s a massive front room with glass pipes and other paraphenalia (and where you check in) and a sales area that’s much smaller. Customer service is attentive and, on my first visit, extremely helpful.
     Tonight’s visit was less so. I came in looking for a very cerebral sativa strain that was out of stock, sadly. I asked for something similar and the budtender recommended SL-15, which I purchased. I’d never heard of the strain, but she did say it was energetic and uplifting.
     At home, I tried to find out more about the strain, and hit a dead wall. There’s nothing but a name with price and CBD and THC levels on the shop’s website, which was surprising. I haven’t found anything else online about it either.
     This part is on me–I should have checked this before buying the eighth: the flower is *extremely* dry, virtually no moisture whatsoever. Then again, it was packaged in January!
     I recognize there’s no law against selling old herb, but that’s o-l-d.
     So, let the buyer beware.

271. I recently bought a vape pen at Nectar. The CO2 Company is the maker of this fine medical delivery system. Each dose is measured evenly for predictable relief. When buying the pre-filled cartridges, stick to the Golden Leaf brand and always read the label to make sure you get the best THC/CBD level for your medicinal relief. There is far less odor than smoking flowers, so it is discreet. One important fact about this vape pen is you must not put this in your pocket with keys, change or other metal objects as it can discharge or short out the battery. I made a felt sleeve for mine for about 50 cents.

272. Went to this location for a deal on co2 cartridges. Well I was in the store I figured I’d pick a gram or two of concentrate since I was low. First gram is 20 days shy of 10 months old, and its taste and high reflect it. The second gram I picked was cause of the nice amber color it had, plus I like the strain. What I got is dark brown and is extremely unstable. I have to freeze it just so I can get it off the parchment paper (most of it anyways). To say the least, I will not be coming back to any Nectar shops. STAY AWAY if you want concentrates. The only saving grace to my visit was the guy at the front desk. He was nice, sociable, and smiled.

278. The Swazi Safari was excellent. The bud was soft, dense and a little bit powdery. The smoke is extremely sweet which is very rare. It’s comparable to Blue Dream or Blue 47 which is a Sativa dominant but gives you the same body high. I would say it is as euphoric as Super Silver Haze. Really optimistic can care-free feeling with a heavy behind the eyes effect you can get from Alien OG. Great name! I would recommend it for someone who spends time in nature it makes the sun and trees look beautiful.

280. With all the hype of all the nectar dispensaries I was thoroughly disappointed in this one. The location was good and it was ok inside I’ve seen a lot nicer. But I couldn’t get over how rude the girls were that worked their. I can in Saturday night and the receptionist barely said a word to us. When we came in I handed her my cards and she never made any type of conversation. I then proceeded to the back and it seemed as though the girl with the green hair in the back was trying to push us through. There was one other guy there getting helped by another budtender so it wasn’t like we were holding up anyone. We then bought some herb and she put one glove on and was tearing up the buds into pieces. 517. Recreational review. This is an ok dispensary. I basically come here because it’s on the bus route and because they stay open late after I get off work. They are nothing too special, they have good bud at the higher price ranges, like $11-14 a gram, and sometimes their $10 a gram stuff is good too. They run out of strains a lot and their leafly menu doesn’t reflect their true stock most of the time. They are pretty friendly and the location is decent. Nothing to complain about really besides the prices.

557. Pros: Great, friendly service. My budtender was very helpful and not condescending or aloof like some of the budtenders I’ve encountered around town. Prices were reasonable and selection was very wide! I went during the 4/20 week sales, and got an eigth of Key Lime Pie for $20. It’s great quality and came in a glass jar which is excellent and very unusual.

     Cons: I also got 20 pre-rolls for $20, and maybe I shouldn’t complain about such a ridiculously good deal, but the quality left much to be desired. They were dry and harsh, and the plant material was. I use cannabis medicinally, and didn’t get much symptom relief at all. I definitely regret that. My advice is to stay away from the pre-rolls, unless you’re not sensitive to harsh smoke and just want a cheap buzz.

     Also, maybe this is just me, but putting huge mannequins in the room (they were there to display Nectar merchandise) was extremely unnerving and probably would’ve scared the bejeezus out of me if I was high.

     I’ll still go back to Nectar, and I recommend it for friendly service, quality flower, and wide selection. Just pass on the pre-rolls.

585. Been trying out different shops around Portland for the last two months since moving here. Finally found a shop that caters to all my needs. Their menu is longer then any other I’ve seen. There bud tenders are fully aware of the effects of their cannabis and can have an accurate conversation discussing the smoke of the products they’re selling you. 632. I will start by saying I have not been to any of the other Nectar locations, just the Sandy spot. It was slow, customer-wise, when I went in to check them out. The young lady who was my budtender was not very knowledgeable about their strains, very short (ie: completely lacking) with her customer service skills, and was definitely trying to “hurry me along,” even though there was nobody waiting behind me, which I could understand had they been busy. I caught an eye-roll after asking to check out their “Trainwreck” flower for a second time, got an eighth of it because it’s one of my favorite strains of all time. That said, I fully believe this was NOT Trainwreck, nor indoor-grown like I was told. I am very familiar with that strain, and haven’t touched the 2’ish grams that are left, in weeks, for it wasn’t flushed properly, and was an extremely harsh-toke, and the taste and stone was nothing to write home about. I will give Nectar another chance, but not the Sandy location. The Cherry Pie flower I got was great, however.

715. Nice shop, a rehabbed home not too far from a MAX stop. I got there early-ish in the day but it was already crowded. Reception/waiting area was comfy and the receptionist was quietly friendly and helpful.

     The inner sanctum was nicely put together with wall-to-wall glass counters. The cases were *packed* with an overwhelming number of strains. No worries about choice here! I was glad I’d decided ahead of time though. (Nectar makes that easy by updating their menu frequently, more than any other dispensary I’ve been to.)

     Cody was very friendly, helpful, and respectful. As a 55-year-old woman, it felt good to be there. Some shops can make me feel awkward or even disrespected, but Nectar felt very welcoming.

     Talk about bang for your buck: I got a great deal on some Jack Herer (my holy grail for pain), *plus* there was a special for one free gram of organic Pineapple with any purchase, **plus** I got a free pre-roll for being a first-timer. I rolled out of there feeling well taken care of, for having only spent $25.

     All the medicine I got at Nectar was very high quality. I found the pain relief and mood lift I was looking for, most definitely.

     All in all, I was not sorry that I took the MAX all the way from Aloha. In fact, I’ll be heading out there again tomorrow for another month’s worth of pain relief.

756. Feeling much better about this particular location of Nectar. I dab on the daily with a fixed budget & prefer not wasting my time, so I usually look at a dispensary’s menu on Leafly to make my selection beforehand. However, I Stopped going to this particular location for a few months because their Dabbing selection exceeded my budget & bud tenders acted purposely unhelpful….almost rude because I’m cannabis educated. Now during my last 3 visits, I’ve noticed a better selection & price range of concentrated. The Bud tenders have also been engaging, educated & willing to do some research before I made my purchase. I appreciate their time & knowledge…especially the tall & bald black gentleperson (didn’t get their name) who amused me in some 90s hip hop music nostalgia – also the catalyst for me submitting this review. 757. Nectar is the ONLY Dispensary that I will go to and the Sandy location specifically is my favorite. Every single person that works in this dispensary is awesome! As someone who has intense anxiety it is amazing that I feel so comfortable and at ease here, it it unusual and can only be credited to the caring and intelligent staff. I cannot imagine going somewhere else, I hope nectar and it’s beautiful staff are always here to provide me with high quality meds!!! Thanks for everything guys !

774. Nectar is definitely one of the best cannabis shop chains in Portland, consistently offering high quality product, very friendly and expert bud tenders, and convenient locations.

     The Sandy store in particular became my default cannabis store while I was in Portland. They always had what I needed, and the staff were always very welcoming and attentive. The menu offers great variety, and clearly differentiates the different tiers of quality, such as top tier, mid-grade, etc. While everything they offer is well-sourced, their top shelf products are truly that, such as Terra Canna Farms products and other high-end growers who offer some of the most potent and clean medicines around.

     Nectar is my primary recommendation for anyone shopping in the Portland area, and their prices are very reasonable and fair. Thanks for all the great herb, Nectar!

776. Visited today and was impressed how origized it was dealing with the new law. Being an OMMP card holder was I helped as soon as I went in. Staff always friendly and know their medication. Nectar is always my first choice in my weed needs …

780. Well I was very exited to visit this place. The atmosphere was good, I felt welcomed and I really liked their gear.
     The problem is that when I left and checked my bag I noticed that I had less flower than what I’ve asked for and payed for. I went back, they had closed already , so I knocked, one of the budtenders did come out, told him and showed him I only had one jar with marked with 1/8 when I had order 1/4. he told me that that was the right jar and that it had a 1/4. And it was the wrong strain I asked for too, I asked for gsc and got sun sherbet. :/
