Good stuff! They were out of pre rolls but were happy to roll me a gram of whatever I bought on the spot without extra charge. Lots of attention to service, and the owner was present, shaking hands and ensuring return business. Prices were fair. The waiting room was a bit clinical.

I live in the Salem area, but would rather go to Portland for product due to the really great people that work at Happy Leaf. I’m a cancer patient and the service is great.
It’s a nice location, open space inside, great customer service, and they have security. Shows that the place is legit, and actually cares about their customers, especially when you deal with the bud tenders. They were quick with their service, and were polite. Security was very friendly, and made the place seem even more welcoming.

Meh. I agree with the other review a couple weeks back. There’s definitely much friendlier budtenders at plenty of other places. The snarky ginger dude, he’s the worst. Probably just a female thing tho. I’ll spend my money and tips elsewhere.

Every time I come in they have added something new and exciting. The staff is super friendly and they always take their time to make you feel at home. Cool shop. Stopped in for some of there Yoda OG and it was spot on. Nice security guard upfront, was very personable and outgoing. The Budtenders I worked with were laid back and friendly, and gave me a nice little descriptions about the strains. I work in a shop in another part of town and its great to see others doing good things!

Talking badly about other dispensaries to your customers is a HUGE turn-off. I won’t be back, and I’ll be recommending my friends to the other dispensary.
I just returned from my first trip to this spectacular shop and I have to say, I am still a little blown away by the service I received.
I only stopped in to by a new vape battery, but the fantastic staff spent time getting to know me and was able to point me to the perfect product for me needs.
I strongly recommend checking this shop out!

This pot club is off the charts!! Every person in the place has a smile on their face at all times!! I’ve been going there since they opened. The sincerity and compassion is all there at happyLeaf. I won’t name any names but I’ve had some consultations to discuss my symptoms and what I should get to fix what ales me. I have severe chronic pain and I can only sleep for about 3-4 hours at a time, usually. But!! Since I’ve been visiting happyLeaf on a regular basis my pain and sleep are tolerable…..I tell all my friends to go there all the people in the HIV community who suffer from chronic pain and lack of appetite due to meds can now get relief from the wonderful staff at happyLeaf!!!! TRULY

Just picked up some of the gorilla glue #4 the other day and it was fire, the concentrates are always good too, hella terpy.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgable, not just a “sativa or indica?”, quick in and out kind of deal, unless thats all you want out of the visit.

This location is very clean! They have pineapple Durban, and some other great Sativa strains. Also, they carry some Green Bodhi flower, any shop that does so is A+ in my book.

AWFUL service!! Waited over 30 minutes to get into the sales room after I was repeatedly was skipped in line. The waiting room makes you feel like you’re in a doctors office, not inviting at all. I do not recommend this dispensary to anyone. I will not be returning.
Not bad, but the Great White Shark is absolute crap. It smells and tastes like mexican brick weed and didn’t even work.

Really nice location with a lot of space inside, definitely a plus with rec. sales right around the corner. The employees were very friendly and the place is filled with not only top shelf flower but connoisseur grade concentrates as well. Overall a great experience, one of the very few places I could recommend to others.

I absolutely think that happy leaf is the best dispensary in town. Rose City Wellness is 3 blocks from my house and I would rather go on a bus and come behind Lloyd Center to the folks at happy leaf then to spend a dime over Rose City Wellness. that’s how much better they are. there’s no comparison Bar None they are the best dispensary in Portland what the best bud tenders and the most knowledgeable people in town it has to do with buying your herb!!

I had the best experience here. I came in a few days ago and got some OG#18 and Chem4Sour Disel both budtender recommended and im very happy and satisfied and impressed. Its the best bud i have tasted in a long time ,awesome quality of flowers and very welcoming and very knowledgeable staff. Love the atmosphere. 1 thing, have a repair man look at your ATM to save you and customers a hassle. As an OMMP card holder would definitely recommend this place to medical and recreational stoners.keep up the awesome work

I went into Happy Leaf for the first time without knowing what to try. After giving an in depth briefing of my medical situation, Jasmine proved to have listened to me by explaining why Kosher Kush strain would be a good fit for my needs. Not only was she right, it’s still my favorite strain to this day.
Great staff. They answer my many questions and are helping me learn as I am trying to get into the business.

I came in for the $20 1/8th special of the Royal Cream, in a time of the 25% tax Rec prices have gotten pretty steep , I’m happy , Happy Leaf had something on their shelves that was affordable and still got the job done for me . I would definitely refer a friend to go here . Also , their joints have a Gram in them !! No dinky half gram joints here 🙂
One of the most expensive stores in town. No eighths for less than $45? Come on! I can get a $30 eighth three blocks up the road. $25 eighths are common in the city as well. The staff is wonderful, but I was there for the last time today. Can’t pay these prices anymore. =[

These are some of the nicest people I’ve met in Portland. Service was great, fast, knowledgable. The atmosphere is a little sterile but whatever. You ain’t moving in. You’re just passing through.
I started researching CBD’s recently and eventually got through the doors of Happy Leaf just 100 steps from my building. First off, the staff at Happy Leaf are very pleasant to be around. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. I walked out with some Cannatonic two months ago and have been baked every day since then. Love this dispensary and its 100% my #1 go-to place.
Selection of products and flower is refreshing. Two things I’d improve: the waiting room & updates of inventory on Leafly. If Happy Leaf’s waiting room were livened up like Jayne’s, customers may not mind the wait as much (although there is rarely much of a wait). Also went in to reload on some Kosher Kush but out of stock. Still on the website as having inventory.
They are now considered a recreational dispensary as of yesterday, 12-14-16. I highly recommend checking out Happy Leaf, regardless of where in town you are. It’s worth the trip!

Cmon, this place is OK. Its fair. They got a good selection, but you bet you gonna pay for it. I come here occasionally when I want Green Bodhi’s awesome weed. This place is one of the few that carry their stuff. If you dont mind a drive, Calyxes is where its at for green bodhi.

This is honestly my favorite dispensary both in my neighborhood and in Portland. I mainly dab and their oil selection is really reasonably priced for the exceptional quality- I’ve tried a ton of strains and I haven’t been disappointed yet.
I’d also like to shout out their awesome staff. I have only had positive interactions every time I’ve gone in. They are very knowledgable, friendly and most importantly, honest about the products. I also appreciate they don’t make me feel rushed even when they’re busy.

This place had some nice strains like the Girl Scout Cookies, Golden Pineapple and Mystery Haze that I would get if you are in the neighborhood. The overall service wasn’t the best compared to a few other dispensaries I’ve been to and the atmosphere was okay, don’t buy their house pre-rolls by the way.

This is now my new most favorite place east of the Willamette! Stopped in for the 420 specials and were blown away at all the freebies! Some of the nicest most knowledgeable staff I have ever encountered! They now what “customer service” is all about! After a frustrating time trying to get there after work, I’m disappointed that the hours are so inaccurate and I wasted my time. I saw that this convenient dispensary had recently opened and kept meaning to go in, and I finally visited on 4/20. I received a gift bag with some nice treats along with my purchase. Their flower menu isn’t (currently) that extensive, but it features some interesting strains (I was excited to try Golden Pineapple!) along with the staples. The employees were all very friendly, and I’m sure I’ll be back!
I tried out Happy Leaf just from a pic I saw on Instagram, and boy am I happy I did. Their flowers are totally on point and by that I mean flushed & cured to PERFECTION!! I have been an OMMP patient for over three years now and have been to almost every club n town looking for that REAL OG Kush. And I found it at Happy Leaf, staff is super friendly & knowledgable. So I would definitely recommend this dispensary to all OMMP patients, especially the true cannabis connoisseurs that are looking for QUALITY medicine.

I didn’t know specifically what I had been waiting fifty years to experience, but as soon as I heard those words, while I can’t go so far as to say it was worth waiting for, it was definitely a pleasure and I knew we weren’t in Kansas anymore.
It was a very odd experience to walk past uniformed security and present my ID to a recptionist (“Holy crap, she put it in a database!”) to make my first legal purchase, (“It’s a trap!”) and then stand in front of a display case in front of a wall ‘menu’ with some young whippersnapper telling me about weed! “let me tell you, sonny, about cheap Mexican weed, seeds and stems, shoebox lids, wheat straws and ‘Sunshine of Your Love’ on the car radio!”
They were amused. And I learned a lot. Drat!
Everyone was friendly, but then that’s a Portland trait, so not much special about that, although there was a certain mellowness and readiness to laugh that was…appropriate. The prices are acceptably reasonable and have not so far gone up the way they will once the government realizes just how much tax money is potential.
Cash only, until the banks wise up. Tax included in price.
A very pleasant place to do business and I walk past another shop that opened up four blocks closer to my house to get to it.
Sushi-friendly location and a great selection of concentrates. Friendly staff, lots of open space, parking’s not bad (especially for that area)… will definitely be back.

Quality:
Wow. The time has come. Real quality hash in Portland. If you think the hash oil you get from you’re favorite shops is any good, than you’ve yet to learn about the true quality you’ve been missing. On the shelves of Happy Leaf you’ll find names such as BAMF, Prime, HGH and others. I’m pretty sure Kiele mentioned there are more to come. It’s the only place in Oregon stocking meds of that quality from such trusted extraction artists.
Service:
The awesome staff at Happy Leaf have done us all a great favor. They worked hard and made it possible for us to have this type of quality. That’s a wonderful thing and it’s all I could ever ask for. And then they make a $60 cap on their hash oil. That’s damn compassionate.
Atmosphere:
Everyone at Happy Leaf is awesome they make your visit comfortable and friendly, ideal. For me, when leave I just think how I’d like to go back already.

Great location and selection of flower for recreational use! Very impressive layout with a neat clean waiting area and service counter section. The bud tenders were very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Im an OMMP patient and really liked the fact I didnt have to wait (there was no wait because they are so efficient) to be shown medication!! They also have security that keeps out creepy people from coming inside!! A+ Happy Leaf!!!

Today, my bud tender was Jasmine. I bought two of the 1/4 oz. specials, Black Jack and Sour Frost ’99, both at only $40! Very nice smoke on both counts and Jasmine gave me some very nice nugs, I might add. Lauren, who was also there, was also super cool and upbeat. I really liked the atmosphere, the vibe, how nice and fun the girls were…this place has it all. It’s also very close to some good food places, as well. I will be back, for sure! 🙂
I’m 24 and from Kentucky, so over the course of the last 3 years and change I’ve only had a limited number of opportunities to go to dispensaries (this one being my 4th) but it’s the best one I’ve been too and I “highly” recommend it

I was disappointed by the service. I haven’t been in a dispensary for about a year, but was having some pain issues so I stopped in. I was a bit nervous about even going in because it had been so long and then the guy who greeted me was unnecessarily gruff with me. Just not friendly at all.
I got what I came in for and it did a great job, exactly what I was looking for. Zero complaints with that. That dude just made me not want to go back there.

I have visited a few dispensaries and I have to say that the overall experience from beginning to end here is great. The staff is super friendly and there strains are always good quality. The best thing though is the ice hash, which they make in house. 60% THC content that is solvent free and at only $15/g, I am definitely going back!!

While their bud quality is good and their preroll selection USED to be awesome, the past few times I have gone in, I have been so disappointed. So much so, that I leave with nothing. The last time I went in which was 3 weeks ago or so, it was SO crowded inside. The budtender I was working with couldnt even get to the counter because there were so many customers. He also seemed unknowledgeable and kept showing me buds that were $17.50 a gram (which is too damn much for weed, i dont care about the taxes) and I was left disappointed.
I’m reviewing as Medical Dispensary:
Despite having a great location, space and eager staff, this not a great Medical dispensary. Their Medical selection is pretty narrow, hard to find & distinguish from recreational products. Additionally, in my encounters, a fair number of staff are not as knowledgeable as the staff I’ve experienced at other Medical dispensaries. They do give line preference for Medical card holders though, which is nice when I’m in a rush and already know what I want.
Yeahhhh oh mannn these cats at the Happy Leaf wut can u say man??!?! Good selection of dank nugz which are exceptional for my condition and not to mention got me baked beyond belief!!

I wish I could go higher than five stars. i’d go ten!! this is the best dispensary in the city-BAR NONE! Kiele is a confident team leader, very friendly & patient. My budtender, Oscar, was super knowledgable & fun. he introduced me to the best flower I’ve ever smoked (Golden Pineapple, give it a try!!) & I’ve been smoking FOREVER! when this place is a RECREATIONAL dispensary (WHEN!) it’s gonna rule.
Convient, even though I walk pass a competitor that’s 3 blocks from home…the extra 3 blocks to Happy Leaf is by far worth the walk. I visited the the store on it’so opening day…my first purchase was Mystery Haze. Now on Thanksgiving Day 2016, monsoon rain that wouldn’t stop…website did not reflect closed…audio recoding did not say closed, so I dashed down to purchase (soaked mine you) sign on door said closed. Upset but I had dinner to finish and family from Vancouver brought plenty. Still my place.
My favorite place, and close in NE too! The budtenders are always relaxed and friendly. I don’t feel like I’m in an assembly line, versus other places. There are a lot of shops in NE. Save yourself time and come here.

Some of the best flower I have ever seen. the budtender was really knowledgable and very friendly. my only complaint it is very stark, the guy at the front desk was somewhat vacant, and the form you have to fill out is really long and somewhat intrusive.

I have never left a dispensary so happy (I mean it is my first too)! I came in with my mother, yesterday, looking for something to help her with her pain and to help her get some sleep. The young man who greeted us at the door also was the one to go behind the counter, listen to my mother explain what she was having issues with, and then happily lead us over to some edibles to try out. He had confidence in what he was selling and my mother was absolutely giddy to try the stuff! All the way to ringing up our order and giving a happy farewell, a smile never left his face, I love it!

it was a nice clean shop. their benches in the waiting area were very unique. the front desk girl was chill as eff veru polite profeasional but cracked a few jokes. owner was cool as eff too. a buddy reffered me so told me to tell him hes got a pre roll wating for him. also said that if they didnt have anything they can always make calls and get it in. plus they had nwkind for 20 which is all i dab so eff ya. will be def makin a trip back
Everything’s great except the astronomical prices.
I decided to stop in after having lunch at Pastinis around the corner. All the flower was gorgeous, but I nearly collapsed when I saw your prices. You are currently charging $330 an ounce for Purple Hindu Kush. I got the EXACT same Purple Hindu Kush, same grower, for literally 1/3rd that price at $110 an ounce at another dispensary. How do I know it’s the exact same grower? Well what are the odds that two different growers would have tested both at exactly 22.58% THC and 0.096% CBD? I can understand some places charge more than others, but literally triple the price is insane; and don’t forget the more expensive it is, the more tax you pay.
Another example of your prices being out of line with the norm. You charge $21 for a box of Wyld Chocolates. I can get those exact same Chocolates for $13 a box. Not to mention the place that sells them for $13 has a buy one get one half price on edibles every Monday, so if I go there on a Monday I can literally get two boxes of Wyld Chocolates for LESS than you guys are charging for one box.
You’re still in business so some poor, uninformed people must be paying your exorbitant prices. I for one will not be ripped off. I left empty handed, which is extremely rare for me when I visit a new dispensary. Get your prices in line with your competitors and I’d go back, otherwise good luck to you.
They sold me some of the stickiest green I’ve ever had!! And I love their canisters so easy 2 open 🙂

the employees are nice but the shop is pretty sterile feeling. overpaid for the 2 grams I bought and they were the smallest little nugs I have seen in a long time. I also heard one of their bud tenders telling people it’s OK to smoke in public “just don’t do it in front of a cop.” this isn’t what we want bud tenders telling tourists. it is bud tenders like that guy that are the reason people keep smoking in public which makes us all look bad.

I’ve been a regular and won’t be back. I come in a few times a week. Usually decent service, but sometimes a wait, but tonight I came in, no one greeted me, one person was on the list ahead of me. I left after waiting fifteen no Ute in the lobby with no greeting, no offer of assistance, no “I’m sorry, just a few minutes more.” Nothing. put that up there with the so so weed I’ve been getting from there lately and I’m done. the convenience isn’t worth it when I’m paying top dollar for junk weed and even worse service.
Two words, but more so names: Carrie and Sophie (hopefully the spellings are correct).
I went in earlier today in hopes of just grabbing a Pre Roll when unfortunately they were out at the moment and in the process of someone rolling more to replenish stock (containing XJ-13 but not a good strain for me).
The girls offered some other deals and grams, which was nice but not what I was needed since I don’t really have a price and was looking for the convenience of a pre-roll. After over sharing that to the two, Carrie talked to me about her favorite strain and why, and then proceeded to offer to roll me a pre roll of whatever gram I bought. I was totally blindsided as This was just so awesome. She literally made my whole day! After she weighed it out and Sophie was totally personable and genuine in having a conversation with me while I waited.
I’m still very impressed, and definitely don’t ever expect anyone to ever have to do that again for me or anyone else, I am just totally in love with Happy Leaf.

I just can’t say enough about this place! We stopped in for the 420 specials at exactly 11am when they opened and were already second in line! It was nonstop while we were there! We were already thrilled at the great deals we got the first time we went in, but they topped that yesterday! These guys really know how to take care of their patients! Great selection, good pricing and totally nice staff running the place too…. Easy to find, easy parking too! So, new? why are you sitting there, go already!
Favorite dispensary ever!! And I’ve gone to a lot of dispensaries in the last 3 years I’ve had my medical card. Great service, staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Occasionally if you’re lucky and they get a new product in they’ll let you try a sample for free. Good prices, and with their specials they really do have the best deals in town (specials from this dispensary would typically save me $60+ in one trip). If you’re in NE this is the place to go. Go to any of their neighboring dispensaries and you will kick yourself!

I drive about 45 mins even though I’m closer to other shops because the staff is wonderful & prices rock! Plus these reviews for a preroll for $1.25 is awesome! I would suggest Happy Leaf to anyone looking for a chill place to buy you rec fun buds!

I go to this dispensary very frequently. They always have a diverse selection of bud and great deals. The staff is very friendly and genuine. Everyone there is very strain-smart and helpful.
I went here for the NW Kind – XJ-13, but they had sold out, they corrected their menu and brought it out as individual items listed on Leafly which I like.
The entry person was not enthralling. He did his job but seemed a bit over medicated.
The two female budtenders were PHENOMENAL. They were attentive, knew the leanings based off what I originally came in for and recommended equivelants that I liked after viewing, with which they were very thorough, allowing me to smell the two shatters I bought before I did. Bonus points there.
They were also very accommodating about my requests for copies of the testing for my concentrates. They wete more than happy to do it withput any distraction.
In regards to their flowers, I persobally found it very reassuring that all the flowers were tested by the same company. In my mind this allows consistent measurement and comparisson so kudos there too!

So the receptionist wasn’t very enthused to be there, the bud tender was very friendly and the girl that came out the back when I was about to leave was evenmore friendlier it wasn’t for those two friendly people I probably would’ve left. Wish they had a better selection for those who are ballin on a budget 10 dollars for a lil bit of bud expensive.
