I went in during their grand opening. They were very friendly and helpful. Good selection of flower and concentrates. Picked up a Ccell Palm battery for the new sized cartridges for less than anywhere in the web. I really enjoyed my visit.

This place is my ALL TIME favorite dispensary. Every single girl (They really should call it ms.nicegirls) here is incredibly knowledgeable and well versed in SO many products. Every time I come here they are cheerful, professional and they’re INCREDIBLE people too! No matter what you’re looking for these girls got something for it. I won’t go anywhere else now. This place is 10/10
Very very impressed with this little shop. First and foremost, lets just say Serena is by far the absolute best budtender ever!!! Not only does this little lady know her stuff, but, she is the one picking the buds to come over from their main location. The eye for quality this young lady has is beyond astonishing!!! I’m a huge ass of a conissour. Not to toot my horn… but, I’ve traveled all over the world experiencing the fruits of the cannabis plant. Mr. Nice Guy provides quality above and beyond what most shops carry in Salem. If you are a true lover of quality flower than look no further than the Mr. Nice Guy… you will indeed leave a very happy customer!!!

This place is hands down, the best dispensary I have EVER gone too. the place is quaint and homie, the service is excellent, the product is excellent for the best price I’ve ever seen, and all of the girls there are absolut sweethearts. I’ve been smoking for 30 years, and this quality at this price is honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. give him a shot go in and say hey, ask for Kira, she’s the coolest! just go see. Good location
I’d been meaning to check out this new place and had a specific strain in mind (Pineapple Express) and did not leave disappointed! All of their flower seemed to be excellent, top-notch product, and they have great deals for every day of the week (medical prices for all on Mondays, 20% off wax on Wednesdays, pick any day’s deal on Sundays, etc). The staff was upbeat and cheerful to be around, very knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed happy to find what their customer is seeking (and no one scoffed that I only wanted a measly gram of floweraEUR” it was a sweet price at only $5/g, too). I also like the casual environment of the old renovated house. Definitely recommend this place and will be returning soon!

My fiance and I visited this place for the first time a couple of days ago and right off the bat we liked the building, it’s this nice, older house with a porch swing and some nice patio chairs and table. None of the windows were covered so inside it was bright and cheery just like the staff. The budtender that helped us out is named Kayla and she was so sweet and bubbly and knowledgeable. She helped us find the perfect products and strains for our specific wants and needs. Speaking of products, they have one of the more extensive selections of merchandise that we’ve encountered so far. A great selection of everything: concentrates, edibles, flower, CBD bath bombs and salts, bevereages, etc. Can’t wait to run out so I can go back, lol!

I enjoyed the characters in the area. Their enthusiasm and knowledge about the strains of marijuana is impressive. Also the fact of them being so chill and simple to just have any type of conversation they connect so well. That being said they are generous based on the discounts days they have. I really enjoyed the hospitality and the respect within this area. I defiantly will come back here, since I’m out of state 😉

Best dispensary in Salem! Caleb and Taylor were very helpful and full of knowledge.They gave the dispensary a good atmosphere when I walked in. I will be going back to do all my shopping at this dispensary.

The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Ashley was very helpful. She listened to all my concerns based on past bad experiences with THC. She was super understanding; and helped explained what had happened to me in the past and how to avoid it in the future. She worked with me to set up a plan for re-introducing THC into my body. She was in no way pushy and let me take the lead when making choices. Her level of knowledge and capablity of finding answers when she didn’t have them made me feel comfortable in information she gave me. I will definitely come back and bring friends 🙂

Very laid-back setting. Nice looking flowers. Our budtender, Taylor, was extremely vivacious, exuberant, even. You can tell she has a passion for MJ. I appreciate the lack of bullshit, too.

This was our first time in to THIS Mr. Nice Guy. We frequently visit the one in Depot Bay and really enjoy that store. So we thought we would try one a little closer to home to see how it was. We did not leave disappointed! Our budtender Ashley was amazing! Friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I think we walked out of there with more information than we have ever gotten anywhere. She made us regular customers from here on out. Prices are great also, we also love that there are specials going on throughout the week too. We’ll be back soon!

It has to be said, your location. You’re in the flats and some people may be leary… I’m not one and I’m sure your people say the same. I’m sure it’s also been said before marijuana became legal, the flats were where you got your flower, among other things. I sure did and I had friends who lived right in the middle of the flats. So, 25 years ago, Felony Flats was a dangerous place to be but it was all violence,like gang violence,drive bys, with selling drugs as a side. With that being said, she’s making a comeback and I am ever so pleased!
It is wonderful to see all the business coming back because this is a beautiful area of our town that only got its name Felony Flats because the Oregon State Penitentiary is a street over and those concrete houses on 25 th st.is where the prisoners would have visiting time with their wives. After all, back then, why should a wife have to wait to bear children just because her husband is in prison!Crazy stuff. Which is also why I find it so incredibly ironic that there are so many legal pot shops in the great felony flats! Keep on Rockin David! I’d definitely recommend your place to anyone who asks!

This place doesn’t match up to there previous week prices. why would I pay $7 more for some thing I paid for last , this week when supposively I’m getting the same deal. you gain a prominate customer then lose a customer. Had to come in twice in one day and still left empty handed cause they don’t really know their prices and forget about them making you a deal. and If you tell them your budget they may Goff at you which is embarrassing to do in front of other customers.
LOVE this location and it’s employees. Serena recently helped me with my purchase and she was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I love the variety, and the aesthetic of the shop.

Mr. Nice Guy on State is my go-to dispensary. Their products are unbeatable.
Last night I dropped in on my way home to pick up an edible for my migraine that has been nagging me all day. I feel fortunate that Kayla was working. She was fully educated with what works well for migraines and why. I ended up buying a slew of items on her recommendation. I am glad I did. After popping a few fruit chews and applying an extract to the base of my skull I had relief within 30 minutes.
I used to drop in more often when they allowed dogs because it was a nice walk from my house. I hope they reconsider the dog policy.
The only place I go now. Love the staff, love the pets (Finn and Luna), love the products and love the deals.

This was my first time here and it was their grand opening.
I need to also put a preface that this was probably the first few hours of the grand opening. Keep that in mind.
The location. I parked at capitol market and on the way to the front door I was solicited for money about 3 times. Unfortunately there is alot of homeless people in the area and on the section of state street that the retailer is on just comes off of a one way so getting there can be a pain if you are coming from the east.
The inside was nice and was an old renovated house. It didn’t seem out of place at all.
When I walked in it was fairly crowded because it was the grand opening … but not TOO Crowded. There was probably a 1:1 Staff to customer ratio … so busy but not overwhelmingly busy. I already knew what I wanted but the staff were busy fussing with the computer or struggling to dispense product in a timely manner, others were chatting and some just looked overwhelmed or nervous. Obviously this has alot to do with the fact that this is a new place. But judging by the reviews I figured they already had a soft opening and since it was later in the day I thought they might have the swing of things.
Eventually I was greeted and I said immediately what I wanted as I knew in advance. The staff member began dispensing the product and measuring it in a wooden bowl with chopsticks. The product was dispensed into a pill type bottle that seemed quality enough. My gripe here is that unlike some other dispensaries the staff don’t really wear gloves or wash hands after handling money, yes they do use chopsticks. My second gripe is that in the wooden bowl thing that they weigh the product in … there was a bunch of shake from other products that had been dispensed. Not only does it seem like a risk of mixing product but it also takes no effort to dump the shake or dust from the bowl somewhere. It was just sloppy.
The staff member then struggled to use the computer to ring me up. Now im not trying to be super critical … I get it … It’s the first day … but it took awhile.
Meanwhile another staff member seemed to now have any issues and offered his customers PIZZA ! T SHIRTS ! LANYARDS ! LIGHTERS ! All as a way to say thank you for showing up on the opening day. I am not griping about missing out on free stuff. But I was a little disappointed that my budtender did not mention or offer any of this stuff. So as I left I saw the folks next to me leave with armloads of cool stuff and I had my little bag and felt sort of let down. A good store doesn’t have to offer free stuff to be good but this was kind of a missed opportunity for me the customer to go ” WOW COOL I CANT BELIEVE THIS ” and really have a next level experience that I could share with everyone. Sad day.
My last gripe. Nothing was priced very clearly. The product was labelled well as far as what it was and the numbers etc. but the prices were hard to understand. They had a chalkboard and TV screen that seemed sort of jumbled around and difficult to make sense of. Keep that chalkboard simple and maybe just add one more thing to those jars … how much it is per gram. Too easy.
The promotional price was great for the flower that I purchased and the regular prices seemed pretty much on par with what is around town. Maybe even less for some strains. Keep in mind there is 4 other dispensaries within a block of this one. So I would expect them to be competitive.
Here is the saving grace for this place and the only reason I might return. The quality of the flower is top notch. There wasn’t a single jar of product in that place that looked “budget” . The flower I got seemed like it was grown with attention to detail and pride.
If this place can improve and possibly even change locations I will definitely return for that quality flower. But until they get some experience under their belt there are just too many other good places to go.
i love mr nice guy.im new to this establishment its not far from my apartment.im glad i discovered these guys.the staff is very friendly tue flower is top notch.there very budget friendly and have good flower on there 5 dollar rack.this place stole me away from OG they have superior flower.got a great deal here for 4/20 to.melony and caleb are best budtenders

Was my first visit tonight on recommendation of a friend. I walked in and it was clean and quiet. only one other customer before me. After a minute the budtender said she’d be with me shortly. I said that’s fine. She then proceeded to let someone in the back know more than one person was in. The already present customer checked out as a gentleman came through the door with dutch or some coffee company. The budtender immediately put her afternoon in him and walked off gabbing a convo like I wasn’t there. Thank goodness the other young lady came out to help in just the right time. I wasn’t very please by the treatment and non professionalism of first lady. Make your dates on your own time or ask him to wait till you’re not busy. Question whether to go back or not.
I frequently come to this shop and in my opinion they have a great selection of CBD products. I appreciate how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is. Budtender Serena is dope she always helps me out.

I thought this would be a cute new shop but within 2 minutes of walking in, my skin started itching and my eyes were so irritated. After the mediocre service I received, I left in hives. I soon found out it’s because there was a CAT in the shop. I am highly allergic to cat dander and allergens and I will never come back again.
