I was recommended by one of their budtenders to try this Medibud they had for 10 a gram and surley did not disappoint me. And there dusted nugets are crazy good. 29. Came in on Sunday. I called at 9 and even though they didnt open until 10 thy let me in. I got there and it was by far the best experience I’ve had with mmj here in az since coming from California. Completely professional. They guys were really welcoming and i actually felt appreciated and left with a smile on my face. I got an 8th of the alien OG and and 8th of the heavy duty fruity and they gave me a free gram of the mind warp, a free new pipe, and a couple lighters for coming I’m even though they opened 45 min early for me already. I’m going back today. This is my new favorite spot.

36. Most potent meds in the valley. The all around best quality meds I’ve found anywhere in the valley, and one of the best deals on them, as well. (Maybe some places have had eighths as low as $30, $20 donation, but the taste is like the dust of Arizona and the migraines they cause just not worth it.) EGC has never had anything but the finest quality meds that I’ve seen, and the $10 gram days let you sample many different kinds while you’re still figuring out what works best for you, without having to commit to a full eighth or anything. The percents shown for THC, CBD and CBN on most strains let you really experiment and discover that, for example, a high CBD is best for libido, like the Tahoe right now at .71. Or that a high CBN is best for anxiety / emotions / time travel (Try the Blue Widow). Giving you the ability to control your own medicating in ways that were never really possible before under prohibition. Anyway, the only constructive criticism I could make is I don’t really like those flimsy, like tartar sauce containers they package it in. I would prefer a nice tight zippy bag, or even those little plastic vials they sometimes use. But that’s just me, and I guess I could always get those myself and transfer it.

Very disappointed, Quality was below avarage when if came to flower, the shatter wasnt any better very poor quality, now the CBD crystalline I purchased was off the hook, credit due where deserved, probably the best I have to date. 57. Ive only visited two other dispensaries, these guys were my first and most consistent. Great service, sometimes there’s a wait, but that’s out of their control. (Also says something about the business) Easy online ordering if you’re on a time crunch. Great variety of indicas, sativas and hybrids. Edibles are great, and they always seem to have some sort of concentrates on deck. The only down part is listening to annoying, inpatient patients who swear the world revolves around them, and start whining and complaining because of the wait.

60. Wow!! First word that comes to mind when thinking about Encanto Green Cross to describe my first visit!! I have been to a couple other dispensaries but didn’t get anywhere near the same type of service or quality of meds! I was reading some reviews and was shocked to see the negative ones….the ones that are from patients that aren’t happy because of something Petty! It is not right! Having to wait in a long line because of an amazing sale that Encanto was having…..Let me ask, how many lines at other stores, or better yet at a theme park have you waited in without complaining?? And they had their rules about the sale and you had to get the special price in the dispensary….I ask again, how many sales have you gone IN to a store for because the sale was only good in store…quite a few times I imagine! Bottom line, The staff at Encanto Green Cross are Amazing, welcoming, Extremely helpful and Very knowledgeable, the meds are great and it was awesome being able to see the budtender showing me the buds she picked out instead of handing me a prepacked package of meds that I didn’t have a choice on! Thank you once again Encanto Green Cross!!!

73. First of all this place is hard to find and parking sucks. Secondly the flower I purchased was not that great. I came to this location for one specific strain and honestly was disappointed. It was my first time and the budtender wasn’t very nice or helpful. She basically just said “over there is our edibles and here’s a list of flower do you know what you want” not friendly at all. The only positive thing I could say about this place was I was in and out pretty fast. But what’s the point of fast service if the product sucks.

I have been to a few dispensaries around the area and have only written one other review. This place has it all! Everyone there is knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming. They also help to support people with mental illness and abused animals through the art they sell. We no longer go anywhere else.

76. Will definitely return. I was in and out of there super-fast. My budtender was very friendly and extremely helpful. Excellent prices and great specials. I was slightly disappointed with the Northern Lights, but the Grapefruit Kush was bomb and the free Sativa pre-roll was nice.

    They could beef up security a bit. I was approached by a shady and highly strungout character in the waiting area. He claimed his certification had recently expired and he was offered me $17 to purchase a gram.

This places wait is always really long but I try to stay positive I can suggest that patients that already know what they want should go in a faster line and patients who don’t know what meds they want can go in another line and then patients who ordered online can go in their own line as well. 93. When you walk in, your welcomed by a very friendly and knowledgable staff who are more than happy to answer any of your questions and talk to you while your making your selection. I never felt rushed what-so-ever even though there was a steady flow of customers coming and going. They even have a coffee machine as well as munchies in the waiting room, which is something more places need to start doing! As for the medicine itself, they had a whole wall of selection that was reasonably priced. The ones that I checked out were top notch and really satisfied my pain needs as promised by my bud tender. I can’t remember which strain I got exactly, but I know it was an Indica. Without a doubt, overall I can say I had a very enjoyable experience and will absolutely be back again!

     The owner came out to introduce himself, and took his time to inform me of the history of an old favorite, Northern Lights. His batch has a special history to it, and is of UTMOST quality.

149. Sadly disappointed this was my 3rd visit. They had advertised on their specials that all ladies spin the wheel however I was not offered a chance to spin it. I looked at a few of their new meds and asked a few questions. I also inquired as to price at that time I declined to buy a gram. I stated I wanted to purchase 2 pre rolls and the gummy bears. After that the man was short with me and rude towards me. This made me feel uncomfortable and I wanted to get out of there quickly. Sad because I went out of my way to make the drive to EGC all to be made to feel this way which I was told yes they had the 2 strains of pre rolls I wanted but no gummy bears. When I went to window to purchase I was told they only had 1 strain of the 2 that I wanted. Just overall disappointed this time. I know not everyone can be 100% all the time but my money and patronage are just as good as anyone who spends high dollar amounts. I was left to feel unwelcome simply because my purchase was not a high dollar amount. :-/

157. I like the way the place feels inside, but I don’t think ill go back there. Ill explain why. Though it might be justified by the price I guess. I got an ounce of “Green Crack” and a herb grinder. The flower was very “kiefy” and resembled a sativa strain quite well. But when consuming it, I was very let down by it. The flower was nowhere near being a good medicine. Cost $120ish. The grinder though, the threads are crooked so it does not screw together straight until its screwed on all the way. Also the teeth in the grinder mesh against each other and cause pieces to flake unless I only twist back and forth. Cost $10ish. In all, I was disappointed with the flower and the grinder was just bad.

Called in ahead of my visit to see if there shatter was still available and was insured that their supply was sufficient. 15 miles later, I arrived to a packed waiting room, raffle ticket queue and about an hour long wait. 20 minutes in I noticed the shatter had been erased off their chalk menu so I went and questioned the front desk person. It is very confusing having 10 people packed into the reception area conversing among themselves. After pleading with one of the people manning the front desk, and him accusing me of misreading the Leafly menu. He was left awkwardly set-back when he disproved his own accusation after he found the shatter still on their menu. No reimbursement for time wasted, they didn’t even seem sorry. The staff is edgy and unwelcoming, their overweening was off putting. They’re pretty informal and their products are difficult to shop for unless you’re already adept to the strains AZ dispensaries have to offer. An hour and sometime after and I left unhappy with my purchases and not likely to ever return.

287. so egc was the first dispensary i started frequenting, gotta love the 10 dollar grams but lets get into the real reason i felt compelled to write this review… what happened here guys, i stopped coming here about a year and a half ago due to long wait times, (had an 1.5 hour wait i made a pre order and went back up to the window and they had my order ready within 10 minutes… seriously?) inconsistent service, and an overall sense of not caring for patients, so step up a year later im going out for my birthday to all the dispensaries, and i figured lets make my first stop here they open at 8 am… so i pull up no one in the parking lot i figured no patients should be quick, boy was i wrong, so i walked into the waiting room first thing i noticed was a weird smell, there was trash sitting all over the floor like no one cleans at night or the morning, walk up to the the front counter to check in… the front desk lady didn’t say hello was not friendly at all like i was interrupting her morning coffee, i sit down its 815 at this point, still waiting 825 still waiting… still waiting 833 and they finally call my number back i have been here for almost 30 minutes with no other patients in the lobby im literally the only one still…. get back to the waiting room the “budtender” was not friendly no hello literally first words out of his mouth what do you want? i asked to see 3 different strains this guy spent i shit you not 5 minutes looking he finally finds it (still not the ones i was asking for), after asking for strain knowledge for specific things the only thing he could tell me was it was an indica and no other information straight up no knowledge… its 850 at this point and he finally starts to log in my purchase by the time i actually hand this guy money its 903 am… first patient in the building i wanted to purchase 2 1 grams strains in a pre pack and it takes over an hour to get it???
     oh its not even close to being done later in the afternoon i was at another dispensary and was talking about my experience and a guy chimes in i work there and hate it, i wont repeat the things he told me due to content but they were extremely negative not one positive thing came out of his mouth about this dispensary… its gone down hill i will not be returning to this spot, seriously lacking in quality and compassion….

I feel more comfortable in general with the process now but, the women at this location were so friendly and patient I would have no problem taking a drive to location again. At Encanto, my 3rd time making a purchase, I finally felt comfortable enough to take my time and relax, the girls basically held my hand and walked me threw the store section by section, I asked lots of question and the responses were obviously from experience and not just scripted Wikipedia info. The girl with the hoop nose ring was so chill while I was thinking and silent, after she gave her advice and answered my questions, I still had her 100% attention. From the corner of my eye I notice she never looks around, huffs and puffs or looks to be in a rush, her assistance was comforting and patient, for instances she never asked “so is that what you want?” Or “So which one?” I felt like being at a friends house wishing I had more time to kick back and chop it up. In conclusion Encanto is an awesome place and their skunk diesel budder is great, the quality and price are perfect.

Tommy Chong must have been paid a ton… I’ve watched customers get treated poorly, prices go up, and meds go down. The shatter is the same exact shatter, but now its 45 a g instead of 38.5. 437. Giving a 4 star in quality because in the past few months I’ve had many gs of shatter turn into sugar in less than 1 week. Worth taking away a star. I’ve always had lovely buds though. Chong’s dream is a really nice one, and I do think it’s worth the extra $2 a gram.

     Service is overall inefficient. They are mostly pleasant, just tend to move pretty slow. I also think it’s counter-productive to not offer the daily deals for online shoppers. They push their app so heavily, why would they not include the same deals there? Because I don’t want to wait 20-60 minutes in a small, crowded lobby? Doesn’t seem fair. I think the way they run the lines is a bit inefficient as well. Why not have both windows functioning for everyone? Sometimes one line is really long and the other employee is just hanging out, looking at all these customers that could be helped.

     Atmosphere is a 3 star because the building lobby is rundown and dirty looking. They do always have nice refreshments for free and some TV’s which earn them the 3 stars. I’ve just seen some really immaculate lobbies before and this doesn’t stack up to those at all.

     Overall. I would recommend this to a friend for the same reason I come back, because of the realistic prices. Some places want a ridiculous amount of money for the product. I would warn a friend about the sugaring shatter though.

448. So this place is popping. Three days a week they have 10 dollar g’s with no limit on strains or quantity. Staff are easy going and are able to answer any questions and give good recommendations. Strains are organized by type, and there is a really large edible selection. I don’t really care for edibles but the rice crispy treat looked real good so I asked the bud tender a question about them and he broke it all down for me based on price and potency which made my selection way easier. They weigh meds out in front of you and give you a little more if the nug is stemmy. Really nice security guard too. Don’t get ripped off at some other places, come here you wont be disappointed!

469. The location of the place is a little seedy. The interior is acceptable. Unfortunately I have a few things I’d like to say. One instance is I bought a prepared oz. it was labeled as indica, which is my preference. I trusted their knowledge, made a judgement and when I got home I read the strain on leafly and it labeled it as a 50/50 hybrid. Leafly was right by testing it. I received little compensation for their mistake and I had to use it. It was not favorable. I’ve looked at their website and here on leafly and the menu isn’t consistent when I arrive. I’ve noticed further mislabeling too. I can’t contest their price, and when correct it is more than what you pay for, admitted. Just do research before you go, and you will have satisfaction.

470. I’ve been here twice and the two visits were very different. The first time I went was when the place was just opened for less than a week. It went great! Nice friendly people / service, pretty decent meds, and I left a happy patient. The second visit about a month later was just shameful. The budtender was unfriendly and seemed to just rush me through. Many of the meds were noticeably uncured with their grassy fresh smell. But the meds are not my biggest problem. What they did on “free gram monday” is my biggest problem. They raised their donation prices on ALL meds on Free Gram Monday! It was a $70 eighth for Jack Herrer when it’s usually $60. No other club/dispensary charges that much ever for an EIGHTH. My friend that came with me didn’t even get his free gram! They gave him $5 off! Now I wonder what percent of possible prizes were actually not a free gram (they have you stick your hand in a box and pull out a random bottle with what you won written on it) and that “free gram monday” is just a tactic to lure more customers in without delivering what they promised.

When I arrived the lobby was nice, the cookies were a good touch the lady at the desk was kind of unwelcoming but the budtender made up for that. The meds were not cool. The Alien Kush and jack was about the best smelling best meds they had that day. They weighed out the nugs in front of me and hooked me up.      Today I had Xavier as my budtender, and he’s the one that inspired me to write a review. I had a huge order today with tons of deals and discounts that was probably the most annoying thing for any employee. Having high anxiety it’s always a struggle going out places for shopping, and adding on an annoying order makes it so much worse.

     Xavier did an awesome job making sure I knew he was there to help me, not just standing there behind the counter annoyed, but patently working to try and get the best deal possible. Definitely a good addition to the awesome staff already hired.

     In the past, almost every budtender has been memorable from Shon to Michelle, always being helpful and making the best recommendations. Assistant manager Sami always knows how to take care of her customers and keep them coming back with her bubbly personality and desire to make sure everyone who comes in leaves happy.

534. I’ve been recommending Encanto Green Cross to other cardholders since I found this place (and I’ve checked out quite a few other dispensaries up to this point). Top quality meds, large selection, helpful attentive staff (even when the waiting room is packed) and, best of all, some of the best specials around. It’s hard to beat their $10/gm special and the fact that there is a special every day of the week means that you can usually find some way to save money while not skimping on quality. Even though this is a state licensed facility with what I understand is a large grow operation, it has more of a mom and pop feel — they really seem to care about the quality of their goods and their service with the owners right on sight running the show and greeting customers.

601. Encanto Green Cross has improved since my visit last year. I was brought it when seeing $25 OTD half gram of concentrates. As far as shatter I tried Voodoo Kush. I loved it although I’ve had more potent wax which I self produced. Assuming some slight differences in process as I know I blast only bug runs. no shake no trim. I’m unsure how they do it but I’d suspect they do a fair mix of buds to shake and trim. Durban poison crumble which I didn’t grab was extremely green for crumble. I suspect trim as chlorophyll can be extracted unintentionally when using trim. however ill return for convenience in between my own extractions.

     Can’t something be done about this black mold? I have never heard of something like this happening.

I really enjoyed Becky one of the bud tenders as she helped me make wise decisions for a great price. Becky needs to be given a HI 5 everyday. I can see she manages the floor from where I sit and I come in maybe 3 to 5 times a week. She needs a raise. Before I retired I was a District Manager for a BIG Retail chain. I have seen a 200 percent change in customer service since she has been working at this outlet. I am an old user and your shake has sticks in it but shake should be shake off the bud. 727. I used to love this place until I bought a youcan vape pen. I took it back because the battery wouldn’t charge and they wouldn’t replace it. They were so rude saying they don’t know what I did to it, when I have just used it normally for only a month and a half. Bought a cartridge and it leaked as soon as I drove away and the battery wouldn’t even charge or work at all. Had to go back to replace both items and they refused to replace my youcan vape. 731. I have been going to encanto for a few years now. I always liked their prices and the staff was always nice. This last Wednesday I went to pick up an ounce for $99 as they had advertised. I live in Mesa now so it is quite a trip to make. When I got there the guy that aEURoehelpedaEUR me said that they were out. That they only had $125 oz. and they only provided 2 strands 1 which they were out of. So the bud tender just hands me a bag and opens so I smell it. (Usually they hand you a few to pick out of). I was so disappointed I had to write this review. (Cuz Im not usually one to complain!) Now the weed itself is so seedy and steamy it’s almost impossible to roll up ( I got do-si-dos) I have picked this strand up before and it was not like this! it was an overall waste of time and money. Not to mention they had a giveaway where you could enter a ticket if you spent more than $50. I spent $140 and no tickets where handed to me to enter the sweepstakes. I always liked encanto for their quality and prices and staff but they have gone done hill. I will probably never return here again. I recommend the good dispensary in Mesa. prices are not bad and rewards program saves you a few bucks every other time you go in.

Went in last Sunday for the very first time and I had to wait 35 minutes before going in the back and there really weren’t that many patients there. there’s a sign on the wall that says that they don’t want to rush patients but actually they are the ones that don’t want to rush. 754. First time here. I could see how some people might not feel comfortable with the area but I noticed armed security on the premises so I felt safe. Sign up was quick and hassle free. There were 4 maybe 5 people ahead of me. I was seen in 3-5 minutes. The budroom is very intimate and small which I liked because it felt more personal and attentive. This place has the best priced concentrates Ive seen in the whole valley ever. Period. They had a special on them too which they have every Tuesday and thursday. Got a gram each of the brickleberry and green beret shatter. Very aromatic and more on the sappy side but I’ve noticed this tends to happen with fresher terpy concentrates. In my experience, oily sappy shatters will in time dry up and harden so I count this as a win in my book. Great color and flavor and for less than half the price of other places I will definitely be back. Checked out the northern lights which looked on point in appearance but my attentive budtender (forgot her name) recommend the 91 since I was looking at an Indica. Very pleased and what an amazing flower. Couchlock for sure. Nice amber trichs and beautiful smell, a sign of a perfect harvest, flush and cure. Flowers look and smell organic but can’t say for sure. Wasn’t able to check out the other flower as I was pressed for time. I really like the prepackaging over nug jugs though because it holds in the flavor and the meds stay fresh and sticky. Will definitely be back. As a first time patient I received the fattest preroll of blue dream I have ever gotten. Born and raised in California, I can tell just by the smell that it’s the real deal. Also got a free gram of shake which was also quite pleasant. A little farther from me but definitely worth the drive. CHECK IT OUT PEEPS!!

Drove 35 miles one way because of misleading ad in the New Times magazine that stated “buy one get one ALL FLOWERS.” Get all the way there to find out that the offer is only good for one strain…the cheapest strain on your menu-which calling it substandard quality is putting it nicely. I am reporting this to the state and calling New Times myself to express my disgust at wasting gas and taking the time during rush hour to drive to your dispensary, when there is one less than 300 yards from where I work! I came there expressly for your “special.” Last time I come there-regardless of the “deal”…because you aren’t concerned for the patients, its all about the money. I was going to purchase my limit, but drove 70 miles round trip for only 1 gram and luckily (?)got one free-just enough to get by until I could get to my usual dispensary. You should have stood behind your ad, and you would have if you had any integrity.
