14. Love the atmosphere of this place. Knowledgeable bud-tender and the other customers in there were friendly and interactive. Spent longer than I should have but they never got annoyed. The bud here is Fire! Got Bruce banner and Lemon Skunk, both of which were greats tasting and wonderful highs. Also got some edible cannabis oil before the laws change and it blew my mind. I will be coming here again for sure.

It’s a little small so I had to wait a few minutes to get in, which isn’t a big deal since this is the first day of recreational and I was expecting it to be packed. 35. This was the first dispensary I went to in Portland. I really liked it right away. I had been concerned about prices in this clean, appealing, central location, it just seemed more on the upscale side. They had great product and very fair prices. I then tried other dispensaries. I was disappointed, higher prices for lower quality. Even when staying on the other side of town, I frequently made my way out here. I have referred four friends now, and they all love this shop.

Decent buds, but two issues I encountered recently: 1. no real system of linking up budtenders with customers — they let a bunch of people in without making sure there were budtenders for them, so it was a bit confusing. The other issue is they advertise all these specials / discounts on their website, but neglect to inform you until you arrive that they are only available to medical patients. Bummer. On the pro side, they had cheap pre rolls (though the budtender didn’t know how much product was in them — I’d say somewhere close to a gram).

51. Seriously disappointed I come in every Saturday for oil. Today however they were out of “pre-packaged” oil and did nothing to satisfy me. Most likely never coming back. I drive all the way from Clackamas and you can’t even go package some real quick come on.

We arrived to a very clean, professional lobby where we met a girl checking IDs who was extremely friendly and made us feel totally at home (especially seeing that she herself was also hand-rolling their pre-rolled joints), then were instructed to enter the shop itself. The atmosphere matched the last roomaEUR”neat, well laid-out, clean, professionalaEUR”as well as the service. Our budtender informed us about their (very good) prices on bud that they conveniently classified as Top, Middle, or Bottom shelf and asked if we had any strain preferences. He was not overbearing in the slightest and made the experience really easy, comfortable, and laid back (though they had a wealth of information available). I left having spent $20 for two grams of middle shelf Blue Dream plus a .5g pre-roll of Obama Kush. Great personalized service, good prices, love the setup/signage/atmosphere, ample choices.

63. What a pleasure it is to finally have found a place that truly cares about its patients as much as its medicine. When I walked into Gras for the first time I was greeted with something more than the usual enthusiasm from the budtenders who just can’t wait to ramble about their cannabis knowledge; at Gras, I was greeted with happiness. Joey and his staff were a breath of air; they were all smiles and all ears. You can find good prices almost anywhere in Portland but add equal parts quality, attentiveness, and comfort to those low prices and you will find yourself standing in Gras with a smile. It is a true reflection of “The City of Roses”, beautiful flowers and good vibes everywhere! Thanks again you guys!

67. This shop is centrally located near the Buckman neighborhood, clean and well-staffed.

    The flower product is organized in a “top-mid-bottom”-shelf system–there are plenty of decent deals ($10-12 per gram) in the mid range and GRAS really excells at the price point for 1/8th to 1/4 prices for their middle quality inventory.

    The budtender seems to be in control of portioning at the time of sale–other stores will prepackage their stock for future sales but GRAS permits the customer to “witness” the weighing process. Use this situation to your advantage: if the bud you are looking to buy comes in a jar which obviously contains a lot of shake, make sure tp point that out and the person behind the counter is more than willing to hand pick the wheat from the chaff, as it were. Some of the jars here have a substantial amount of loose, leafy material visible much more prominently than buds. This is my only beef with the place, and a small one as long as you feel comfortable asking for exactly what you want.

    Overall, for its convenience and price GRAS will easily be a shop I will both frequent again and recommend to friends.

79. I’m a recreational smoker. With the newly implemented laws we now get to pick and choose from some of the best weed in the country. I live in inner SE Portland where there is an abundance of dank being sold all around us. I went to Gras about a week ago and was presented with a large assortment of flowers. Many were under cured, dried out, and unimpressive. Also the bud tenders seemed undereducated on the product. They did have a few nice buds like Harlequin, but the majority were underwhelming. I appreciate a large selection, but if the product isn’t quality I have no desire to buy it.

88. The service I received was friendly, warm, helpful and I had an all around awesome experience. They answered all of my questions and even helped refer me to a clinic where I can get my Medical Marijuana card and offered to help pay for it when I said I was low income. These people care, carry quality products (and even my favorite sometimes hard to find strain! Yay!) and seem committed to helping people have the best cannabis purchasing/using experience. I will definitely be returning and getting my medical card so I can take advantage of even better deals. Thanks, Gras! You guys seem to really know what you’re doing. 🙂

The only negative was that the selection was a little heavy on the indica side (at least when I visited) and I’m more of a fan of Sativa. I’ll be checking back to see if that is typically the case.

Went here weeks ago for their “special” on the American Dream “Shatter” that I believe may have residual contaminates as it made me sick from how foul it tasted and bulbbled when vaporized, a basic sign that there might be butane left. Also I came in again about a half hour ago forgot I came in before because Ive been to over 20 dispensaries in the last 2 weeks and because they said they didnt have me in their system assumed it was my first time and as I was selecting the free joint while some big haired, bearded guy who works there came in and gave me the dirtiest look and said “you’ve been here before” and I told him “ive been to a lot of places and forgot”, he ignored me and I was so upset the bud tender was trying to cheer me up and did a good job but I’ll never come back here again and didnt purchase anything that visit because of that guys attitude treating me like shit over a $4 joint, Terrible service even for a fast food joint.

119. Convenient east side location. Smaller store. Budtender was very personable. Average selection – including some CBD flower. Rec prices range from $7 to $15.50 per gram. I liked how they clearly marked their pricing and CBD strains. They did not have the specific 1:1 THC / CBD ratio that I prefer, but I did buy some rolling papers and a new rolling machine.
