11. Finding good bud is largely dependent on the grower rather than the dispensary. So, if you are looking for a review of the quality of the bud, keep scrolling.

    That being said, the things that do contribute to a successful dispensary are on full display after you get through the front doors. The waiting room is a bit small but their front desk staff is knowledgeable and friendly (something you won’t find at every dispensary). Their scrolling lists product they have available is also on of the more intuitive ones I’ve come across.

    After making it past the waiting room the room with all of the goodies is clean, well organized, and full of just about every strain that’s available at the other dispensaries (and some that are not). The staff in the back was incredibly knowledgeable and are able to help you whether you are a novice in this industry or a pro. Also, it’s nice that they factor their tax into the price so you know what you are paying right away rather than finding out you owe $20 more than you orginally thought.

    All-in-all, I would give this place 5 stars for the service alone.

Budtender told us the preroll machine was rolling joint too tight and we needed to “massage” them so they would smoke. The weed was all leaf!!! LEAF Took one apart as it would not smoke regardless of all of the “massaging” I was doing. I’ll not be back

20. I drive past two other dispensaries en route to HQC from my house, and here’s why: While I’m not a frequent patron, every visit has been a positive experience. The staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable about the strains they serve, and if you ask, they will help connect you with one that best suits your needs. I’m no connoisseur, but IMO the quality of the herb is top-notch with consistency not deviating. Parking can be iffy at times, but that’s it. I highly recommend these folks!

I prefer the flowers which are weighed instead of pre-packaged since I like to smell them first before buying them. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. This location is very convenient and easy to find.

I recently went to try this dispensary based on the good reviews.nice place but they have the exact same products at twice the price of other shops in town. their flower mostly tests under 20% and they charge through the nose for it. the staff acted like wanna be hipsters too. I wasn’t at all hurried and he was extremely kind. I ended up going with his one of his recommendations and I wasn’t at all dissapointed. I’ll definitely be back.

56. I’ve been going here for a while now so I figured it was time to write a review. The strains are good. Oregon Diesel is my favorite but they don’t always have it in unfortunately. Not a fan of the prerolls. Very little bud in them. Nordle is a great CBD strain but don’t expect to stay up for longer than 30 minutes. It’s mild. The staff is friendly and professional which I think is the best thing I can say about it. Everyone is nice, welcoming and eager to answer your questions. I’ll keep going for now. But get that Oregon Diesel back!!

57. I love it here! My first visit I walked in and they had the strain that I had been looking for. The only place since oct. 1st that has had it. The bud tenders and front desk people are awesome. 87. I came to High Quality Compassion looking for a pre-roll. Typically, I like to roll my own, but I was feeling lazy and hadn’t been too pleased with the pre-rolls I’d gotten from other places in Corvallis. So I thought I’d give these folks a try.

    The waiting room was tiny, but welcoming, and the guy at the desk was friendly. After a few minutes, I was able to go into the bud room and, holy crap, it’s beautiful. Really, it’s a large and very appealing.

    I got a 1g pre-roll of Hindu-Jager. The THC was only 12%, so I didn’t have high expectations, but that cross sounded intriguing. Only $10, and that price included tax, which was really nice.

    The joint? Absolutely fantastic. Tasted great, smoked great and the high was out of this world. Two thumbs up for High Quality Compassion. I’ll be back.

     The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and what they didn’t know they offered suggestions of places to find the information.

     A lot of the bud tenders I’ve met along the way are *that* guy/girl at the party. Sure, they know what they are taking about, but you’d chew your own leg off to find another conversation. Not here! Adam was helpful and genuine, the kind of guy you’d be glad to talk to in social setting. The gal at the front was great too. Both were down to earth and welcoming. Never once did i feel pressured or rushed. Hats off to whoever did the hiring.

     Lastly, and the reason that this will be my main source of medicine: labels!!! Everything had a label, even the pre rolls. The clones had legible writing. Everything else was printed with test results.

     The attention to detail across the board was very present. This business perfectly walks the line between professional and personal.

126. Just relocated to the area, and these guys were the best rated in the area. Having come from near Denver and a Medical user I wanted to check the place out. Friendly great staff, from the girl that greets you coming in to the Manager.

     All my questions were answered easily by the bud tender once I went in back to speak to him. Quick responses from all who work there. Quality of product is great as well. Selection is varied and menu is self explanatory.

     Loved the atmosphere and look of the store too. Certainly plan on returning often.

186. Placed right along 9th street, inbetween Circle and Harrison, HQC is in the right spot, but the location itself could use a little more room for the amount of people they can pack in there. If the parking lot is full you may be better off trying another, because their waiting room is a bit claustrophobic when theres a line. That said the building itself is very professional, clean, inviting, and iconically Pacific NW. Only thing Aside from the structure I could complain about is how hit and miss the staff can be. Some visits are way up there with the best between the polite desk staff to helpful and excited bud tenders. But if you catch them outside of the major selling time frames the staff can seem a bit distracted, or in some cases seem a bit resistant to your presence. All in all, its another business filled with human beings so dont expect perfection each time. That said, HQC is arguably the most professional, clean, and least stonerish of the Dispensaries in Corvallis

315. I like High Quality a lot. The only thing that concerns me about the store is that I do not know how they split up the prices with multiple strains. I went in a month ago and purchased 4 different 8ths of the low price herbs, so my total was $96. I went in more recently and purchased 3 8ths of the low price herbs and one 8th of the highest price herbs. My total was $140. If I take the average of the low price herbs each 8th costs $24, so three of them should cost $72. This means that the 8th of the high price herb in the bundle cost $68. This doesn’t seem right.

     I was told that if you buy multiple strains the prices would be averaged at whatever quantity was purchased. So if you purchase 4 8ths at different prices, the average of the half ounce prices would be applied at checkout.

     How does it work? I am thoroughly confused.

     – Good quality, even their cheaper strains are very good and they have a decent variety to choose from.
     – Friendly and helpful staff.
     – Comfortable waiting room, much better than the other dispensaries in Corvallis. Doesn’t feel like a sterile waiting room and has adequate seating.
     – Fast (usually). They move people through pretty quickly without rushing anyone when they’re trying to make a decision. I usually never have to wait longer than 5 minutes, and don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 10. Occasionally they do get busy and it can take awhile but that’s just because the place is popular.

     Cons:

     – None really, any minor issues with this place like occasional wait times can’t really be helped and is worse at other local dispensaries.

444. True to their name with a high quality selection of buds, edibles, and concentrates. Every time I’ve been in, there are at least 3 types of indica dominant strains and cbd strains, which are harder to come by in Corvallis sometimes. Decent selection of concentrates and edibles, not the biggest menu, but plenty to choose from. The prices are some of the highest around town, buy their top shelf quality almost always justifies spending a little extra. A couple of times I have gotten buds that were a little dry, but not the worst. I think it was the end of a batch and they hadn’t lowered the original price from when it was fresh. They are always doing some promotional tho, with deals on buds, deals for friends, and free 1/2 g joints for Leafly reviews!
     Staff is always really friendly and knowledge. The shop is well done, with wood/glass/(stone?) countertops, cool artwork, and a modern logo and storefront outside.

Their products are nice but they are no better than other places in town that charge nearly half as much for the same stuff. They charge beyond top dollar for brands like SoFresh farms who have been Clean Green Certified for years yet managed to get popped for having spinosad show up in their pesticide tests.what is the point of calling your flower “Organic” if you are spraying pesticides?
     All in all it is a nice little store with stupid high prices. Instead of calling it “High Quality” they should call it “Low Quantity” because you get next to nothing for your dollar.

     The displays and decor are cute — lots of terrariums. I would give the atmosphere more stars if they did not have a betta fish languishing in an unheated vase. If they stuck to plants or gave the fish a proper set-up they’d be better off.
