Our Reno dispensary was founded on a simple premise: bring the best products, customer service and shopping experience to recreational and medical marijuana customers. We are a family-owned and operated business dedicated to improving the quality of life for our customers through superior strains and knowledgeable staff. We know that there are options for marijuana in Reno, which is why we developed our own strains and paired them with experienced advice to help our customers and patients get the results they want.

Bud is old and dried out. Dismal products that are worth the prices for the quality. I seriously recommend shopping elsewhere with better products and deals.
Kanna just keeps getting better! How is that possible? They have amazing new strains coming out so often it is hard to keep up!

Equally important, you are treated well when you visit! As a medical patient I have had no negative impact on rec legalizing at Kanna. The staff is so kind and they often make my day because they are so sweet and cool… every single time!

This is a great dispensary. They were friendly and knowledgeable. I had a budtender to help me 1 on 1 as we walked around the room to check out available product. I have to admit though, I’m not a big fan of having my purchases tracked in their system. I don’t have a good reason for feeling that way and know it can be helpful, but I’d just rather they didn’t.
this is by far the best dispensary in northern Nevada( since that’s all I frequent) everyone there is awesome, uplifting your day if it’s down and really really respectful,Issac, Nicole,Devin,and everyone there are great, I would highly recommend them( but not really cause I want all there awesome flower to myself) lol!!!!

I definitely will be back to this shop. There was no wait time at all. It seemed as soon as I handed the lovely receptionist, I think her name was Leslie, my id I was called back. I was greeted with Jenn, who took her time to help answer a few of the questions I had to ask. She recommended the best products for me and I have to say, she did a very great job with her recommendations. I was checked out by Melissa who was an absolute doll and she made sure I had all the information I needed. This place is very inviting and has a very comfortable atmosphere. I will be going back here for all of my medicine.

With my first time discount and the already good deal on Chem Dawg, it only cost me like $195 out the door for an ounce! Chem Dawg isn’t the tastiest strain, as I’ve noticed with all Kynd products, but the 27% THC content (THC-A is like 30% or more on this strain) makes up for it totally. Other dispensaries are charging like $35 an 8th for Chem Dawg. My overall experience there was great. Really loved the staff (the guy who helped me was fantastic) and they even provided me with a printed out sheet with all of the test results/analytics from the lab where it was tested. I didn’t even know that dispensaries had this information available until I went to Kanna. What is great about this is I didn’t even know to ask for it or didn’t have to ask…they just automatically provided it and even had it ready for me when I arrived, as I had called before I showed up with questions about what I wanted to purchase. Would definitely go back to Kanna!

I was recommended by my homie since we both really enjoy our concentrates because they have really good deals on Fridays and Saturdays. They were really helpful and had a great selection tagged with good prices. I’m definitely coming here every Friday PayDay.

I have to give Jess a bad review. I was quite frustrated with a battery issue and he didn’t want to offer me any help other than reccomending a new cartridge and battery at my own expense. That was a gram cartridge and I’m not wealthy.
I should also mention his attitude sucked.

I have gone here about 5x now and I just love the place. Every employee is so nice, respectful, and very professional. They are also very knowledgeable about what best suits you personally with what ever condition you have! The office if very clean and nicely set up, its very easy to veiw all the product and check-out… Makes shopping very easy. They have very nice flower and great prices! They also have awesome daily specials, like who doesn’t like an even better deal on their medicine! I will definitely be going there again and spread the word about them!! Great selection in flowers, edibles and other goodies for medicating. The staff talked me into trying out the RAZZ which I will defiantly be back for a larger portion on! It was some powerful stuff, for an indica. As for sativa I tried out the sour cherry Diesel and I have to say a little went a long way I was very mellow from my aches and pain from just a gram.
I also tried a pack of the trokie?
Great for on the go I would consider it again.

I’ve been here multiple times this week, I come in and try a few strains and I already have a few favorites. This place is the real deal. Great design and awesome people that know a lot about what they are selling.
Kanna isn’t my favorite dispensary in Reno. The budtenders aren’t the most knowledgeable and the selection at this dispensary is very limited. They recently updated their website to promote their exclusive proprietary strains, Bubble Gum, Sour Diesel and Super Silver Haze, none of which are available at the dispensary. When I called and spoke to a young lady regarding this I was told “Kanna has had Bubble Gum in the past, though”. ???
I’d expect Kanna to have these strains available in stock at least most of the time, or at least have the products in stock before updating the website. I’ll visit again when they actually stock a particular strain I’m looking for.

Kanna is one of the 3 dispensaries that I frequent. They have an excellent and attentive staff, clean and comfortable facility, and generally have good prices. The thing about Kanna is that somehow, it just feels homey. It is down the street from another dispensary that I also frequent, but that one just feels like a prison. Kanna also has daily specials and a senior discount which adds up.

my least favorite Reno-area dispensary. way young hipper-than-thou staff more interested in their needs than yours, not welcoming, displays are not helpful, not the feel I was looking for. house-grown stash not fresh or fragrant. not worth the trip IMO.

This is one of my favorite locations and is my go to if the shop near me is closed. They have an amazing atmosphere, they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and most importantly they had amazing product anywhere from less then $10/Gram up to $20/Gram for some extremely good product. I have only tried their flower so far, but I have never been disappointed in even their cheaper stuff. Also, they had a huge selection, and their store had an amazing setup where they can take the bud from the case and let you examine and smell it without touching it. The special containers also had a mini magnifying glass on it. Overall, this was definitely one of the best dispensaries and I would go again any day. The only issue is that they have a small parking lot, but that is a very small issue. There has always been spots open.

You’re greeted by a very kind receptionist who will keep you very good company until an incredibly intelligent bud tender will help you find whatever you need. Check out is fast and always on point and the ladies are a hoot! Coming back here literally every time!

I was impressed with Kanna dispensary as soon as I drove up to the entrance. Seeing a guard out front really put me at ease. The parking lot is not shared by other businesses and is separated from the road with a small wooden fence. Being an older woman alone I felt very safe. The guards check Id’s before a person enters the establishment. The guards are very nice and I am glad they are right there in uniform looking professional.
The reception area is small with a couple of people working the front desk. The restroom is off to the left side around a corner. I noticed it as I was walking out of the dispensary area.
The dispensary area has an old western bank feel to it. It kind of felt like an historical place even though I know it is not. But maybe in a hundred years the property may have some historic value considering it is the first medical marijuana business in Sun Valley. The dispensary clerks are behind windows with bars and the room is kind of dark. The display area has an open feel. It is just a clean square room with display cases lining the walls. The cannabis and other products are neatly displayed and easy to see.
The prices for their products are comparable to other dispensaries in town and the staff is knowledgeable.
Driving to Kanna from the North Valley is pleasant compared to driving into Reno or Sparks.
There are a variety of products not just with THC but products that have a small amount of THC and a high amount of CBD. Some people like myself need more of the CBD than THC.
Because of the physical presence of security guards this establishment is a good place to go for women and seniors who are alone compared to another place in town that I went to when I first got my medical marijuana card.
I definitely will make this my go to place. The people working there are very nice and knowledgeable

I’ve been to all three dispensaries in Washoe County….. this is one of the most educational; over-the-top customer service; and I must say the dispensary itself is very inviting and classy. As a person who has worked with most medical marijuana establishments (MME’s) in the state of NV, I can honestly say that they have top quality product, and are really a “diamond in the rough” just waiting to be discovered. Highly recommend!!!

Great environment for a dispensary! You are greeted the moment you leave your car and taken care of quite attentively! The specials are good enough to bring you in and make you hit up that atm! The flower is great quality, edibles are available and very tasty. I recommend a brownie or two! The CBD selection over-all is very limited, they have a small variety of concentrates which are new to me!

You will not get the same flower that you picked when you purchase. Three consecutive times received far lower quality flower than in the display, and twice was not even close to the same strain. Budtenders had little knowlege of product, but that is nothing compared to bait-and-switch operations.
I came to Reno from California with no medical Marijuana because I was concerned about driving with it. Since they now take any states prescription in Reno, I was hoping to find good medicine. After dealing with a horrible delivery service, I had a friend take me here. Not what I expected at all. It reminded me of a high scale coffee shop, in Europe. The tender found me some incredible ACDC that had more CBD than anything I’ve ever tried. Very potent lemon smell and helped my Lupus(leg shakes) tremendously. I slept like a child. Thank you.

What a day! Yesterday was filled with a bunch of errands with Kanna last on my list before going home and relaxing.. Headed to my last stop thinking i’ll get that same shrug with everyone else that day..NOT AT ALL! I get into the check in lobby area and the girl there was nice and was aksing how the weather was outside and had interest in my day which I was happy to share minus all the errands.. another girl Jenn called me from the back almost like she was already knowing what i needed there.. and she did! She started talking about new stuff coming in that matched closely to what i was looking for so she sold me a few more items than I was planning but I figured why not try other new products.. she told me she could try to keep an eye out for new stuff if there was a preference I had! I was like what? really?? I love knowing I can go to Kanna and have really nice people helping me out like they already know me like I’m a regular, well, I am.. But I dont mind going back no matter the wait as long as I feel like I’m almost family.. Keep it up guys/girls at Kanna and thank you Jen for taking the time to answer all my dumb questions.. 🙂
I went in for the first time yesterday and the service was awesome. Everybody I encountered from security to sale was friendly and easy going. They have a nice selection of bud. The budtender, Jessica, also let me know about an upcoming sale I intend to participate in. I will definitely return to this dispensary again.
This is, and has been since May 2016, my favorite store in Northern Nevada. They are the only store here that I’ve found to sell trim, and they even offered some recipes to make budder with it. I’ve always had great service here from a real cool staff and recommend it to anyone.

Definitely out of my way but I wanted to try somewhere different. this was a very pleasant experience the flower they had on display was absolutely mind-blowing. very tempting but concentrates are my thing now and Kana delivered the goods. prices decent on par with everywhere else staffs there to help but not overly pushy hey we all like this. I’ll be back.
I love how each and every one of the Budtenders are very knowledgeable on the strains for each “disorder” a person has, either pain, stress anxiety headaches and social anxiety issues. I adore this place. I drive about 45-1 hour each way just to get my medicine from Kanna in Sun Valley. It’s that damn fantastic. All the employees are fabulous & great at what they do.

I like this little shop best out of the few I’ve been to. It’s small but has a decent selection. Prices aren’t bad, the budtenders have been friendly and informative as i am pretty novice to the marijuana world. They’ve helped me find several strains I’m enjoying and mid day, they are never very busy. Cool shop, I’ll be back often.

I absolutely prefer this dispensary over all the others in Reno. I have tried them all and the individual customer service cannot be beat. Try to request Jenn as a budtender, she gives the best recommendations. Everything she has told me to try, I have not been disappointed with. Everyone is so nice there. I tell everyone to go here. Stopped by when my normal goto dispensary was out of Sativa concentrate. I look for specific terpene strains for my anxiety. The staff was very helpful and even provided me with the full test results. Definitely will be going back for more Green Crack.
Great shop, the best in the Reno area. Prices are better than others but still need to come down as many medical cannabis patients are seniors and disabled whose incomes are really low. The store has a great selection but needs to carry high quality shake half oz and ozs that people on a budget could smoke and that could also be used for baking and making edibles.

Went recently and there isn’t much to like about this place. 1.) Samples are in glass cases and very difficult to examine, especially when staff doesn’t even offer a closer look. 2.) The basic pricing and daily specials is an exercise in smoke and mirrors that prevents you from knowing how much you’re spending until staff tallies it. 3.) The weed is not fresh…one of the products that I wanted to buy was harvested in March!
I don’t care about the dispensary’s architectural design, parking lot, staff friendliness, etc…all I want is high quality weed at a good price without all the confusion that this place throws at its customers.
Everyone was so friendly. I was treated like my health issues mattered and Brian was very knowledgeable. I did try 2 new items never tried before. I usually make my own liniment with1-2 buds in 97% isopropyl alcohol. So I’m trying massage oil. Works execellently!!! A really great product. The Trokie? Eh…so-so. I actually was surprised to see how small this teenie-tiny little square was and it was not quartered off so I had to cut it into rediculously 4 tiny squares. I never reached the ability to sleep. And I didn’t really like the stinging/burning sensation (like the nicoderm gum. But the place is clean, friendly, knowledgeable and I will go back!!thank Brian

If you haven’t tried Kanna, I would. Jen is super nice and gives great recommendatons. Whether you are medical or recreational, you will not be disappointed. Saturdays are the best days for medical patients, you get to pick your own deal which you can always find something you need. It gets difficult to pick which deal you want.

This is a great location with easy access, a straight shot up Sun Valley Blvd from the freeway. There is NEVER a wait time and it’s definitely the easiest place to pop in and pop out. They’re even open until 9 pm most nights! I really enjoy the people and experience there. Five Leaf Location!
I would recommend any friend or family member that appreciates high quality medicinal quality product. Kanna offers A wide variety of indicas and sativas. They currently have two concentrates one is 67%Thc and the other is Ghost Train haze and tests at 76%Thc they have some moderately priced glass pieces and the flowers are provided by some of the areas most highly respected growers. I saw nice dense nugs and smelled some white cherry, cherry cheese cake, xj13, kannatonic, blueberry cheesecake, og kush, ras og, everything was lab tested and provided even what inputs were used in the making. They will be providing their own cultivation and a larger inventory of edibles and juju joints along with more concentrates with in the next week.

As a consumer who has been trying to wean myself off MS Contin for a year and a half after taking the drug for over ten years I am incredibly grateful for this dispensary. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable but they are all so friendly that it has truly taken all the stress of deciding how to get off such an addictive drug. I am just about totally off the MS Contin and for the first time in my life I feel that I have a say in my health.
